Lovely visit on a Tuesday evening with friends. Dishes on the new menu were delicious- we all had the lamb flatbread and loved it. Service was also good as always. Will be back again soon.

Visited for lunch, a quiet friendly village place

Walking by the canal, we passed this stunning restaurant, decided right there and then to have dinner with my family. I had the mussels in tomato sauce which was divine as my antipasti, on the chef’s special. My mains was really scrumptious lobster ravioli in creamy lobster bisque sauce with baby shrimps. My hubby chose the Paccheri Al ragu and my son had spaghetti bolognese. All very delicious and hearty family dinner with bruschetta and tomato pizza bread for their starter. Nano and Lee are very nice, courteous and attentive. All the staff are really, really pleasant. I would recommend it for special lunch and dinner out and for a relaxing meals with friends and family.

Best curry in hazel grove a little more on the expensive side if you eat in but tasty food.

Great communication prior to the reservation and the preorder of all food enabled a very efficient service, which was a welcomed bonus with four hungry children. The decor was fab, and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. The food was truly delicious.

Lovely food, I had the Advacado & Prawn salad Huffer, it was delicious 😋 Lots of choices on the menu. Great selection of well looked after real ales. Excellent friendly service. Lovely beer garden. All set in a beautiful countryside location. Would most definitely recommend a visit 👍 What more can I say ☺️

The Guardhouse is consistently impressive and scores highly on all areas. The friendly welcome, the attentive service, the cleanliness and the delicious and varied menu make for an enjoyable experience every time.

The best! Always just so good every time you go there. Delicious, imaginative food, great variety and knowledgable staff serving. Fabulous location, good prices, if you don’t want to go to a pub this is the best food around to eat on the hillside next to it or down on the beach.

Went here yesterday for daughters 13th birthday. The service, food and staff are amazing. Really made her birthday so special. Huge thank you to all the staff who were so lovely, kind and brilliant customer service. The food was exceptional and can't wait to book again.

A sign on the street drew us to go upstairs and we arrived at a wonderful restaurant, starting from the design through the service and finally the food. The menu, which combines Italian and Caribbean food, was particularly intriguing. The dishes we chose were very tasty and quite large. We ate everything!! And we will come again. Highly recommended.
