Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Food was tasty but personally two drawbacks for us. We had booked and when we arrived for how busy they were, we could only have the table for a limited time. No previous warning of this. The menu was not quite to our tastes with less fish choices.

Nice lunch and very decent pint of bitter with a friendly welcome and good service in pleasant surroundings. Not the cheapest but well worth the visit & shall return. Thanks.

What a wonderful place to eat. We wanted a Sunday roast on holiday booked with our well behaved black Labrador. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. A very relaxed ambience and the most amazing Sunday beef roast, all cooked beautifully and the vegetables crisp just how I like them. Only just had a little room for a scrumptious dessert and left the restaurant absolutely stuffed🙈. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant for eating and will definitely be back on our next holiday. The Labrador totally agrees as he was given biscuits and lots of fuss. 🐾

We had a table of 14 for our wedding anniversary yesterday evening and the food/service and cost were all fantastic. The serving staff couldn’t have been more attentive and catered to all requests swiftly. I have no hesitation what so ever in highly recommending The Black Horse 😃

Had one of the best pies I have had in years Chicken Balti with crispy home made chips and a side of curry sauce all washed down with a great pint hard to beat

Unfortunately the menu is so small now, limited options if you do not like cheese. Good service though.

Just had fish & chips plus sausage & chips. Absolutely cooked to perfection and very friendly. Fully recommend and give it a try.
