Nava Thai

Stedham, Chichester, <20£
21/08/2018: best Thai food in Hampshire but shame about the service as it's always slow and the order is constantly menue is cheaper than the restaurant menue abit confusing as the food is the same..
20/08/2018: Called in one evening with my wife on the way back from Old Thorns Golf.

The Greyhound

Stedham, Chichester
27/08/2018: We visited last Sunday for an evening roast. We were informed that only roast dinners were available, but that suited us well. There was beef, pork, lamb and vegetarian options. All came with lots of gravy, enormous Yorkshire puddings and individual side dishes of vegetables (including cauliflower cheese, which I love!). The service was very good and there was a nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
09/08/2018: My wife and I visit when we're not in the mood to cook, or just fancy Sunday lunch out and it's also a great place to meet friends and family. Aways friendly service and excellent food.

The Bluebell at Cocking

Stedham, Chichester
02/01/2018: Not bad, fed well, good service but not a taste sensation. I got what I expected and will come back again.
14/10/2017: We've eaten here several times in the past. Such a quant little pub and just a short walk across the downs for a birthday treat with family. The food is a little pricier than other pub grub but you get what you pay for and not many pubs offer excellent guinea fowl on their menus. My banana split dessert was devine. It was very quiet and relaxing and we had the full attention of the one very nice member of staff.

The Unicorn Inn

Stedham, Chichester, 20-30£
16/08/2018: We decided to go for lunch today Thurs 16th Aug to celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary...The Unicorn was where we spent two nights of our honeymoon.
03/08/2018: The Unicorn is a lovely old pub and the ambience is just right. The setting is just beautiful and there are many tables outside from where one can watch the beautiful South Downs.

The Royal Oak Country Pub and Pantry

Stedham, Chichester, 30-45£
10/08/2018: Excellent calamari starter and v good fish pie. The garden is basic but nice and the staff friendly. Food is well priced.
09/08/2018: Two friends and I have just had the £12.50 two course meal here. Fresh fish in light batter served with sizzling fresh crispy chips, pea mash and tartare sauce. Then the most scrumptious fruit crumble served with ice cream AND a jug of custard. I think our waitress was Amy who couldn't have been more helpful or smiley. My only question is why I don't come here every day!

The Glasshouse

Stedham, Chichester
04/03/2018: This isn't just a café it's a unique environment. Set in the greenhouses of a proper plant nursery, not a retail therapy garden centre, the mismatched (but oh-so-comfy)furniture and crockery make it feel homely. The staff are friendly and attentive, and made a fuss of our dogs and the coffee is good and strong, with huge scones and butter for elevenses.
10/12/2017: It's not often that you find a cafe in a greenhouse, but it works. All homemade food, very friendly service from the owner - the ideal coffee stop while you're buying your bedding plants. Open during the opening hours of the garden centre/nursery.

The Country Inn

Stedham, Chichester
21/01/2018: We enjoyed our first visit to The Country Inn last night. We were made to feel very welcome and had a spectacular meal sat by a roaring fire. The food was simple and delicious as well as really good value. We will definitely go back soon
09/08/2017: A group of us had lunch here. The landlady organised a table for 10 of us and was very welcoming. Although we had to wait a bit for the food it was good when it arrived. The fish and chips I and another of our party had was good. There are some excellent beers. Service was efficient. Prices very reasonable.

Moonlight Cottage

Stedham, Chichester
16/05/2018: Really comfortable night. Very soft bed. Hosts very helpful. Delicious breakfast served in the tea-room. Looking forward to my peanut butter sandwiches that I have ordered for lunch. Nice to have a different choice from cheese or ham!
09/04/2018: We stop here during our Easter walk on the South Down Way for a cup of tea. Then we were tented by the cozy place and we had scrambled eggs with salmon and a nice portion of cake. Dog friendly, very cozy and delicious tea room!
