Beef lately got a bit tough,I am OK but wife says chewy,I have to agree was lovely and tender in the beef curry not now.need to go back to the way you use to prepare it.

Excellent customer service and food is always spot on and speedy delivery have ordered many times always our goto chippy as they have everything our children like plenty of selection for the adults

Found this cafe by accident when I was had gone to visit one across the street which was closed when I got there. This is a home bakery with a cafe up a few steps at back of shop. I had a latte and a coconut pink éclair type donut. I got some cheese and bacon sodas to take away also. The place is spotless and the staff super friendly. They do a limited lunch menu and stay open until 5.30pm which is good. Priced fairly. I will be going again for something.

We came to this restaurant with our tour group for an afternoon tea. My husband has a peanut allergy and he asked the staff if any of the food we would be served had peanuts. The waitress told us that nothing they were serving had peanuts in it, so we were very happy. They had a spread of scones, sandwiches, and desserts. Nothing had labels on it so we took whatever looked good. My husband bit into a dessert and instantly realized it was a peanut butter rice krispie treat. Thankfully he spit it out when he realized so he did not have an anaphylactic reaction. When we spoke to management again the manager completely dismissed us saying that the tour group should have given them 24 hours notice of the allergy. However we had asked if anything had peanuts in it so we could avoid it and they blatantly left out that a dessert was made with peanut butter. Do not go here if you have an allergy, they do not care.

Very poor dining experience. Don't think I have ever left a negative review of a restaurant before. Came home and specifically set up an account so I could write this review. I ordered a dish and got something that had a similar name but was very different. Initially I wondered if I had made the mistake. However it was definitely the restaurants fault, as what I had ordered was on the receipt. Initially when I was paying the staff member refused to acknowledge the mistake. I returned to the restaurant and they did admit it was their mistake. They apologised then. I expected to get something off or some recompense, as the food I received would not have been something I would ever have ordered. A very disappointing dining experience. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely delicious food. Order correct, on time and food hot.

Food was unpleasant. Definitely reheated not at all fresh and was expensive considering it was just bar food. The food itself tasted okay but was noticeably reheated. Staff we're more interested in talking to each other and on their phones. It took 45 minutes to get a pint after ordering and it wasn't busy at all. Good range of choice on the menu. It's popular in the area and I can't understand why.

Went in to get a takeaway coffee. The barista who looked about in her early 30s with brown hair was making my coffee. As looking up I see her talking to her colleague and turning around to me as if she was talking about me and the person I was with and making it obvious that was in fact what she was doing. She then proceeded to make the rest of my coffee to which she grabs a bottle of sugared syrup which I asked for sugar free due to medical reasons. On collecting the coffee I asked her if it was definitely sugar free and she gave me the dirtiest look and just said “yep” she then grabbed a bottle to her left which was definitely not the bottle she used for my coffee and said “you see”. I then proceeded to say “thank you” and she completely ignored me and stormed away. I couldn’t even enjoy my coffee because she did in fact use a full sugar syrup and lied to me which then due to medical reasons I had to leave work as I fell ill after consuming. Probably one of the most ignorant, hostile baristas I have ever came across. Unfortunately she’s been employed there for a while and has always been like this which is unfortunate as the rest of the staff have always been lovely. Such a shame.

Food always tastes great! The chicken burgers are exceptional. My daughter loves the super sauce you provide and always lots of it. The girls in the shop upfront are always well mannered and kind.

Ordered a delivery yesterday over the phone fish supper with curry sauce. Never arrived been calling all day was told 3 hours ago I would be called by a manager in an hour. Once the hour passed I've been calling both numbers and it just rings out, convenient eh. Wouldn't shop here unless you want a quick chip or something

A really lovely place to grab a breakfast, thankfully the vegetarian option is unreal! It's one of the best vegetarian breakfasts I've ever had, definitely recommend eating here.

Literally the best brunch I've ever had omg

Popular local chippy. Cold drinks dispenser, toilets and free on street parking. Sit in or takeaway. Food here has improved lately. Pleasingly fish is dipped in fresh batter before deep frying giving a lite crispy finish. Other similar establishments annoyingly reheat already battered fish, so well done "The Galley".

The flat white was great. Had the lemon blueberry bread and it didn’t particularly wow me. The atmosphere of the place is really nice to sit and relax while you enjoy your beverage or treat.
