31/12/2017: Been a number of times and NEVER fails to impress. Food is excellent authentic tasty and great value.. . What more can you ask for... oh the staff.. they are wonderful helpful and full if smiles.. we know why you need to book and why it's so popular... worth planning in advance
21/10/2017: Food great, welcoming staff. Real different to all restaurants and surely one of the only non-chain restaurant's left in Chichester. Such a shame for this to close down.. cannot understand why when it always seems to be so busy

Chichester East, Chichester, <20£
21/06/2018: From Food presentation to flavours from staf to attention to detail , I have been well impressed , I have been to others ( local lemon grass ) this one in Chichester exceeded all that I have been so far .. highly recommend
03/06/2018: We had the lemongrass mixed starters, which were ok, but coulnt help but think they were like the ones you can buy in frozen food aisles. However the main courses were lovely. I had tai green curry and my husband the special duck curry. Both were fresh and flavoursome. My daughter had the pad Thai which she said were the best she’s ever had, although a fairly smalll portion. Service was good, and the house white was delightful and a bargain at £15.95. Would recommend.

Carluccio's - Chichester

Chichester East, Chichester, 20-30£
18/06/2018: Stopped for takeaway coffee on the fly, friendly blonde lady, quickly served even though busy. She kindly even ran after us to give my sons sun glasses left on the bar. Coffee was proper Italian cappucino too!
28/05/2018: perfect for coffee and a snack, always good quality served in pleasant surroundings, lovely alfresco setting, convivial and very calming, ideal shopping break

Brasserie Blanc

Chichester East, Chichester, 30-45£
18/06/2018: After initially being disappointed with the choice on the lunchtime set menu, the meals we had from the main menu were fantastic. The meals were well presented and arrived quickly. Service was also excellent. A very enjoyable lunch and will happily revisit.
18/06/2018: We met friends to celebrate a 65th Birthday, early Saturday evening .

The Barn Harvester

Chichester East, Chichester, <20£
20/06/2018: We came on a holiday and with a 4 year old autistic son who wanted fish and chips so We went to a familiar restaurant. It was really busy and this made my son struggle but we had brill staff shout out to Michelle for being understanding, supportive, prompt and efficient. Each staff we asked a question was lovely. Our food was prompt even though it was so busy. It was delicious! Compliments to the lunch time chef ! The salad bar was fresh. Clean and delishious- lovely selection and full. We had a discount code so we saved £10 if we spent £30. So we did just that. Two adult meals and a kiddies one with 2 refills. Really will be back in October when are next in the area. Really enjoyed our food. Also, the able toilet was clean and smelt fresh. Which is a fabulous thing. Beetroot and holumi burger and a pulled port and beef burger.
17/06/2018: I have been quite a few times even for Xmas. And, always enjoy the food and staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely setting I can't find any fault in food I have eaten here. Haven't done breakfast so can't comment on that. The salad bowl has quite a lot of different types of salad items including bread rolls. They only thing I would comment on I know at busy times they can't always help it but need to check toilets more.quite a lot of dust on top of mirrors. Apart from that. Love the place. Looking forward to going back again.

India Gate

Chichester East, Chichester
11/06/2018: I visited on a monday night, and took advantage of the buffet night , which is actually a starter , main, side dish , bread or rice, dessert /coffee.
13/04/2018: We visited on Monday night to take advantage of Banquet Night which advertises 5 courses for £13.95. Having been caught out elsewhere before we asked the waiter (manager?) when he brought the menus what was included. He sneered and said "it says clearly on the menu what's included". However the page he was referring to was only in one of the two menus he had given us but there was no apology. The food was excellent so no complaints there but when the bill came, we were charged normal prices for each dish, in other words no "Banquet Night" discount. When we queried it, the same waiter/manager said he hadn't realised we were on the deal. I would have thought that given it was a very wet Monday night and the restaurant was full, it would have been reasonable to assume that everyone was on the deal. When he gave us a revised bill, it was not itemised and came to £48.10, which is still rather steep - 2 x £13.95 plus 3 pints of Cobra, making the Cobra over £7 each.

