The best restaurants in East of England

Love this place - 1st time there. 23 of us for my daughter's 21st and the staff were amazing - nothing was too much for them and I asked for a lot!!!! They really helped me to make this a special occasion. Food also amazing - everybody enjoyed their meal. We had a great night. Thank you to all the staff but special thanks to Otman and Claudia - you are the best!

We have been visiting various restaurants from our holiday home here over the past years but discovered this little Gem right in the centre of Yarmouth. Loverly Family run restaurant serving various dishes to suit most people but my wife loves it for the Moussaka. Great quick attentive & efficient service, comfortable private seating booths and reasonably priced. We will be returning once the Van opens next year…👍

Refurbished since we last visited. Good quality homemade food. Not the best options for Coeliac people as chips are fried in the same oil as other foods. Otherwise a very reasonable place for a meal out.

Cleone's is a great restaurant with great food and staff! Its our favourite place for a special occasion - er, or any occasion! Just wish it was a little nearer! 😀

I ofer 1 star for food becouse i order a dooley burger and was verry salty it was not good and i did not finish it.

I was at the bar 10 minutes before the kitchen closed on November 5th. We sat down and the waiters gave us the menus. They told us that we had to place our order quickly because the kitchen closes at 3:00 pm. After literally 2 minutes we were ready to order our food but they told us that it wasn't possible and there was still like 8 minutes to 3 o‘clock. We didn't think anything of it and left. I returned at 4:00 pm to get a coffee and they wouldn't even let me in. Absolutely ridiculous. I won't be back.

Think I dropped unlucky on my visit, the chips weren't fresh cooked although plentiful. The batter on the fish was thick and soggy. I'm hoping my visit wasn't typical of the usual standard . The lady behind the counter was very friendly but with the economic crisis going on people have to vote with their feet and I'm going to be more careful I'm getting value for money

I’ve just had lunch at this great pub/restaurant, and once again I was mightily impressed ! Wonderful food, great service and welcome, I really can’t fault it. There were five of us and we all really enjoyed our food. My choice was bangers & mash, probably the best I’ve ever had. The cheeseburger was to die for, the hot pot a delight, and the ham,egg & chips really good. The fish dish of cod was also superb. I’ll be back asap as food this giod needs to be eaten often !! Well done The Sword Inn Hand, you rock !!! Oh yes, the puddings were great too !

We had quite a nice evening meal. However the menus are confusing, especially soup with noodles and bits in which is a main dish. Very nice, good value

The food at the queens head is amazing. Eat here most Friday lunch times and never lets you down. Would highly recommend.

The food is excellent and the on line ordering is really easy.
