The Unicorn Inn

Stedham, Chichester, 20-30£
01/09/2018: Hadn’t intended to stop here, but the garden looked back up at the Downs where we had been walking, the beer was Adnam’s and the bar snack was so-ooo tempting.

The Bluebell at Cocking

Stedham, Chichester
02/01/2018: Not bad, fed well, good service but not a taste sensation. I got what I expected and will come back again.
14/10/2017: We've eaten here several times in the past. Such a quant little pub and just a short walk across the downs for a birthday treat with family. The food is a little pricier than other pub grub but you get what you pay for and not many pubs offer excellent guinea fowl on their menus. My banana split dessert was devine. It was very quiet and relaxing and we had the full attention of the one very nice member of staff.

The Royal Oak Country Pub and Pantry

Stedham, Chichester, 30-45£
08/11/2018: A return visit to this venue 2nd Nov - great night with great live music. The food is really good too - great landlord and staff - what more could you want from a night out. Look forward to returning here next year. (we ain't that local!!)
21/10/2018: We went here for tea, the food was scrumptious and we are all leaving with a full stomach. The environment is also great and I love the bulbs spread around.

The Glasshouse

Stedham, Chichester
04/03/2018: This isn't just a café it's a unique environment. Set in the greenhouses of a proper plant nursery, not a retail therapy garden centre, the mismatched (but oh-so-comfy)furniture and crockery make it feel homely. The staff are friendly and attentive, and made a fuss of our dogs and the coffee is good and strong, with huge scones and butter for elevenses.
10/12/2017: It's not often that you find a cafe in a greenhouse, but it works. All homemade food, very friendly service from the owner - the ideal coffee stop while you're buying your bedding plants. Open during the opening hours of the garden centre/nursery.

The Country Inn

Stedham, Chichester
21/01/2018: We enjoyed our first visit to The Country Inn last night. We were made to feel very welcome and had a spectacular meal sat by a roaring fire. The food was simple and delicious as well as really good value. We will definitely go back soon
09/08/2017: A group of us had lunch here. The landlady organised a table for 10 of us and was very welcoming. Although we had to wait a bit for the food it was good when it arrived. The fish and chips I and another of our party had was good. There are some excellent beers. Service was efficient. Prices very reasonable.

Moonlight Cottage

Stedham, Chichester
07/10/2018: Very nice stop off. We shared a cheese platter which was lovely, but could have done with some more bread and the cheese portions were a little on the small side. However, it was very rasta and well presented.
11/09/2018: The local pub has been sold so dinner can be obtained by prior arrangement with the B&B.; The salmon dinner was excellent as was the breakfast. There is a nice outside seating area and the cakes were delicious. My room is close to a noisy road so I suggest a back room. The room was OK but the bed was a little soft. I thought the dinner was somewhat pricey but for walkers there is not much choice in the village.
