The Old Bank

Snettisham, King's Lynn and West Norfolk, >100£
10/03/2019: We came for lunch to this restaurant and thought the food was absolutely amazing. I loved that there wasn’t too much choice on the menu. Each course was cooked perfectly. We all thoroughly enjoyed the meal but I appreciate that some people may suggest that a little less salt is used. I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant.
09/03/2019: Very busy, good food and excellent service. The loos are situated in an adjacent building which is a bit of a bore but they are working on it.

The Duck Inn

Docking, King's Lynn and West Norfolk
17/03/2019: I arrived later than expected but that was no problem. Food was soon on the table and the fish was good
17/03/2019: Really enjoyed our meal at the Duck. Food was excellent, as it has been every occasion I have visited. Service is always good, even when they are busy. Would always recommend for a great meal if you are in the area.

Market Bistro

St Margarets with St Nicholas, King's Lynn and West Norfolk, <20£
19/03/2019: Saw some good reviews and liked the menu on the website so decided to give this place a try when visiting Kings Lynn. A perfect dining experience - great and imaginative starters, mains and desserts. Desserts we tried were really superb! So good we came back for a second visit at the end of our week in Kings Lynn. Scallop, mackerel and pigeon starters were all excellent. Venison and halibut mains were just right size (not too large) so that one could manage a dessert. Chocolate mousse, beetroot ice cream, beetroot sherbet, and artichoke dessert was an amazing mix of tastes, as was the pecan, treacle cake, pecan granola, peanut butter ice cream, and maple pancetta dessert. Cheese board also good. Wines by the glass were also very good with all we tried going perfectly with the courses. Background music was unobtrusive and appropriate for the setting. Loved the Nyetimber classic cuvee fizz. Really unexpected great dining experience! Quality of food really warrants cloth napkins though.
15/03/2019: I had heard very good word of mouth reviews for this restaurant and after my lunchtime visit today, with my wife and two friends, I can say that I thoroughly endorse what others had told me.

The Neptune

Hunstanton, King's Lynn and West Norfolk
16/03/2019: Some truly oustanding courses, worth the drive from Norwich & overnight stay. Great service & attention to detail - hosts clearly value their customers & enjoy what they do. Most enjoyable experience.
07/03/2019: Nice treat for me and the wife! Fantastic food, surounding sand service. Very good. Free parking. Easy stroll to Old Hunstanton beach.

Old Boat House Cafe

Hunstanton, King's Lynn and West Norfolk
17/03/2019: Visited cafe with large family group and 2 dogs last Tuesday. Ideal spot for beach walk and wonderful views. Cafe served good large fresh food. I had spiced soup which was delicious. All our other food was enjoyed by all. There were cost cushions and blankets for our dogs which they snuggled into. Would recommend this cafe.
15/03/2019: Easy review this, fantastic place to go after a beach walk. Unfortunately being so good it is getting very popular, owners will be pleased. Food is always great, good selection and the place is dog friendly as well.

Heacham, King's Lynn and West Norfolk
29/01/2019: This mobile pizza van does the most amazing delicious pizzas. The base is super thin and crispy and the toppings are excellent quality. Tried the Meat Feast and garlic bread-both scrumptious!
25/01/2019: Bardoli is a mobile kitchen cooking excellent pizza's. They do not live in Ringstead as this is an old address. However they travel each night between Hunstanton, Dersingham, Sedgeford & Docking. A family run business with excellent food. Look at their website for more info.

Hilgay with Denver, King's Lynn and West Norfolk
15/03/2019: As usual had a great time. It's always nice to be welcomed so enthusiastically by the staff. Today we were served by Leanne who always greets us with a smile (but then again she's always smiling) lots of friendly banter while waiting for our order with Amy, Leanne and Lewis. When Leanne brought our order as usual it was just what we asked for, that's why we like coming to Arbuckles because it's always welcoming and the food is great
14/03/2019: Three of us visited on Wednesday the 13th for a birthday meal, and boy was it good. Met on arrival and seated in a booth promptly.

