Zufa Restaurant in Hillingdon

We visited tonight to celebrate a friends birthday and it was the perfect evening. The waitress was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable in helping us choose our dishes. When she found out that I was gluten intolerant a side of chopped raw carrots and cucumber was supplied instead of the bread so that I could have the dips. All the food was of the highest quality and was actually hot when served rather than the normal restaurant warm. Service was fast and efficient and they also have a child’s menu. I can also recommend the mocktails. They made a point of making it an occasion when bringing the birthday cake out

Our first time here and we really enjoyed it. Lovely booking with the manager on the phone who was flexible with the time as we had a small baby. Very polite and attentive waiters. Enjoyed some cocktails! We felt the starters weren't great but the main meal (wraps) were lovely with chips. Perhaps on the pricier side, but we felt it was worth it as the atmosphere was lovely. Free tequila shot at the end was a nice touch. Setting was really nice. Thank you for a lovely experience! Happy New year to you all.

There is a wide range of delicious food and the staff are exceptionally friendly. I am so pleased we have such a great local restaurant.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the most mouth-watering scrumptious Middle-Eastern food from Zufa in Northwood Hills, managed by Georges. We were a big party for a family birthday gathering whereby Zufa delivered, set up and ensured the food was kept hot and fresh throughout in the garden of our house. Every aspect was perfectly met from Zufa's initial suggestions when putting the menu together to its prompt timing of delivery and set up, after which even the collection of all crockery and serving trays was fast and efficient and always utmost professional. We cannot recommend Zufa in Northwood Hills more, perfect in every way.

My experience at this restaurant was utterly sublime from start to finish . I ordered Lahm Meshi with a Fattush Salad as a starter , whilst my business partner ordered the Bamieh Rice with Hummus Pesto as a starter. The Lahm meshi was cooked to absolute perfection, whilst the Fattush salad tasted heavenly. My business Partner ( Jacob ) was also in awe of the food and felt the restaurant catered to his vegetarian needs very well , something that we struggle to find when eating in the area . As drinks, we ordered the Old Fashioned , which had been infused with hand picked oranges off the mountains of Lebanon , this was clearly evident when we were drinking these remarkable drinks . The service was second to none , we were greeted by a polite man in glasses , he was very attentive towards all our needs throughout our meal , clearly a splendid well spoken waiter . The impeccable service was led by a brilliant manager , who expedited his staff brilliantly with great aplomb. I’d highly recommend Zufa and would highly recommend the Old fashioned , with a delicious Lebennese twist .

Went to Zafu for a casual dinner only to be met with a hostile waiter and hair in our starter! When our starter came there was a hair in it. The waiter we called over to tell about it, went to pick the hair out, then put it back on the table! We were disgusted. The first waiter we had was so lovely. She is the only reason why we stayed. The waiter that took our payment was hostile and rude. He ignored us when we called him first and then, as he was taking payment he nearly knocked me out the the card reader and didn’t acknowledge it, then asked us to multiply what we had paid each on our calculator “just in case”!!! What kind of service is that? Treating customers with suspicion when we’ve done nothing wrong is out of order. The only reason why I give this place 1 star is because of the lovely female waiter. I wouldn’t recommend this place with that service.

I went to this restaurant for lunch and I am completely disappointed with the service and food. Our table was sticky and dirty and asked the staff to clean it. She did but left the table wet. Asked her to dry the table. Food was not fresh at all. Hot starters were not even warm. The pastry seemed uncooked and maybe 3/4 days old. The only thing which was okay was the French fries. Main course had an after taste which we couldn't identify. I will never go to this restaurant again.

Myself and my partner were looking for a nice restaurant on the off-chance we stumbled across this lovely Lebenese Restaurant the atmosphere was relaxed and vibrant. The staff were amazing polite, attentive and friendly. They recommended dishes that were really delicious and well cooked. If your a meat eater I would really recommend the Lamb chops they were cooked to perfection. I came away 100 percent happy with my choice and we found they accommodated my partners like for spicy food. We had a lovely evening thank you we also appreciated the late opening time. Definitely going to visit again with the whole family.

