Great night at the restaurant with family. It was perfect from start too finish. The staff were great . The food was lovely. I must book in next time as had too have two tables too get the 5 of us in which was the only downfall of it. 💗

This is a regular restaurant where we visit...food is always fantastic staff are brilliant and super friendly.. and such a reasonable price first family of 4.

Popped in for a quick drink after a local walk. Guinness was good. However a quiet drink was ruined by the loud mouthed swearing barmaid

Update to original review: we are so sad that this amazing venue appears to have closed? It was a place that deserved to thrive and enjoy great success. We were really looking forward to returning when next in the area 😔 …………………. Complete hidden gem, only a short drive from Harbury Fields caravan park. We enjoyed the relaxing ambiance, the well-chosen music and the Cold River cider .. so much that we came back twice while still in the area. Thank you Hillbilly’s .. we have thoroughly enjoyed our delicious food, we will return and we will be recommending to others.

If ever you can fall in love with a pub this is it! After visiting for the first time on Saturday for drinks we had to come back on the Sunday for the roast dinner and it did not disappoint 10/10. The pub has so much history and character whilst offering amazing local food and drinks. The staff are very welcoming and gave us a talk and guide of the hundreds and hundreds of years of history and tales! And the fire - wow.

Cracking buttie, decent cuppa and friendly service! Lovely walks over the chase right next to the café, also plenty of parking nearby. Will try the full English next time I visit!

Had a delicious Sunday roast, lots of vegetables plenty of meat, great value for money.
