The best restaurants in Wales

We enjoyed thoroughly after experiencing tasteless food at The Massala Village a day before. The interior is marvellous and appealing. We ordered multiple dishes for 18 people which took time however the food was appreciated by everyone including children’s and the presentation was brilliant. They were reasonably priced too and very close to how Indian dishes are cooked. So, must try if you have stayed in Rhyl and not tried it. The staffs were professional and treated us well. Some lamb dishes were unavailable because of the quantity we ordered however they suggested alternatives which were equally good. Appreciate their effort to keep up to the name of the restaurant. Will love to visit again when we’re in Rhyl and hope we will be welcomed the way we have been unlike Massala Village.

Lovely place for the family, the only problem we found was flies upstairs in the bedroom windows that got out when they were used, we killed over 70 on the first night! Also the radiators desperately need bleeding.

Coffee, cakes, quiche and couture! This charming , well, I don't know what to call it! It's a coffee shop that does delicious cakes, scrumptious breakfasts, wonderful brunches or light lunches, in a charming environment, indoors and out, with excellent service. But it's also an amazing ladies' dress shop, dresses meaning also trousers, tops, skirts, both formal and smart-casual. Very smart! The food is great, the waitresses lovely, the shop is so tempting... All in the beautiful Welsh countryside between Denbigh and Ruthin, with a nice big carpark. Don't forget your credit card when you go, the clothes are irresistible! .

Had two delicious beef Sunday roasts cooked to perfection!! Really soft beef and lots of it, melt in the mouth Yorkshire pudding and roasties super crispy on the outside but super soft on the inside. Good mix of veg too cooked perfectly and pickled cabbage was just right. We also had a lush chocolate brownie sundae. Atmosphere and staff are lovely, with a really cosy interior with lots of cute finishing touches. Will definitely be returning!

A delicious meal! Such friendly service and the food was excellent We shared an antipasti board, mozzarella, prawns and meatballs All of the food was really fresh, tasty and great portion sizes

Awful tea. Someday they will make tea that they are supposed to make but someday they are like chuck it let's make it awful.

Amazing food for amazing prices. Sam in particular was extremely welcoming and friendly.

The staff you interact with are lovely, but the management is a combination of lazy and incompetent. The staff isn’t paid properly for the hours they work, and management does nothing to curtail the harassment they receive at times.

Second visit to Laguna Kitchen and bar. First visit we found service to be slow, but the restaurant was full and very busy. This time we went earlier as it was a pre theatre meal. The restaurant only had 5 tables full, but yet again the service particularly the drinks service was painfully slow. 20 mins before we had our first drinks and this was only after I had to ask where our drinks were, I also had to get the waiter's attention later on for more drinks. Starters had Scallops, Pate`,Goats cheese and beetroot. A good portion of Pate` with chutney but why scrimp on the toast? There was only enough for half the Pate` Main courses we had Pork belly, and the Steak. Both good but there was no crackling with the pork belly. Dessert Chocolate Fondant was delicious but why have caramel ice cream? This was too sweet, a vanilla or clotted cream ice cream would cut through the richness of the Fondant so much better.

Nice meal. Not spectacular but well worth the money. I would definitely go back

Best Indian in Newport by a country mile! I've tried various places all over but since using Paprika I've not gone anywhere else since ... The curries are amazing, the chicken pakoras are the best I've ever had and the fresh naan's are just beautiful. I could eat from here everyday ...

Service with a smile, and I would highly recommend to anyone passing through the city centre. Great quality food & very good prices... Looking forward to my next visit with so much to choose from.. Knowing its a family run business makes it that more satisfying paying for the goods!

Have just eaten at Dylan's. Lovely restaurant in a beautiful setting. I had a pizza my wife had Lasagne. My pizza was lovely fair play and would have again. 1 slight gripe I asked for extra chilli and was told yes no problem. Wasn't until we received the bill that I noticed I'd been charged £2.50 for this. Seems an awful lot for some extra chilli. This wasn't explained when I ordered . There we are I suppose we live and learn. Would have been very easy for the staff to mention this when ordering. Maybe something for Dylan's to consider in the future

Ibanez was an amazing waiter. Warm and friendly! Food was amazing too. Especially recommended the fish tacos and classic magerita. Their attention to allergies and dietary preferences are top tier. Brilliant service! Needless to say, I'm a repeat customer.