This establishment is top tier. Food is great and has a diverse range of foods for all palates. The customer service was amazing, always checking up on us while giving us great recommendations on food and drink (they a great Old Fashioned you should try out). So if you want a great restaurant experience and good chat about football, this should be the first stop on your list.

There are no menus. When meeting up with a friend, I feel it ruins the mood to have to pull out your phone and start staring at the menu. Trying to have a conversation and at the same time work out what you want to eat especially when you feel waiters are already on the hurry up. Which has lead me to not check the prices properly. I normally order but decided to let my friend take the lead. The waiter in charge has zero class. When ordering a cocktail he said to my friend “it’s £12 is that OK”. Which reflects his immaturity he said the manager has told him to conduct himself this way. So to every customer was he asking them “if £12 was ok” all night I doubt it. If they are, then they need to have a drinks/cocktail menu printed up asap. After this I loathed every time he came near us. He also showed great contempt for young girls enjoying themselves on a night out and also used this as his excuse for asking us if “£12 was ok” for a cocktail. More or less insinuating that couldn’t afford £12. Again very rude. A good cocktail is worth every penny. However if you are served two on the trot both watery and lacking in alcohol. They are not! I was glad when another young man began serving us as he was much more obliging and polite. Veggie platter well… two falafel balls. A disgusting excuse for fattoush salad using iceberg lettuce (!!) in the middle, some aubergine (cold) some patata bravas, houmous, what else? I couldn’t tell you. But no way worthy of £42!!! Don’t worry we won’t be back. I expect some sort of cocky reply. I did tell them about this behaviour that night. Again more sneers and something said in a foreign language as we left by him.

I love this restaurant, I come regularly with my friends, the staff and service is amazing 100% recommend!!! Klara

Mixed thoughts on this, having eaten in and out on several occasions the food wavers between really good and ok. The main thing that bugs me, is that when eating at the restaurant, the portion sizes are satisfying, but when you have a takeaway, the portions are small and seem to be shrinking with each order! Why??

Popped in for lunch. An hours on street parking was 1.50 and plenty of empty spaces on boths sides of the road. The service and food were great, a wrap with chips and a meze platter for one inc service was around 20 quid. The food was great, and we'd visit again. Thanks.

Not good value for money and this is the first Lebanese restaurant I know that charges extra for salad, pitta bread and even chilli sauce. Before long they will charge extra for the takeaway containers. We had no idea this was the case so ended...

Beware their particularly failed online booking systemAs with most people trying to book a meal out between Monday to Wednesday, you have to book in advance, for which we did - specifically on Sunday midday, online, as per their websites instructions.- They then send a cancellation email 3 hours before we’re due to be there!- The lady who I spoke too - the manager - says this is their online booing system - they had 20 ppl for that one slot...- EVERY Other online booking system would not allow you to book unless they had a slot. It literally defeats the purpose of online bookingsWe all know how hard it is to book somewhere and get childcare sorted for a night out etc etc.The food may actually be nice, but we’ve agreed, we’re not going to waste our time on a place that wastes our time like that...

Best Lebanese food I have ever tasted. Great taste, hygienic and reasonably priced. Strongly recommend.

Me my sister and a couple of friends came for dinner. The service was extremely slow and poor. It took over 30 minutes to grab their attention to order our food and then even longer for our soft drinks to come. They bought one starter out between four of us and the rest out 20 minutes later (bit by bit). The food was nice but many other places with better service and food. Perhaps the staff was unable to cope with their capacity. Not one to normally write negative reviews but this really stood out to me. The staff wasn't wearing masks which I thought would be a given during a global pandemic. Was also handed a dirty menu. Perhaps the hatched branch has better service!

Seating was not socially distanced, restaurant very busy with the normal capacity. Service was slow and waiters/waitresses weren’t very welcoming or cheerful. Was very disappointed as we had heard good things about the restaurant. Food did taste nice when it arrived.

Lovely food and service was good, it is pricey if you are drinking alcohol. The falafel, halloumi and humous were very tasty.

