12/02/2019: My husband and I were passing by in Sat staring so popped in for a quick bite. This pub is gorgeous all the way through and what an excellent menu!

10/02/2019: The Blacksmiths is a really nice place for a family lunch and highly recommended. Its menu is tasty and original while avoiding the traps of ‘unoriginal pub grub’ and ‘thoughtless gastro-pub’.

15/12/2018: What an excellent venue! I have used Crouchers for 3 years now to hold my annual Christmas celebration. The service is excellent, food is to die for and the organisation was faultless!! Big thank you to the friendly team.

26/11/2018: We organised a 100th Birthday party for our Mother and since she was already a regular diner at Crouchers immediately thought that the familiarity of the location would relax the whole event. We pre-booked the Breakfast Room and, being a Sunday, made the Sunday Roast menu the feature of the event. And so it proved to be with delightful, welcoming, and very efficient staff, she was indeed looked after like the Queen. Everybody had a really good time and ate their fill. It really was perfect.
