Ordered a takeaway with my partner through one of the apps and the food did not arrive but they took the money! Tried to call the place but unable to get through. Avoid avoid avoid.

Fist time visiting this great community bar, landlord & lady were very friendly & welcoming. Very hospitable. Would definitely recommend

Used this place many times with no issues. Called in tonight and watched 3 staff argue and shout at each other for 5 minutes. Then gave up and left. Hence one star, I ate nothing, how can it he higher? My custom should not inconvenience their night.

Visited Atalanta for a change when out with friends. So glad we did! The service from a lovely lady (sorry didn’t get her name) was excellent. Friendly and so helpful. Bought out dips to start with delicious hot bread 😋. Then we had the sharing platter with a portion of chips delicious! Too much to eat so bought some home with us. We were given fresh homemade Baklava which was amazing! It was just like being in Turkey on holiday, fabulous! Would definitely recommend.

Pedigree is extremely good in the Red Lion. Plenty of bar snacks and always good music in the background.

Despite one review suggesting you go elsewhere, Papa Johns is and always has been the best pizza place in Burton on Trent. I have used them many, many times and never had a problem. Hot tasty pizza, what else would you need?

Thrilled with my experience dining here tonight, loved the enthusiasm from Yasmine, amazing food and restaurant temperature was just right after shopping in the rain!

Went to this place for my daughters 5th birthday dinner. Staff decorated the area so well and left quiet alot of thing on the table like goddy bags balloons etc. Service was spot on from all the staff including the sweet girl who served us. 100% recommending and coming back. Just call and tell them I'm advance about the occasion and they go above and beyond to make it special xxx

I have orderd since 7 years. It was good all time. Today I ordered 3 Masala fishes. It's raw fish. Only outside cookes. Difference taste. But we tryed to eat. I felt vomit. We threw all 3 fishes. Just lost 18£, I will never order again.

We have left 1 star rating as we are unable to leave none . We went to the waterfront this morning for breakfast as we do regularly, the quality has been hit or miss throughout we have never complained because it is reflected in the price . Today we requested a breeze hut as we had our dog with us , we were told to go into hut 1 . As we proceeded to go to hut 1 a member of staff moved us to hut 2 , I mentioned twice to let staff inside know as our order was for hut 1 and she assured me she would do so . After a very lengthy wait our drinks and food had gone to hut 1 ????? No heartfelt apology was made to us despite the staff member by her own admission said she hadn’t told staff about the move of huts . We were on a time restriction due to a hospital appointment in Leicester, so couldn’t wait any longer . Another lengthy wait at the till for a refund because she couldn’t operate the till . Attitude of staff the really DIDNT CARE ! Won’t be returning

Ordered 3 times and had missing items every time. Gave the benefit of doubt the first 2 times but how do you get it wrong 3 times in a row, every time missing the most expensive item on the order… will not order again awful service

Had no food just drinks great pub

Service was slow, considering it was only Friday when I visited. I also overheard two other customers enquire why their orders were taking so long. Isn't it strange how three completely separate parties thought the service was a little sluggish? Food was OK.

The Tavern in Denstone is a fabulous local pub, just down the road from Alton Towers. We are fortunate to live fairly close by and the Tavern is definitely our pub of choice, always guaranteed service with a smile. We never fail to have a good 'early doors' night out which almost always ends up with last orders! Special mention to Max, but all the staff are wonderful and can't recommend the Tavern enough. Pay a visit and enjoy a real country pub atmosphere! Best to leave your car at home 😉
