The best restaurants in Bournemouth South West

Wow what an amazing day, we came along for Breakfast with the Easter bunny and stayed all day for the kids Easter disco, really well ran events, good priced beer and excellent value food. The place was buzzing and everyone was having a fun.

The food was not fresh and when we complained about it the staff was rude

Just watched the chef serve my pasta by hand. Three handfuls of linguine onto my plate. I asked the waiter why he was not using a serving utensil and the response was, his hands are probably clean! Two Cesar salads looked like they were straight out of Tesco bag. Waited an age between starters and mains even though we had a baby with us. Extremely poor food hygiene and mediocre service. Two bruschetta and two cedar salads and two lagers £80? Now gone somewhere to get my main. What was a nice evening has been ruined by Gossip Westbourne.

Love this little local pub. No loud music pumping out. Tend to visit later in an afternoon, so a little quieter.

Good service, we came with 2 children (one vertical tired 2 ywar old) thay brought his dinner out with our starters. Wings were really good - crispy on the outside and fell off the bone. Burgers were sooo good!!! So much flavour, juicy and fresh would definitely recommend 👌

Really like the coffee served here. Tried their new burger menu lunchtime today. Had it in a black brioche bun and it was excellent. The chips were perfect too. Staff always friendly, a great place to have lunch at a reasonable price.

Been using this shop for 12 years. Brilliant service and after leaving Bournemouth 10 years ago now order online

Really good, well-presented food, served in a really pleasant atmosphere. The main 'Hardy' dining room, is big enough for large groups and was ideal. There is a well-stocked bar and a reasonable wine-list. But, the 'Stand-out' feature, was just how helpful and accomodating, that the staff were. We had lunch and breakfast too and they were great too. Brilliant for families as well as formal functions.

Wir haben im Hotel übernachten und abends dort gegessen. Die Gerichte waren alle gut. Das Personal war freundlich. Die Aussicht ist sehr schön, die Gesamtatmosphäre hat uns aber nicht überzeugt. Für das Preisniveau noch ok. Mangels besserer Alternativen in der Umgebung würden wir trotzdem wieder kommen.

책 읽고 노트북 이용하려고 자주 들렀어요. 점심시간 이후에는 사람이 많고, 늦은 오후에는 여유로웠어요. 항상 라디오를 틀어주시는데 배경음악으로 들으면서 책을 읽거나 공부하고 노트북 이용하기에 좋았어요. 스콘 두 종류도 모두 맛있지만 블루베리와 노란 크림이 올라간 컵케익이 정말 맛있었어요.

We had a lovely meal in the Amalfi restaurant in The Chine Hotel, The grounds of the hotel are wonderful with some fantastic gardens to explore & a lovely short walk to the beach. The restaurant is decorated wonderfully & you are whisked back in time to an art deco period, with so much memorabilia of famous people who have stayed here in the past. The meal was great, there was a lot of choice & it was cooked to perfection using locally sourced fresh ingredients. The staff were helpful & friendly & this made our experience fantastic.
