The Cross Keys Country Inn & Restaurant

Stow, West Lindsey
15/12/2018: We visited at lunch today, a festive family treat. Three of us ate from the festive fayre menu and our son chose the classic menu.
10/12/2018: I am the biggest fan of The Cross keys at Stow, and whenever we fancy a special treat, have an occasion to celebrate or just need a bit of a pick me up we head straight there.

Albion Tea Room

Market Rasen, West Lindsey, >100£
19/11/2018: We stopped by for Sunday lunch and were so impressed. Excellent value, delicious food & friendly service. We'll be back.
04/11/2018: Wonderful experience from the very start, lovely host’s, service was friendly, warm and inviting. Roast dinners (lamb and beef ) with all the trimmings were tasty and well cooked, dessert choice was fabulous all being home made. Highly recommend and fantastic value. Will definitely visit again.

MaCh Restaurant

Nettleham, West Lindsey, 20-30£
17/12/2018: Came for a late Sunday lunch with parents, this being my first time of dining here!! The foods were nicely presented & freshly prepared, having a mild tikka myself, the meal was flavoursome & filling. Other meals were nice too!! I'll return again, or have their meals delivered, having taken a take-away menu!!
09/12/2018: What a lovely meal once again this time we brought our family with us for our son s birthday. Definitely the best in Lincoln. Once again we were well looked after by Khan he is very attentive to your table s requirements. Thanks Khan.

Dambusters Inn

Scampton, West Lindsey
28/12/2018: Lovely olde worlde English pub. So cosy and such a lovely atmosphere. Lots of things to look at, lovely and quirky. My dad enjoyed the wide range of cask beers and it was lovely to sit in front of the roaring fire before going to our table. The pub is fairly small so best to book a table, we went on a Friday night and every table was booked and the pub was packed. Not a large menu but there’s something for everyone and the food is good. Would highly recommend a visit
27/12/2018: What a fantastic experience at The Dambusters. Fantastic food and beer. The fish and chips are out of this world.

Upton Fish Shop

Lea, West Lindsey, <20£
22/11/2018: Without question, the greatest fish and chips I have ever eaten - served out of an authentic, little shop. Fresh fish, crispy batter, flavoursome chips. And they rarely get it wrong! For me anyway. Not much more to be added. 5 out of 5. World class. And virtually on my door step, too. Aren’t I lucky?
30/09/2018: We visited after watching an article on the new. We were not disappointed, it was worth the just over an hour drive. The fish and chips were out of this world, never tasted anything like it before, And the staff are really friendly as are the customers, It's not just a chip shop it's the whole experience. We will definitely be coming back and recommending it to our friends and family.

Fox and Hounds

Lea, West Lindsey
13/11/2018: Attempted to eat here about 10 years ago (which I have discovered was before the current owners) and the experience was so awful I vowed I would never go again. Plucked up the courage to visit again last week. What a change! Huge choice; speedy delivery; excellent quality. The food was piping hot and there was a good quantity of it - I had no space for dessert but those who did pronounced them to be excellent. We will be visiting again.
06/11/2018: Fantastic meals, great prices, friendly atmosphere and a great location, don’t expect to ever get to the sweets menu as the portions as very large and filling so no more room left for afters.

The Carpenters Arms

Fiskerton, West Lindsey, <20£
17/12/2018: We had a family Sunday lunch at The Carpenters Arms and the food was Fantastic quality and the portions were generous. The staff were excellent and the decor looked fresh immaculate. We will definitely be returning for another pub lunch here without a doubt.
17/12/2018: Decided to try the Carpenters has had good feedback from family and friends. All I can say is excellent. Food was very tasty, and very filling, almost too much food. Staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Nice setting and homely. Will definitely go back but will make sure I haven't eaten before I go.

kings head

Market Rasen, West Lindsey
21/11/2018: Lovely place, almost a 5 star, but with some faults, though we still enjoyed our visit. lovely pub with great staff in a lovely village. In general lovely food - starters of scallops with caviar and chorizo, chicken lever pate, good gluten free understanding. Unfortunately the rabbit with 'creamy cider and saffron sauce came with a heavy whole grain mustard sauce, so had to go back. A different sauce was supplied, much more to taste but hen it transpired the rabbit had been cooked in the mustard. So pate was had instead. A shame as this did let the place down. Staff handled the issue with grace and reflected in the bill. A one off that would not stop us going back. The gourmet burger was superb the partridge lovely and the beef goulash interesting. Puddings, pannacotta creme caramel apple strudel and eton mess were excellent.
16/11/2018: It was my first time visiting the pub which was highly recommended to me Went in for a meal with the partner was made to feel really welcome the food was all amazing had baked Brie as a starter followed by a fish platter as a main it was a really relaxed atmosphere definitely be going back soon

The Wishing Well

Cherry Willingham, West Lindsey
21/11/2018: After hearing about the great food I have to say we were all disappointed with the portion sizes except the 5 year old who had ample. It was cooked very well and tasted great. Just some of the mains on the Sunday menu (Not Sunday lunch) are like starters and at £10.50 overpriced for meal size.
18/11/2018: We had a beautiful Sunday roast today, cooked to perfection, red cabbage to die for, as was the lovely crunchy roast potatoes, the mash done perfectly, and the rest of the veg just right. Topped with perfectly cooked roast beef with beautiful Yorkshire pudding. Leaving just enough room for a perfect raspberry crem brûlée with shortbread on the side, obviously home made and not bought in, one word. “Superb”

Yarborough Arms

Lea, West Lindsey
01/12/2018: We went last night with our daughter and son in law ,although it was busy with a Birthday celebration the staff were very efficient and the food was excellent .We will be returning.
15/11/2018: Me and my wife live in Immingham and have been wanting to find somewhere close by that does an ok meal (we have struggled for five years to find somewhere). I recently read about the pies here and decided to give it a try. On arrival the place looks lovely and car parking was great, the lady behind the bar was lovely and attentive. On looking at the menu we both decided to have the steak pie and it turned out to be a great choice. They were amazing and we could not fault them at all. We both really appreciated that we where able to easily change the potato and veg option. Great work. We can't wait to come back!!

The Black Horse Inn

Thonock, West Lindsey, 20-30£
10/11/2018: Can’t believe I only live 5 miles away and have never been. Called in for lunch with the wife as didn’t fancy “dining” in Gainsborough and so glad we did. Massive choice of food including vegetarian and ales so we’re spoilt for choice. Everything we had was proper home cooked food with large portions served to perfection. If you want a massive choice of good food in a proper pub atmosphere at a reasonable cost then look no further.
04/11/2018: Friday night 6 of us came for a meal every meal was perfection massive improvement from our last visit back in august where the food was lukewarm and just not very good but we thought we would come and give you another try and was worth the visit. .. great service by a pleasant young girl.

06/11/2018: Have had quite a few takeaways from here and never been disappointed, but for the first time tonight, we ate in the restaurant with our visiting family.
18/10/2018: We booked a table at last minute and fortunately managed a table for two.

The Tea Cosy

Nettleham, West Lindsey
13/10/2018: Enjoyed a very nice lunch in newly opened Tea Cosy. Happy friendly staff and excellent panini. Will definitely visit again to sample the home made cakes on offer which we were too full to try!
