The best restaurants in Fife Central Scotland

Visited on Saturday night for a birthday treat. As always the food was amazing, couldn't finish it all and it was no problem to have it boxed up to take home. The waiter Jack was a delight, attentive and also very funny. Will definitely be back!

This is really a completely outdated hotel, the price is extremely high for what you get, more than €350 for a room, supposedly a junior suite, without air conditioning, without any luxury, old worn out furniture, the door on the terrace did not close, paper walls, no sound insulation whatsoever, the neighbors could understand what was going on. they said in the other rooms terrace dirty and broken planks. Just scammers because there is a golf course nearby, they use extremely high prices for very low quality, avoid this hotel

Old fashioned man's pub but good friendly service and reasonable 😉

Good choice of food available. Good views out the windows of the sea while you eat.And most important dog friendly.Car parks near by beside the beach. Good walks for dogs .

Had the carvery last Sunday. Very generous portions of meat! The sides were nice but the veg wasn't very warm and went cold quickly. Despite this I would recommend. Good atmosphere, nice staff and very reasonable prices for the portion size. Would have given a higher rating if veg was warmer.

Got a fish supper. The chips were very good but the fish certainly wasn't cod or haddock. The fish was solid like cheap fish fingers. Never to be repeated.

Gravy is tasteless. Drinks part of order were not delivered. Not noticed till delivery guy was away

First time trying, is there normally supposed to be hair in the food? Definitely won't be ordering again, very off putting

Well it was as I expected. note I sent. I wanted a a real Chinese meal told them up front if I got chopped up chicken in gravy I'd make it ma self. Also told you If it happens again I'd never ordered from you again. Well you don't give a.. So same here never ordering again.

Great food and service but the waiting area could do with a bit of modernization

As I went to order I noticed the servers couldn't seem more miserable. I looked at the menu and found everything was labelled with cheese which is already a massive turn off as I suffer from a dairy allergy. I asked if I could have a toastie without cheese and made it clear I wanted zero cheese. They said that was fine so I was satisfied. I assumed since they didn't ask about allergies that the toastie I had wouldn't have any risks but when it arrived it was smothered in pesto which I had never had before but was interested to try. I had a couple of bites and immediately I could taste a strange texture so I looked it up and found pesto had parmesan in it. Luckily I didn't have any major reaction however this is just extremely poor and lazy service, the place wasn't busy and to not be checking about allergies especially when someone makes it clear they do not want a certain food is ridiculous. I won't be back and they are lucky I don't take this further.

Family restaurant and staff are always so keen to help. The most delicious curries I've ever had in my life and if you love a garlic naan bread then you want to be here 😍
