Went for birthday with my parents and brother. The decor was very pleasant, although it was a bit dark away from the window. The server guy was friendly and polite. The food didn't come all together which meant it was hot and fresh but you didn't really eat together. The food itself was tasty and the portions just about big enough. There was a tapas style starter side of the menu and a bigger dish for main courses on the back.

My recent experiences at Westwood have been really poor. I used to love it there and it was my favourite place but the people who used to work there don’t seem to be there anymore. You can definitely see that the service has gone downhill because of it. The slim lady at the tills is extremely rude. She laughs at the customers and doesn’t know how to communicate with them. She got my order wrong twice. The last few times I’ve been, my food has taken over an hour to be served. The same lady at the tills had the nerve to serve my tea cold. You don’t serve large mugs of tea 40 minutes before the food arrives (which was the wrong order) - it gets cold within seconds. It’s absolutely shocking. I will not be returning and I will definitely tell all my friends about this too. I have an instagram page dedicated to food and I will be letting people know not to go there again.

Nice old style pub with some decent ale and efficient and friendly staff. Very busy with locals on cup final day but still managed to serve us tourists promptly and with a smile. Nice outdoor area and good value. Recommended.

First time visiting here for afternoon tea and it was amazing! I visited with family who are all Harry Potter fans. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and polite, the decor of the cafe is lovely (cosy, great Harry Potter vibes and nicely spaced out). The food was great, loved the little touches for both the adults and children! Would definitely recommend and return.

I thought about whether to write this it's in my village and I'd like to see local businesses thrive but if this is the standard I doubt it will be around much longer . It took an age (we collected) which is ok. There was a dish with chicken and beef mince I don't recall ordering it, proper salty. They have previous for incorrect dishes its literally a lottery when you go to plate up the order. One dish historically they've done well is the chilli chicken , alas this was poor , we had the lentil dish which reminded me of the squits. The chicken chettinand was bang average. There was a distinct lack of flavour in all the dishes I don't usually order a tikka massala and wish I hadn't the sauce was runny like a soup. The chicken tikka was ok there was little paneer as advertised. On a positive note the containers were good quality and we left most of it so I don't feel guilty for over eating . Sort the chefs out ASAP ...

First visit here but it won’t be the last. Food was excellent good portions great taste and served beautifully we had faggots, burgers and fish n chips all enjoyed finishing off with some desserts. Front of house staff very attentive and great selection of drinks. Unfortunately we were so full we didn’t get time for a game of pool but will do on our next visit and perhaps an overnight stay too.

Foleys oatcakes are the best I've tried from anywhere in Stoke on Trent. I am from Derby however used to be in Stoke a lot and totally fell in love with oatcakes, so much so that I used to have them most days..bad I know. I've had them from multiple places however non quite match up to these treats. Even something as simple as bacon and cheese in them are beautiful but please add items to your own preference.
