The best restaurants in Hartlepool North East

First time customers here and we were scammed tonight. First curry we opened was the Chicken Korai (half full), second curry opened was the Chicken Pathia (under 3/4 full) Third curry opened Chicken Tikka Masala (half full) 2 bits of chicken in each curry = 6. And because of the lack of sauce and chicken, all the curries were dry as a bone and not enjoyable at all and not filling. Rice had no vegetables in it, just tiny bits, even though we ordered a Vegetable Pilau. Food was not hot either. Naan bread was very small. Mint sauce half full. Scrappy bit of salad. Asked for medium/hot curries for the Korai and Pathia, both tasted extremely mild. Curry powders are probably out of date that's why. Overall everything mentioned above = GREED. We would like a full refund asap and will never ever order from Dilshad Tandoori ever again. Extremely disappointed. : - (

The piece of fish I have was absolutely tender and beautifully cooked. The staff were friendly and attentive. The venue is clean and in good condition

don't know how early it was but came quick was not happy that u did not give me my garlic in a tub it was put on my wrap I had no garlic for my chips I was disappointed don't do that to people if you don't no or never been asked to do that

Always feel welcome here. The staff are very professional and hard working. Lovely meal, very efficient between courses. Good night all round.

Had poor experience last night 11/10/24 we have been afew times and enjoyed the night, but last night we waited an hour for our food and when we were served it was rushed because we were going on to somewhere else. We were going for Christmas but taking our business else where.

Pizza was absolute gorgeous.. The best I have had for a long time... The kebab meat was a little too spicy for my liking.. Also wish they done coleslaw with the salad.. I would definately order again from here... Food was hot...

Brilliant food and great service.

Would it recommend this place at all went in tonight one of the kids starters came out with a huge black hair in it than one of the adult deserts was a sticky toffee pudding which was freezing cold and the toffee on the top was like congealed jelly there was a blonde lady who was absolutely brilliant but the rest of the staff were not so good even giving it one star is being too nice I certainly will not be back

The woman serving at the bar during tea time on 21st October, Customer service skills we're diabolical so rude and stand offish, felt.like you were putting her out to do her job absolutely disgusting.

Ordered whatever 6.30 had to ring them to ask were it was nearly 2hrs late, cold had to put into microwave, payed over 20.00 pound not happy ay all, I understand that they are busy but really no need for shabby food

Took over 2 hours to come (had to phone twice) and barely had any warmth in it when it arrived. Chicken parmo was horrible and the breadcrumbs were slimy because it must’ve been sat for so long. Normally nice food but won’t be going back again.

I had been busy all day. And hadn't had nowt to eat. So searched Google for something to eat this popped up. Thought why not. Ordered large sweet sour box. Box look small on the shelf and was worried I'd still be hungry afterwards. Picked up my order. Got home and tipped it out. God there was loads more than enough for me. Would highly recommend.

Pizza just not cooked properly, the cheese hadn't melted.