The Wellington Pub, Restaurant & Inn

Denton, King's Lynn and West Norfolk, <20£
15/03/2019: Arrived before food stopped but refused to serve us a sandwich, despite others getting there’s! Not polite either!
07/03/2019: We always enjoy our visits to the Wellington a lovely pub in a lovely village. The food is excellent with a good choice on the menu as well as interesting beers and wines. On this occasion we had a two course Sunday lunch for £12 a head. The beef was cooked to perfection and served with wonderful Yorkshire puddings and fresh vegetables; the Cointreau creme Brulee was outstanding! We highly recommend a visit to the Wellington and advise booking first; it is very popular and understandably so given the quality of food served.

The Hero

Burnham, King's Lynn and West Norfolk
14/03/2019: Stayed overnight in the Gun Hill room which was large and comfortable with views to the estuary Dined in the bar last night excellent food served by friendly staff Plenty of good walks and wildlife nearby Recommend!
13/03/2019: The Hero is a superb place to stay in a great location, it’s a really short walk to the estuary where you can see plenty of wildlife etc, the rooms are of a very high standard, and the breakfast is to die for.

The Jolly Sailors

Brancaster, King's Lynn and West Norfolk, <20£
18/03/2019: On holiday again in North Norfolk. Visited The Sailors for lunch today. Arrived just after 2.00. When I mentioned ordering food I was informed that the kitchen closed at 2.00 pm, Monday- Thursday during the winter. However Simon, the Manager asked the chef if he would say late and cook our food order. He did, I think that’s marvellous in this day and age, excellent customer relations. Enjoyed a mussel starter before the season finishes, and Irish stew with Colcannon. It was lovely. All the staff are friendly and work permitting are happy to engage in conversation
17/03/2019: Enjoyed a truly lovely pub lunch here recently. On a very windy chilly day it was very welcoming and lovely and warm with two roaring fires. Plenty of tables, a good menu and very prompt service even though they were quite busy. The beef and ale pie was first class. Very attentive service, nothing too much trouble. We will definitely eat here again. Plus for special occasions they look like they are very experienced in providing great occasions.

The Stag

Priory, King's Lynn and West Norfolk
14/12/2018: Arrived just in time for lunch...last food order 1.45pm. Friendly, off the beaten track pub with home cooked food and decent ales. Steak and stilton pie was to die quality meat and a very generous portion. Also the ham, eggs and chips definitely recommended. Thanks TripAdvisor contributors ..we would never have found this pub alone. Thanks The Stag x
22/11/2018: Agree with earlier review "to die for", this is second time I've had this meal, and enjoyed immensely.

Pizza Express - Kings Lynn

St Margarets with St Nicholas, King's Lynn and West Norfolk, 20-30£
18/03/2019: Had dinner here with a local friend and it was pretty good. Had the hot diavola pizza and finished with the fig desert which was fantastic. Only disappointment was that the staff seem to disappear for long periods.
05/03/2019: Muy buen sitio para tomar unas pizza. Rapidez y calidad buenas. El precio un poco alto pero merece la pena.

The Anvil Inn & Restaurant

Valley Hill, King's Lynn and West Norfolk, 20-30£
09/03/2019: Another visit to the anvil this evening Stunning meal with excellent service thank you Stunning food and pleasantly busy
25/02/2019: I was surprised, and not a little impressed, to find so many reserved tables at 6:15 on a Wednesday. This restaurant is obviously popular with the locals (February is hardly the tourist season!). In spite of being busy, the service was very prompt.

The Coffee Pot

Hunstanton, King's Lynn and West Norfolk
26/02/2019: My Wife and I travelling down the East Coast on holiday had the good fortune to call in to this small cafe. It was spotless throughout bright cheerful and the young staff most helpful. I ordered a coffee, sandwich and a milkshake, Kay commented on how good the milkshake was and I was not disappointed with with my sandwich which came with a host of trimmings. Certainly the best value we had encountered the hole way down the coast. If you are travelling through Hunstanton its worth calling in, Excellent food and Excellent value.
18/02/2019: Been here before but only for coffee. Had a Jacket Potato with Tuna and side salad, husband had a prawn baguette with side salad. Food was very nice. Dog friendly and friendly staff!

The Lynn Arms

Rudham, King's Lynn and West Norfolk
17/03/2019: I was staying in the village and had heard that the pub was nearby. I had decided not to walk so that I could enjoy a beer. I checked that the place should be open on Tuesday but upon arrival I found a notice in the window indicating closure.
12/11/2018: Go to this place twice every month when visiting Norfolk. Beers are kept well and good range. The food is excellent and at a reasonable cost. Shall visit again when I can.