Thai House

Chichester East, Chichester
26/01/2018: We come here a lot, service is sometimes terrible, sometimes faultless..... but the food is always good. You can eat really well here with a decent bottle of wine without breaking the bank. So if you are ok with the service being poor you will...
25/08/2017: Really good, but only go at the weekend when fully staffed. It is good food, but if you go in the week, service can be slower than slow.

The Nag's Head

Chichester East, Chichester, 20-30£
19/06/2018: Birthday treat, food excellent, service v good. Just outside city centre, parking at rear. Huge dining area with conservatory that lets light flood in. Carvery is popular here but they cook many other dishes..
18/06/2018: Really lovely old Pub with a great range of food. We had Fathers Day lunch here so it was really packed, but we had booked the table. We did wait a little while, about 45 minutes but we expected that on Fathers Day. It was worth waiting for though, as the carvery was delicious. My son had burger which was made with lovely tender meat, and the chips were so tasty. Would recommend this Pub but do book! The staff were very friendly and welcoming

India Gate at Kings Head

Chichester East, Chichester
10/06/2018: out first visit here and the quality was excellent, great portion sizes and excellent customer services. they even brought out an extra dessert as it was our friends birthday even though we hadn't mention it they had just noticed the card on the table
31/05/2018: We were staying nearby at the Park holidays resort so we popped in for an evening meal.

Spicy Soul

Chichester East, Chichester
27/05/2018: We rang to order a take away to pick up and were told it would be 45 minutes. That’s quite a long time for collection but it was a Saturday night so we figured they must be busy. When we got there it wasn’t ready. It seemed several people were waiting. We finally got ours over an hour after ordering and were disappointed with the results. The sag baji was swimming in grease. The mint dip that came with the salad didn’t taste at all minty, just sweet and looked like Thousand Island dressing. The paneer tikka was really tasty but the tarka dal was very had an odd smell and flavour to it. My husband said it reminded him of mosquito repellent and I thought it tasted of the smell of those hot flannels they give you at the end of a meal. Not very appealing to say the least. It was a shame because the dal was a good texture and not too oily, just the right thickness but the unidentifiable flavour was very off-putting. My husband’s dansak was okay but a bit lacking in flavour. I wouldn’t order there again.
05/02/2018: This was recommended to us by a friend and we would definitely get a takeaway from again. Great value, broad menu, good set menu, delivered on time. Well done.

Pizza Hut

Chichester East, Chichester
26/05/2018: Blimey there are Some Sniffy reviews for what is basically a Pizza Hut. Food was good, service was good and overall I cant really fault it. Not the cheapest place to eat but it did the job,.
20/05/2018: It took nearly 15 minutes for someone to come and take our order after being seated. It was hardly busy! We ordered a sharing Pizza at nearly £20. In the menu it was called a meat feast but it was definitely not topped with plenty of meat. Very tight with the ingredients, bland flavour, lack lustre interaction from staff. We will not be bothering with Pizza hut again anytime soon.

Chichester East, Chichester
17/06/2018: There are two MacDonalds in Chichester of about the same standard of mediocrity.
06/05/2018: Breakfast drive through this morning as we were in a rush, not a good idea when one of the headsets was causing one of the staff grief.

Masala Gate

Chichester East, Chichester
06/10/2016: Went for meal on Monday and the place is shut. Tried 'phoning no answer. So looks like the best curry house in Chichester is no more for the tome being.
05/10/2016: We ordered a late takeaway. Service was awful. food was ok, Chicken Tikka meat tasted like it had been defrosted quickly. Not great, complained, no refund, should have taken it back in apparently, instead of binning it.

Woodies Wine Bar & Brasserie

Chichester East, Chichester, 20-30£
14/07/2017: Small bar for a few beers as a meeting venue. Friendly staff but the bar itself is nothing to write home about.
22/06/2017: Mis amigos y yo visitamos el miércoles por unos cócteles en el sol. Anteriormente fui a No. 1 northgate fue mediocre y que sin duda contentos salimos!
