The best restaurants in Anderston / City Glasgow City Glasgow and Surrounding

We were staying at a hotel on the same street. Stopped in for a pint and when we saw tables nearby getting their food we couldn’t resist, it all looked to good. Pizza and macaroni were both really tasty. The pizza is thin and authentic. Not your average pub pizza. We shared the pizza and macaroni between two along with 3 of the small plates for £16. The small plates are so generous I think we could have just had those to be honest but they boxed our leftovers and we took it away for later. Great value for money. So glad we popped in.

This place is not have disabled access despite having accessible toilets. In 2024, establishments should do better to provide an experience for all. Edit: After receiving a response, I have learned that there is access. I approached the barman at the time and was told explicitly that there was no disabled access so perhaps a bit of training of the staff is required. Maybe next time I'll have better luck!

Asked for vodka was given doubles when not asked iif this what we wanted. £8 difference in price.

What a lovely cafe. An oasis of peace and quiet so close to bustling Central Station. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Lunch time service was efficient. Food was lovely.

This school is an absolute must for every piper. Great location. Great restaurant and the associated hotel is really nice. The teachers are great and can teach things really well, which works really well even if you're not entirely confident in English. You can feel the passion for the music. It's very familiar, I can recommend it to everyone.

Never been here before and I thought overall it was pretty good. I've been lucky to have eaten a lot of Tapas style food in Spain over the years and having recently eaten at Rioja also in Glasgow I was tempering my enthusiasm (Rioja is very good)So Friday night, not that busy but food was good. I'm not that keen on Paprika and I found that to be used a fair bit, beef quality could have been better. However wine was fantastic, and price I'm not kidding was half that of Rioja3* Average is maybe a bit harsh, I would go back and for £15 a head for food the value cannot be beaten.

Had a large Donna here after a gig and have to say it was probably one of the best tasting kebabs I've ever had , will defonbe heading back there after gigs at the garage ...... outstanding and I wasn't even drunk . Really friendly guy as well serving

Tables are covered by sticky stain. — Decor is great but food in small portions. A meal takes about £15.

An excellent place to enjoy Italian sandwiches with variety of choices. Food is delicious. Services are exceptional. Dining tables are clean. The hosts are very receptive and warm welcoming. Truly, my family and I have enjoyed our visit.

I hadn't been here before, but my friend that suggested we meet here definitely understood the assignment! As soon as I saw pride and Antifa flags, and punks hangout smoking, I new I was going to like the vibe. Great staff, good food, great prices!

I have been here twice with my family, for lunch and for dinner and both on a weekend. The atmosphere is great and the food is amazing. The service is always spot on and there was no issues with having a few pieces of luggage and a pram / baby with us. Would recommend making a reservation, as it can get busy. Will definitely keep coming back!