I have visited Zufa's restaurant 5 times to visit a friend. Joseph and George the branch managers always look after my friend Rene and I. As you first enter, the restaurant is styled very simply and elegantly. We always get a friendly reception. You can order whatever you want from the menu or lunchtime specials. The food is reasonably priced and certainly not extravangantly priced. The food is very tasty and they offer a variety of Lebanese dishes. I can recommend the Chicken shish wrap, which comes with fries and salad. We also had hummous, flat bread, pickles. Last time I had the chicken soup as I wasn't that hungry and can honestly say the flavours were home-made and tonnes of chicken. Served with flat bread it was delightful.I also like everything is freshly presented. I can be critical of places but the two other comments is that the salad is exceptionally fresh. Also, the toilets in the restaurant are very clean (my way of judging a restaurant lol). If you're in the area I really would recommend this place. 5 star rating it deserves.

Ordered take away for delivery. Food was late and cold. Rang to check where the food was as it was 40 mins late. Spoke to the manager who was rude, dismissive and argumentative. In short he couldn’t care. Food eventually arrived 50 mins late. Very poor experience. Bad food, late food and cold!

We hired out Zufa for our work Christmas Party. Georges and all the staff at Zufa were AMAZING. Nothing was too much trouble. Best Christmas party we've had. Food was delicious, service impeccable, attention to detail superb. Thank you! Will definitely be back!

I had booked this venue for a family birthday dinner and it was well organised. Restaurant owner/ manager Emile was a very good host and l highly recommend you coming to Zufa. It’s a lovely Lebanese restaurant lovely food and lovely waiting staff. We were welcomed by all and for entertainment we had a belly dancer entertaining all the restaurant it was really good fun. Thank you Emile for a wonderful evening. I highly recommend this eaterie thanks again too all

Zufa restaurant is a fantastic restaurant offering a wide range of Lebanese food. The food is exceptional and the staff go out of their way to ensure you enjoy yourself and the food. Zufa looks are is customers. They even offered a Diwali menu which offered Lebanese food with an Indian twist . This menu was superb. I can’t recommend this place enough. The cleaned plates speak for the food

I give 2 stars rather than 1 as I am not entirely competent in this kind of cuisine and as a chef myself, I respect people's work. But I absolutely didn't like dinner here, both me and my girlfriend had stomachache after dining here. Disappointing

Been coming here regularly for the set lunch at £ 8 95 which is great value home made hummus grilled chicken with salad or fries lovely home made juices and peppermint teas a real find among the oasis of Northwood Hills my waiter beautifully served by season

We have been regulars at Zufa for the past couple of years now. From the first visit we have found the experience excellent. The food, service, and atmosphere are to a consistently very high standard. We are fish lovers and have found all the offerings to be of the highest quality. Portions are generous and prepared with detailed care.

Thank you very much to all of  you for making our dinner of four who sat outside last evening (Tues. 3.9.19) such a lovely evening and most enjoyable experience. You were very welcoming, your service very attentive and your meals absolutely delicious! We go here regularly as we love the food. Absolutely delicious and the staff are always very helpful and attentive. Have taken many friends to it and they all loved it too. The chicken livers are great and the lamb chops are the best! Also had the Lebanese red wine which was excellent.

Went for a friends birthday meal and we each ordered 3 mezze dishes which were all lovely, however, they needed some sauces or dressing as all were a bit dry. The falafel came with tahini but everything else was crying out for something to dip it in - the Fatayer and the Cheese Rikakat and even the chips that my friend had with her chicken wrap.

The number of good reviews for zufa suggests quality, however ultimately there is a wide variety in quality seen. The zaatar bread was expertly created and the salads were nicely constructed. The hummus Beiruty was strangely disappointing however, lacking that extra kick one would expect. Overall a safe if not stellar option.

Very nice, cheerful and helpful staff. Food very good, helpings generous. One small criticism the food could have done with some sauces or dips as rather dry and a more generous amount of salad would have helped. We also tried cocktail each which were very good. Overall a good experience the staff even provided a some little tastes of Baklava with a candle for the birthday girl, which was a lovely touch.

My boyfriend and I often dine at Zufa, the food is always hot and fresh and reasonably priced and healthy.

Tried this for first time. Tried to book between 6 and 8 pm online. Stated not available ! Arrived at 8 pm booked table , restaurant was empty. ! Ordered lamb and vegetables. Was Cold so sent it back !! Returned and was fairly hot. Vegetables had no seasoning at all. The leg of Lamb was half full of fat. Again absolutely no taste ! And expensive for what it was . Hubby had baby chicken and was very dry and burnt on top. Complained to waitress and just said I’m sorry will let the chef know. This is not a Lebanese chef and has no idea how to cook Lebanese Will never go there again !!

