Lovely meal again. This restaurant never disappoints. Great food at very reasonable prices - served promptly by lovely staff. Good sized portions, lots of choices. In particular the Bistro Stir Fry with chicken & prawns was amazing! Also enjoyed was the homemade Lasagne, Chicken & Mushroom Stroganoff & massive battered haddock! Sublime Sticky toffee with lots of lovely sauce. Well worth a visit- highly recommend.

Stayed nearby on holiday, visited twice for breakfast and lunch, brilliant, Stornaway black pudding with poached egg - 5 stars who ever introduced it into the menu! We also were impressed with the shop, all stock is local and quality, Finzean Honey is one of the best I tried in my life, and I tried a lot as my father was a beer keeper.

Been several times to the Fife and it never, ever disappoints. From a warm welcome by the lovely staff, lovely setting to eat and drink to fabulous food! The owners are very humble and down to earth with a real passion for the service they deliver! It’s all to easy to complain about negative experiences but for us, The Fife, ALWAYS DELIVERS… Well worth a stop before all others in this area.

Reviewed this place positively well over a year ago and - if anything - it is even better. Customers were queueing out the door and along the pavement. The staff, though very busy, seem to juggle every task with good nature and fun. Kelly, in particular, is amazing. The food is always fresh, hot and tasty. Just a pity it's not open 7 days, but then, everybody is entitled to time off and this is quality, not quantity. The home baking is in a class of its own.

We stopped by The Coffee Apothecary in Pitmedden for lunch today. It was our first time visiting and it was a delightful experience. I ordered the savoury pancakes, which came with bacon, eggs, and maple syrup. The combination was delicious - everything was cooked to perfection and beautifully balanced. To go with it, I had an Earl Grey tea served in a lovely blue willow china cup. The tea arrived loose leaf in a pot with a removable filter, which added a nice touch of ceremony to the experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a cold winter day, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. Overall, a great spot for lunch with a cozy, welcoming vibe. Highly recommend!

Two meals in same week. First was fine but elevated by enthusiastic young waiter, second was marred by incredibly disinterested staff (middle aged women and I’m one so I feel free to say that). Had to ask for tap water and they only brought 1 glass, my husband missed out. My bad, I won’t try a third time!
