The best restaurants in Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

Ordered a delivered meal whilst on a break in Scarborough and it has to be said, one of our best Indian meals of all time, the Pickle tray super tasty with choice of flavoured or plain poppadoms, garlic chilli chicken main with pilau rice was awesome and their peshwari nan bread was simply the best we have ever had, was mango infused which made such a difference . This place is well worth a try, the delivery driver very friendly and on time, food piping hot, Very impressive. Will deffo order again when next in Scarborough. "Thankyou" to all at Indian Taj

Great place for meeting friends Lively and fun, Good variety of drinks, Nice snacks. Owners were lovely and we felt very welcome. Dj was fun and played some great tunes. Everyone was friendly and we had a wonderful night.

Highly recommend this place! Not only was the service excellent but the food was 10/10….food was made fresh and portion size was great. Will definitely be coming back soon. Ordered the mixed kebab and it was delicious :)

We had our gender reveal here. Everyone absolutely loved it. The venue was beautiful and there was plenty of space for everyone, the food and decorations etc. When we needed extra time, Lydia was more than happy to accommodate us. Thanks so much and we will be back again 😊😊😊😊

This place serves the best fish & chips in whitby, if you are visiting the area you can't go wrong eating here, it is a busy restaraunt so pre booking is advised, the staff are very polite

Had a very unfriendly atmosphere. Not dog friendly. Not offered a receipt for drinks, quick to take money, quick to pressurise you to buy more drinks. Just weird and uncomfortable, glad to get out!

Good food, good value, just what we needed!

Nos recibieron en la puerta y nos explicaron cómo pedir y nos mostraron los especiales, etc. Encuentra una mesa y ordena en el mostrador. El restaurante está diseñado como una cantina tradicional de estilo antiguo. Hay un montón para elegir en el menú y la comida es increíble. Está por una calle lateral de la zona principal, así que asegúrate de buscarlo.

My wife, our son, his girlfriend and our dog were visiting Filey on a day trip whilst staying in Whitby and hunted high and low for somewhere dog friendly and found The Cobble. Upon entering we were greeted by very friendly staff, who set the tone for our visit. The service remained friendly and very prompt too and the food was excellent and of decent size. My scampi was very tasty and of decent portion size with a nice helping of chips, mushy peas and tartare sauce. My wife had the chicken burger and my son and his girlfriend the burgers, of which they all commented were delicious. All were well presented too. Next time we are in Filey I will have no hesitation in returning and I cannot recommend The Cobble highly enough.