Just a few hundred metres from Northwood Hills station. Rather than go to a bound to be busy chain restaurant by Wembley stadium we booked a table here. Late afternoon/early evening just a couple of young families and a few others in attendance. Service was friendly and attentive. Love Lebanese/Mediterranean food. Will return

Really lovely Lebanese fayre. Restaurant was very busy which we took as a good sign. First visit did not disappoint and we will return to try other things on the menu.

Stopped off lunch. Got hot, freshly prepared wrap with fries. A decent side salad and some nibbles thrown in. Awesome! Great price too. Service was very good.

We had a memorable sunday lunch at zufa.All the classic Lebanese dishes freshly prepared and nicely presented-moutabbal, fattoush,falafel, kibbeh, and farrouj meshwi-grilled marinated chicken.And a bottle of Ksara white wine to drink.Georges and his team gave us a warm welcome in their stylish restaurant.Even the background music is relaxing-songs by Fairouz, the famous Lebanese singer.We look forward to our next visit!

Poor food poor service.. we went when the restaurant opened and was excellent.. the main course was bland and on on presentation poor... slapdash .. in the background was a blender that was screeching spoiling the ambience.. the waiting on staff was more akin to a cafe.. very overpriced .. we waited along time for the cheque.. their WiFi down ..the owners have their foot of the pedal here ..

We dropped in for lunch entirely by chance as we were walking the London Loop and not knowing Hatch End it looked clean, inviting and had a sunny pavement terrace. The waitress was superb. Friendly, helpful with menu advice and very efficient. The food was excellent too. We opted for mezzes as we weren’t hugely hungry but be warned - even the starter sizes are extremely generous! Everything was fresh and home made and if you enjoy Lebanese food you won’t be disappointed. One stand out was the calamari. So fresh and tasty with a delicious home made garlic dip and nothing like the standard ‘frozen squid rings’ that are often the case in restaurants. The Lebanese coffee is delicious and served in pretty individual coffee jugs with home made biscuits. Great value, a warm welcome and a superb chance find. Thank you!

A last minute late Sunday lunch. As a Ceoliac ofcourse I would avoid certain places, but I’m glad I took a change. The food was incredible and so tasty. The menu clearly marked with what I could I could eat and the staff were cautious and asked, which is always a good sign that they take any intolerance or allergy seriously. I would highly recommend a visit. We had lamb, salad, hummus, falafel. I brought my own bread which they were happy to heat for me.

We visited Zufa tonight and had a really delicious meal. We were impressed from the moment we entered the restaurant without a booking, and were politely received by the staff who immediately offered us a table for two. We were served by a delightful Romanian girl who had a permanent smile on her face. Everyone who came to our table to deliver food or collect plates, impressed us with their warmth and friendliness. We ordered their speciality bread called Saj bread stuffed with halloumi cheese. It was delicious, crispy and light. They brought complimentary crudités as well. We then had a small grilled chicken and mixed Chawarma. My husband and I both enjoyed our food and the price was very reasonable and good value for money. There is plenty to eat on the menu if you are a vegetarian too. We were given complimentary biscuits with our bill as we were too full to have a desert. We will definitely be back to this restaurant and recommend it to anyone who enjoys good Lebanese food.

Visited this restaurant recently for lunch It was not very busy but nevertheless the service was good and all the dishes we ordered were tasty. The restaurant is clean but would say it is quite functional looking on entry. We ordered from the lunchtime menu which was good value. They did not rush us and we spent almost 3.5 hours. Would definitely visit again.

Went to Zufa with friends for my birthday the food was amazing and the cocktails where superb loved the experience and the hospitality

I was looking forward to this place however I was extremely disappointed. The set menu came and it was no more than a few dips, some flatbread a small bowl of salad and a plate of meat which was over dry and looked reheated several times over. The shawarma was hard chewy and curled up at the edges. This was between 3 people at a cost of £66 for it. it also cane with baklava but even that had biscuits on it to pad it out rather than getting a proper portion of baklava. This restaurant charges ridiculous prices for under average food and I definitely won’t be going again.

