The best restaurants in Islington London

Exquisite 👌 This establishment has a special place in my heart. The building has a very interesting history, the staff are amazing and the food is worth every penny. It's where I go when I want to treat myself and my daughter. I'm not rich or particularly educated. But I feel like I could be when I'm eating there, this has to be considered fine dining at its best. Thanks you once again guys. It was perfect.

Lovely place to try Ethiopian food. The staff was very friendly and everything we tasted was delicious. Definitely recommend!

This is a quaint little place. The staff were friendly and took my order very quickly. However, they seemed to have forgotten my order, and I had to remind them 20 minutes later! But I'm okay with that, just that I was quite hungry at the time. I got a "Mediterranean wrap", which was a pitta bread filled with sliced suçuk, pieces of halloumi, and lots of salad. It was one of the tastiest things I'd had in a long time! Despite the long wait for my food, which I put it down to them having an off day, I'd definitely eat here again and I rate it very highly.

I ordered via Deliveroo on the way home. The app automatically updated the address to where I was when placing the order instead of my usual home address. I called 1 min after placing the order. No one would answer the phone. Tried contacting Deliveroo. They did nothing. Delivery cyclist called when they arrived at the wrong address and refused to come to my address because they’d have to cycle up a hill. Poor communication and terrible service. Ripped me off and left me without food.

I went here with my son, who had selected this based on reviews. The food was very good, the prices acceptable, and the staff very friendly. However, even though the restaurant was less than half full, the noise level was nearly unbearable. It's not hard to add some accosting dampening to walls and ceilings. It was hard to talk and hear during our meal.

Last dinner we had on our trip and our favorite. I am celiac and all I can say is if you have a food allergy give this place a try. Wife does not have an allergy and she thoroughly enjoyed her dinner (shepherd pot pie) as did I (chicken schnitzel). Unbelievable flavor in both dishes. Would definitely go back!

Came here a couple of times in the past month. Very good food. Friendly and efficient staff. Reasonably quick service. Most importantly, staff take allergy issues very seriously and did a great job at making me feel listened to and taken care of. Many thanks.

Great food, super tasty and generous portions. A bit expensive compared to other similar restaurants but the food is tops.

I ordered on Too Good To Go 3 hours before collection time. At the time of ordering there were 5 bags left, when I checked back to get the code there were 2 left. Collection time was 20:45, I arrived at 20:50. Once I got there I was told there was only saveloy, leek pie and cheese and onion pastry left, so I said "I'll take the saveloy please", I was handed the saveloy and expected the chips to come next, nope! I was told there's no chips left... Excuse me? You knew you sold the bags from the app and people would be arriving to collect, why the hell did you not put enough chips aside for the people you knew would be coming!? Once I expressed my annoyance I was told I would be given "free chips the following day", it's no bloody good the following day is it!?!. The surprise bag is suppose to be the value of £7, how the hell does saveloy amount to that! I ordered this for my dinner and that's what I'm handed from a CHIP SHOP! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. It was ordered well in advance for you to make sure there was enough. I will not be returning.

What a modern, relaxed gastro pub. High resturant quality food in a cozy setting. Attentive staff that are personable and funny. Marco was really thoughtful, personal and took time to make the experience special on a Wednesday night. Great mid-week deal, loved the 2 course for £20 deal! Exceptional quality 🙌 if I could give you a higher rating I would!
