BEWARE! This place usually has good standards and food quality and I’ve bought In person usually but today I ordered via Uber eats using a discount code - food arrived promptly but I found Korean hair in my food! It was long straight and black so it’s definitely from one of the kitchen staff! Hair is unhygienic and carries bacteria etc I dunno if this was a mistake but I was utterly disappointed!!! And had to bin the whole meal! The staff do not wear hairnets In the kitchen area of restaurant so this could happen to anyone! Bad experience I dunno if I’ll order from here again sad times!

Very nice, friendly service, helpful and nothing too much trouble. Homemade quiche, hot sausage rolls, lovely.

Had the most amazing steak here for lunch cooked exactly how I like it. Full of flavour and all fresh cooked to order. Wheelchair accessible too. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Wow! This is such a totally amazing place! Their predecessor on this spot, Daily Bread, was the best place to eat in Whetstone and BlueBox has now taken that mantle on, even though each of them have / had a completely different brilliant fusion cuisine. There is so much for vegetarians and vegans at Blue! The food comes in very generous portions. There is an imaginative mixture of various different Oriental cuisines and English and North American cooking too. Even if you go for the most everyday thing, like porridge (called "Oatmeal" here) or egg mayonnaise sandwiches, she somehow manages to make it taste like the most scrumptious delicacy you've ever tried - I don't know how she does it! The owner always shows great warmth, enthusiasm and empathy. She even has a special deal not just with a loyalty card but with an offer to give your place a tidy-up free of charge (you usually have to spend a lot on that) if you spend a certain amount there.

Stunning evening at the cafe de twine, this was our second time visiting and it didn't fail to impress yet again. Whilst we wasnt aware that late night music was on offer, the owner (Daniel Twine) bringing out his saxophone and dazzling us with his virtuoso performance really was the icing on the cake to round off the perfect night. Can't wait to come back!

Food and drink are fine, but the owner was quite insulting be insinuating that my working line dog was “quite skinny” and suggestively asked if she was a rescue before even asking anything else. The staff who served me were very polite however.

We absolutely loved the place, and went there three days in a row! We had great english breakfasts - as well as a vegetarian one. Delicious. An active café with locals. We enjoyed the location and the friendliness of the people as much as the food. Would have gone even more often, but the stay came to an end. We will be back!

We chose here after reading great reviews on the way home from Weetwood Hall. The outside seating area was full as was the inside table. Such a popular place quite clearly! Had a little buzz about the place. Further seating downstairs but we were taking away so didn't see it. Great prices and a great menu. At last someone that cooks mushrooms to perfection! Great place, lovely friendly staff. We will definitely be back when in the area again.