We have eaten in before and its been great, but we get a lot of takeaways and its always just as good.

Had a wonderful lunch recently at Zufa and we all enjoyed it even the kids. We ordered from the lunch menu shawarma sandwiches served with chips and salad and few side starters which were all delicious. Will definitely recommend Zufa.

One of the best restaurants I have been to. We had the valentine’s 3 courses menu with a welcoming glass of Prosecco on arrival. The starters were amazing especially the mutabbal(so smooth) and the mains were cooked to perfection.

Visited here on the off chance and we are so glad we did! Set menu was perfect for the four of us and the food was fantastic. But even more so was the relaxed and informal service. We will definitely be returning

My wife and I had a party of 37 people hosted by Georges and his team. Prior to this Georges was accommodating in creating a bespoke menu for us and our guests - and on the day, the did not disappoint. The food tasted great, was of very high quality and exactly what you expect and more. The drinks that accompany are just a good, with a range of choice which also delivered to our expectations.

There are a number of restaurants along this stretch of road in Hatch End, some of them we have tried before and many we have not. Between Christmas and New year we took my Wife's aunt for lunch there. We knew we were going to Hatch End for lunch but beyond that we had no plans so simply gave it a try as I certainly had not had Lebanese cuisine before.

We came here as a group one evening. The venue is small - to - medium sized, really clean and modern.

We visited the new Zufa restaurant in Hatch End with friends. The aubergine dip was absolutely delicious. The chicken shish was average. Tthe flatbreads were very flat and the salad was a bit mushy. The Lebanese wine was excellent. The waiter was friendly. The restaurant was very pretty but virtually empty. That being the case, I think had I been the Maitre D I would have spent a bit more time smiling and welcoming new guests and try to promote more custom. We may give it a second go but there are so many similar restaurants in Hatch End. I would not discourage giving it a try. It is probably better in the evening and we did have the cheap set meal.

Had a family lunch party of 10. The chef/owner made us a mixed selection of traditional starters; moutabbal, houmos, fattoush, falafel and kebbeh lamb. All delicious. The a selection of chicken and lamb shawarma, rice, pittas, fries. All cooked very well - lovely and moist. I have just come back from a holiday in Luxor and Aswan and can confirm that this food is up there with the best. Will be visiting again.

With friends we went to this restaurant but on Uxbridge Road, Hatch End not Northwood. It opened a few weeks ago and I am guessing is the sister restaurant of the one of the same name in Northwood.

Four of us had a meal at the weekend. A selection of hot meze starters - all excellent especially the chicken livers. We had to send back one of the starters as it was cold / partially cooked but the staff were very apologetic.

We ate here with family. We mainly ordered more starters. The service was ok though could have taken our drinks order first. The food was ok not as authentic as i would have liked. The portion sizes were reasonable.

Very disappointing meal out with friends. The reviews were really good so thought it was a safe bet. However the food was extremely poor. The chicken we had for the main wasn’t cooked properly, pink in places. We told the waitress who admitted the chef hadn’t cooked it properly and was extremely apologetic having admitted this was the case. The bill was then reduced by 25% as an admittance of wrong doing. I would never go here again and am so surprised the reviews for here as so good!

This popular Lebanese Restaurant offer a good value lunch menu on Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). Food is tasty and service good, although you would need to visit in the evening for any real atmosphere. The dinner menu is considerably more costly and I would venture to say rather overpriced for a provincial eatery. We did try to book in a large group around early December and were told that we could only have the very pricey (and restrictive) Xmas menu. Perhaps the restaurant has become rather too self important.

This is an excellent middle-eastern restaurant in Pinner/Northwood area. The choice and quality of food was very good. Friendly service. Prices reasonable. Suggets make a booking if planning to visit for dinner over the weekend.

The atmosphere is a lovely one, the manager and staff are super friendly and caring. The food is probably the best Lebanese food I have ever tried and the tase of the food is outstanding!! I am Iranian but loved everything about this Lebanese restaurant. Would definitely recommend it to everyone. I come from Finchley every time and it is worth it.

Starters were mostly good but the mains were dry (chicken) and not enough veggie options.
