My kids liked the food , but service is very poor

Stayed for valentine's night in a lovely comfortable four poster room with views over the golf course. Had a fabulous sharing meal for valentine's in the Mulberry restaurant in the evening and a very nice breakfast this morning too, food has all been 👌👌 only one thing the waitress could do with smiling a bit more this morning looked very grumpy 😠 🤦‍♀️

Great spot for some vegan ice cream/sorbet. My little boy is anaphylactic to dairy and was very cautious about eating any when he was looking at the different flavours (there were 4 for him to choose from). The lady quickly realised he was upset and got some fresh utensils out to reassure him and he gladly accepted it! It's finally nice to know we can take him somewhere and he can join in! We'll definitely be back. Thank you for making an allergy child feel included x

As far as Fish 'n Chips goes, Terrington Fish Bar is by far a classic and consistent place to go. Staff are really friendly and it's always packed (showing you just how good it is!). Chips are soft and crisp, sausages meaty, fish well battered, plus they have scraps!

This place used to be very good . Big portions , clean tasting food and good quality. However, the last few times we've had it it has been bad and the prices have gone up. They now fill the boxes up with huge chunks of almost raw vegetables and there's not as much meat and sauce as before. The ribs we've had were greasy , full of fat and cartilage with only a tiny amount of meat on . Maybe the chef has changed ? Maybe they've got greedy and cutting corners buying cheaper food ? Who knows , maybe both . Staff are always friendly though. No issue there.... We've given it a chance a few times now because it was always so good in the past , but we will now go somewhere else.

The first time I been here for chips, the majority of them were burnt and crispy, and the oil was dirty because the chips were covered in black dirt. I had to throw them. I also added my own cheese because they don't offer it.

We went Boxing Day for a walk around the shops and then to silver spoon for something to eat, I had a big breakfast and Hubbie had a builders breakfast, OMG they were lovely, you get loads and it’s very hot and excellent quality products, we love it here. Would always recommend you go to here if you want a good priced and excellent value and quality food. It’s always spotless and everyone is very welcoming, we love it!

Pop in on the off chance during a bike ride, very friendly and an excellent pint of thatchers gold.

Visit for breakfast once a week. I am sure if we didn’t have half hour drive we would visit more often. The food is excellent. The place is spotlessly clean. It is very good value for money. All the staff are lovely and always happy to see you. Can’t fault it.

Visited here at the weekend. Lovely bunch of young women, very good service. Had a little laugh with them! Although the food is cheap tasting but is presented well and not too bad considering.

Food good. Not so friendly but polite

Clean & great atmosphere, lovely staff. We ordered a full English breakfast each as we'd heard good things about the food here. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to it. Brekkie was let down with - no black pudding, so we had an extra hash brown instead, which were so overcooked (deep fried) that they were inedible. Toast was well overdone too. Shame because the produce was good quality. Coffee was weak as well. Might of been a bad day in the kitchen, but for the prices charged, we will not be returning.
