The best restaurants serving Default food in Letchworth South West North Hertfordshire East of England

If I could give zero stars, I would. Calling this place Italian is an insult to Italy. They served cotoletta with pasta on the side, because apparently, culinary crimes are on the menu. Mediocre quality and truly awful taste. Avoid if you have taste buds!!

Great place to have a nice meal or a breakfast. Lovely, welcoming staff and nicely decorated inside.

I visited on a Saturday night, they managed to fit us in with no problem (table of 2). We were seen to straight away and ordered our drinks and some poppadom's. However it then took a while to order our mains due to a huge influx of reservations, 16 people across 3 or 4 tables! When the waiter came back to take our mains order he was very apologetic. Indian Royal seems like a very friendly restaurant in that if we lived in Letchworth, we would want this to be our local Indian, several customers seemed to be on first name terms with all the staff! The food was top notch, the service as mentioned above, was great and the prices were very reasonable. Around £40 for 2 mains, 2 naan, 1 rice, 4 poppadom's and drinks. (May 2025)

Absolutely best Chinese around, been ordering for years. Very very reliable on quality and taste! I can’t remember ever having a bad meal to be honest

Best Letchworth Bakers Best bakers in Letchworth and lovely staff. They serve the best Chelsea Buns ever and have not found any other bakers that sell them like this Date of visit: October 2020

Friendly service and the toasties are nice. Mike shakes aren’t worth the money / aren’t quite mixed right but the mocha was delicious. Worth a try

Great food, great timing, just need slightly bigger portions (more meat in the curry!)

Nice and clean hotel with a comfortable atmosphere. The access to the pool and sauna was a great bonus and made the stay more relaxing. That said, it doesn’t quite feel like a 4-star hotel—some of the facilities and service could use a refresh to match that level. Still, an overall pleasant stay.

Made a repeat visit, great fish and chips, very fresh. Friendly, helpful staff, and great value for money. Will continue to be my regular fish and chip shop

Would give a better rating but the toilets were absolutely filthy, in a way that they clearly haven't been cleaned in some time... Cant be doing toilet checks or staff must simply be neglecting them when they are... Thick with a dust that takes more than a few days, very dirty walls & sink, gross toilet and floor and it smelt very odd in ther and the hallway ... The lady who was in there before me came out and warned me it wasnt very clean and she wasn't wrong... Very off putting and makes you wonder about the rest to be honest. Relieved to have only had a drink beforehand.

It's a spoons, cheap beer, cheep food, cheap people. Drug deals are usually done outside the back door looking at the amount of activity. Food and drink are very cheap.

Mobile phone signal non existent, WiFi doesn't work. So impossible to use the app here. Staff fine but yeah not great this costa.
