The best Chinese take away in Barry

Ordered 8pm took my order over card took my money never delivered the food. Absolute joke of an outfit called 45 times got no answer!!! Picture attached

Best egg fried rice I’ve ever had, my partner highly rated the salt and pepper chicken. Would re-order.

Looking at the last review 7 months ago, what went wrong ? Awful food. barely warm and what they called "spare ribs" bore no resemblance whatever to actual spare ribs. They over charged my daughter because they couldn't be bothered to update their 3 years out of date website. I will not be recommending you to anyone!

Came here following great reviews and what a waste of time and money. Chips were clearly frozen oven chips that had been fried. Batter on chicken was almost burnt on the outside and uncooked on inside. Sweet and sour sauce was watery, sticky and disgusting. Fried rice wasn't too bad, hence one point given! All chicken pieces seemed like reformed chewy lumps. Stay away and save your money

Still my favourite Chinese restaurant after 18 years. The food is beautifully cooked and presented and we are always greeted warmly by the owner. I think I've had the prawns in butter sauce every time I've been because it's the best thing I've ever tasted. Please don't ever stop doing it because I've never seen it anywhere else! I also recommend the soft shell crab and beef and cashew. Thank you for a lovely evening celebrating my son's birthday.

The food was so greasy, the chicken balls and sweet and sour sauce somehow tasted bland. I was throwing it all back up later that night as it left me feeling so sick. I would be wary of this place

Excellent quality and great price.

My fav Chinese! Staff are always lovely. Great menu for vegetarians (salt and chilli tofu is 🔥) and my friends always rave about their non veggie choices. Good portions, reasonable price, quick delivery. Cash only can be inconvenient but it's defo worth it!

Lovely little restaurant and takeaway, only us sitting in which suited us fine and the service was excellent. Really enjoyed the fillet steak sizzler with black bean sauce, nice to have something a bit different for a Chinese. Will be back and will be using the takeaway too!

Daughter picked up family get together meal from shop got it home got rib combo omg no rib just knuckle /fat disguised in batter then to top it off disguised in sauces which tasted like candy Crispy chilli chicken chicken again disguised in batter and looked discoloured Special curry two tiny king prawn size of a cockle half a box of mushrooms and onions Bloated chicken and beef slice rack and a piece of charsui which was just fat and a portion of chips which were the only thing edible Called them back and has offered rib combination refund Strongly advice if you staying or visiting Wem and surrounding accommodation eg caravan parks swerve this place definitely be using the wems kitchen opposite as informed been there for years all the locals go there

Absolutely delicious food with generous portions! The Kung Pao Chicken was full of authentic flavor—just like real Chinese home cooking. Delivery was fast and the food arrived hot and fresh. Friendly service and great value for money. Highly recommend this place to anyone craving proper Chinese food!
