The Richmond Arms

Funtington, Chichester
14/06/2018: We went to the Richmond Arms for a midweek supper. Despite it being a Wednesday evening the pub was busy with a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. Lovely fresh bread and butter, halloumi fries and chorizo scotch egg to start followed by slow cooked beef brisket and bavette steak both served with dripping chips. Absolutely delicious. For desert my partner had lemon meringue but not as you know it and I had the excellent ice cream - the salted caramel is out of this world. This was our first visit to the pub but we will be back.
13/06/2018: Excellent food ,not your average pub food menu always has something on to try that you probably haven’t had elsewhere. Not cheap but then you don’t mind as the food is always fresh, local, well cooked and different .Highly recommended ⭐️You will always need to book as extremely busy

Hare and Hounds

Funtington, Chichester, 20-30£
19/06/2018: We went to this pub for lunch. The roads in the village are narrow, so given it was a sunny day we parked in the village (it is free) and walked to the pub. The pub itself has tables both inside and outside, and given...
17/05/2018: Went tues 14th may as usually there was a special on, normally Thai curry with a pint £15. Took some friends as they liked Thai curry. When I enquirer about specials was told everything was on menu, queried this and was again told everything on...

Funtington, Chichester, 45-60£
17/05/2018: Four of us went for a meal at Hallidays recently and we had a great evening. The food was superb, as always, and the staff so friendly and helpful (again, as always). I wanted vegetarian food and had phoned first to ask about a suitable...
06/04/2018: I booked Hallidays for my husbands birthday. I mentioned this on the telephone when booking and also on the evening . Whilst we truly didn’t want anything special a mention to the fact would have been nice. The food at Hallidays is superb and we...

Victoria Inn

Funtington, Chichester
03/06/2018: We stopped here for a afternoon pint, we chose to sit in the garden and take in the scenery. It's a peaceful village with plenty to take in.
02/06/2018: Located in a beautiful south down village this pub is worth a visit. Lovely menu. Excellent friendly service and good value.

The Fox and Hounds

Funtington, Chichester, 20-30£
19/06/2018: This pub/restaurant is a must for anyone in the Chichester/Emsworth area. Great food choice, reasonable prices and a countryside ambiance which nobody could dislike
18/06/2018: My partner and I used to visit this pub for food and drinks regularly as it was our local, but no more.

Woodfired in The Alley

Funtington, Chichester
04/05/2018: Having read and heard good reviews, we decided to go, and were really disappointed, it didn’t live up to the good positive vibes we’d had, the staff were quite standoffish, the pizzas were great, but the rest of the tapas style dishes were mediocre and undercooked, as well as overpriced for the tiny portions, not to mentioned the £2.15 for a soda water.
29/03/2018: We have been here a few times over the years as a special treat with our young family. Pizza always good, service very professional and a good ambience ensures a good time. Would go more often but it is very easy to rack up a big bill! Recommend making a reservation as it is always busy.

The Coach And Horses

Funtington, Chichester
07/04/2018: Called in on a Friday lunchtime.
09/08/2017: We four visited Compton from where we had a long walk, having coffee at the Village Shop, which was excellent. Proper speciality coffees with friendly and helpful service.
