The best restaurants serving Default food in Toome Antrim North Eastern NI

Food ok though I didn't ask for spicy chicken goujons which is what I got Service terrible waited almost 30 mins from ordering, when I asked where was my order the woman made excuses like "we've telephone orders too" very cheeky when she could have been more apologetic In future I will give this place a miss, not be there ever again

Went to twisters yesterday had a delicious carry outside, food was excellent & well priced, premises very clean, friendly staff throughly enjoyed meal, definitely dine here again

Nice fish but not too many chips. Still cost £9.

At a beautiful wedding this week held in the Magheramorne Estate, I was fortunate to enjoy the most amazing meal. It was beyond restaurant standard, simply superb, full of imagination and flavour. There was a hint of what was to come from the delicious canapés, homemade nachos and creamy hummus , sweet little veggies with dips, yummy stuffed baby potatoes to name a few. The service was impeccable, speedy, professional and unobstrusive, nothing was too much trouble in looking after the guests. I could eat that dinner all over again. I would give Jane’s Kitchen hundred stars if I could!

Disappointing given that I had read excellent reviews elsewhere. Because of that we had earmarked this place for breakfast after leaving Belfast airport. The cafe itself was rather dark and dingy. Service was friendly and attentive. The menu was varied, but the full breaksfast we ordered wasn't hot on arrival at our table and the quality of the food was not all that good apart from tasty and freshly cooked eggs. The rest looked and tasted as though it had been on hot plates for a while. Average price for a full breakfast these days in Ireland. The toilets were dirty and neglected and did not look as though they had been cleaned recently. That alone was enough to give the place a wide berth in future. We would not go back, however hungry.

I asked if ther scones were fresh that morning and was told no, so ordered Toast instead. A regular occurence where they sell yesterday's scones! I politely asked what days they baked them fresh and a different member of staff said everyday. When i told her I'd been told they were yesterday's, she went to check. The 1st staff member then approached me to say I was being rude! i pointed out that they shouldn't really be selling yesterdays scones - unless they were half-price. I was told I was again being rude. telling them how to run their business, that it was a community business! With such an attitude to customers, I'll avoid in future.
