The best restaurants in Saffron Walden Castle Uttlesford East of England

I went for lunch with my Mum, brother and sister. We had excellent service from Lindsey and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend this cafe.

Excellent friendly welcome by young and attentive staff. Enjoyed fish & chips, freshly cooked and tasty. Good selection of beers and wine. Honeycombe cheesecake and ice cream dessert to die for….. First visit but highly recommended.

Quiet winter night. No draught bitter, friendly staff.

We placed an order over the phone to collect and we asked to collect at a certain time but I had to wait for over 20mins and I had to tell the women what I had ordered when she should of wrote it all down over the phone and they missed out a food order aswell so for that we won't ever order again and plus we got pork balls and not chicken balls what we ordered

Really good food, attentive and friendly staff and lovely surroundings. We have now visited three times and each was as good as the other. We highly recommend to everyone.
