The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

This is my new ‘go to’ Chinese takeaway in Chandler’s Ford. The food is tasty, piping hot and flavoursome. Not had a bad meal and have been using for several months. The China Wok is in the Precinct and should not be confused with “The New China Wok” in Bournemouth Road

Over half an hour late delivery couldn't get in contact with the store none of the numbers would work/ was hung up on immediately

I made an order at 8pm on a monday and it took 2.5 hours to be delivered. The food was warm and tasted okay but not the best i’ve ever had and definitely not worth a 2 and a half hour wait. The staff member on the phone however was nice and apologised but overall wouldn’t order from here again.

Lovely Sunday lunch was had by all. Pleasant staff serving us which was a bonus.

I made the mistake of not reading the reviews before buying. The food was horrid, the Noodles was dry, had no flavour and little amouhts of chicken and I only found one prawn. The firecracker was chewy and I could not finish any of my food and I could not get a refund. Stay clear of this horrible place...

Good food, nice staff, will definitely come again!

The reviews make this take away dubious but we have been going for years and the food is lovely. It may depend on what you order. We often get the black bean sauce and chow main dishes and they are the nicest ones around. Definitely worth a try!

My favourite Chinese takeaway ever! The food is beautiful. Especially the spicy chips and wings (salt and pepper). The people are lovely and friendly and helpful and you get free things when u spend over certain amounts aswell and they re very prompt cooking too.

Albee on the desk is very friendly she is a credit of the company really lovely lady come back again

AWFUL. DO NOT ORDER. I ordered £37 worth of food and look at the vegetables that I ordered. Bland, disgusting slop. This places food is not worth it just get pawpaw. And to top it all off the customer service was TERRIBLE I was on the phone for half an hour and the “best” the manager could do was a 10£ refund… Waste of time and money. NEVER order here. definitely soon to go out of business.

Prawn toast was very fatty. Salt and pepper items just had salt and black pepper on them, no Chinese seasoning what so ever.

Just had a very disappointing take away from lung wah. Very bland and tasteless chow mein. Also bland beef in black bean sauce. Curry sauce not very good either. Shame because used to be good years ago. New management aswell. Very poor.

Really nice food, would have likd a little more sauce. A good lunchtime takeaway!
