The best restaurants in Overton Wrexham North Wales

Moved back to Whitchurch recently thought we would give it a try, Well driving up the drive we wasn't sure it was open no lights on the long driveway The table we sat at needed wiping the waitress didn't even notice it I had the burger which I must admit it was really really nice and at 13 quid was very reasonable My wife had the salmon which was a massive let down nearly 17 quid a small piece of salmon with potatoes and veg (which was about 5 pieces of broccoli and nothing else ) As for the drinks very expensive

Very disappointed advised when we arrived they no longer served food nothing about this on any website. Also choice of Joules ales very limited

Booked evening meal for a family get together. Having read previous reviews in regards quality of food served at the Hanmer Arms I decided to book. Biggest mistake was relying on these reviews. Ordered a chicken curry by everyone in the party which was of poor quality as it was not a curry but chicken in a black bean sauce. Will not be returning to this place anytime soon. Not Recommended.
