Zizzi - Brentwood in Brentwood

After a mix up with another restaurant, my daughters birthday celebrations were saved by the lovely manager at Zizzi's in Brentwood who went out of his way to seat 12 of us at very short notice, our waitress Katarina was exceptional, the service was friendly and efficient and everyone enjoyed their meal.

When we want something fast and predictable Zizzi tends to be a go to. We’ve eaten at quite a few across the country. The food was what you’d expect from Zizzi. The restaurant seems a lot more airy than others and less cramped which is a good thing. What really stood out was that we had great service from Tilly. Thank you.

Often browsed the menu but hadn't sampled the food until 23rd Nov. Quite a few empty tables so was a bit pensive, how wrong was I! Amazing food, good portion size, plenty to chose from but not overwhelmingly so. Will certainly visit again 5 star food an service and not expensive either. 👍

We’ve visited Zizzi’s on a regular basis over the years, and always friendly, but on the last few occasions have seen a noticeable decline in quality. Anything from slow service, getting orders incorrect, and food turning up on the plate which is not as described on the menu. We don’t expect gourmet here, but we do expect a business get the basics right.

Lovely lunch with the family. Food and service excellent waitress very polite and efficient. Seabass and Prawns very good.

Excellent food, served nice and hot , salad was full of lots of toppings, well presented and very tasty. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Clean and tidy restaurant area AND they had a disabled toilets which was an added bonus . Definitely recommend

I visited Zizzi with my partner and my Mum yesterday. We had drinks, cocktail, starters and a platter - everything was amazing. For mains we all had something different to share and everything was delicious. Waiter Kamil was very helpful and made great recommendations. The atmosphere was great too. I would highly recommend Zizzi if you want cocktails and great food! Very reasonably priced too. We will definitely be back. Thank you Kamil and chef Arthur.

Good food and great service. Staff very professional and cleared tables of empty plates when people had finished. High 5 to manager and staff.

We live local to this branch and order regularly, the pizzas are always great quality and value for money. They change the menu and add special pizzas all the time to keep it fresh and give a great choice. We can always recommend the arancina balls and the garlic bread with mozzarella...

A wet Monday autumnal night, saw us have dinner in Zizzi in Brentwood. What a good experience, great food, friendly, well informed staff, ( shout out to Charlie, who went over and above to look after us). Great value, we will definitely come here again. Recommend Arancini and especially the Rigatoni Dellacasa. Don’t miss out

Myself & my friend had such lovely service from Charlie the manager he went above & beyond a great asset to the restaurent but I could only give them a poor rating as we both had food poisoning we had the della casa our usual dish and we both said it didn’t taste right that night we both had sickness & diahria such a shame as we love this place but now has def put us off going again

Popped in for lunch with daughter and grandchildren. Service was slow and food, although plentiful was of poor quality and quite cold. I want food that is better than I can cook but these days I can’t say that about many restaurants and definitely not this one. £100 not well spent!

Went for a meal with my mum for lunch, and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality. We had a selection of starters that were all delicious, including the best dipping pot of melted cheese! Everything had so much flavour and was clearly well put together. The staff were attentive and friendly. Would definitely go back again. However, they could make the experience even better by getting rid of some of the unnecessary decor around the seats (would make it finer).

Service was so slow and very unfriendly staff who are rude avoid this place go to the many other restaurants in brentwood where they will treat you with respect and realise you are paying thier wages and that Care if your happy or not.....even KFC would be better

Came here for a family visit and was very disappointed with the food and slow service. The arancini balls we ordered to start were flavourless and unseasoned - I’ve had better arancini from the frozen party food section in Sainsburys. My boyfriend’s dad’s main meal was cold but because we’d waited almost two hours for food, we didn’t send it back (they did offer to refund the cold main course at the end of the meal which was nice). The service was extremely slow considering it’s basically just pizza and pasta on the menu. I’d pick one of the independent restaurants on the high street serving fresh food instead of a big chain serving reheated food!

Popped in for lunch today. Warm welcome and great service. Food was delicious. Will definitely return. Have eaten in lots of Zizzi’s but this was definitely the best food experience of the lot. Well done Brentwood team!

at zizi Brentwood we make the best pizza and the most delicious pasta and the service was impeccable with a super ok wide quality staff. Thank you and I will be back with great pleasure.

My husband and I are regularly forgotten about when we go out for dinner. It has become a bit of a running joke. We were sat tucked on a table out of the way and instantly thought we would be forgotten about before the meal had even started.We were very much mistaken. Service was outstanding and the food we had delicious. Even though a number of items were not available as they were about to change the menu, we enjoyed everything we ate. Honestly some of the best customer service we have had in a restaurant for some time.

We visited on a Saturday night with family and the restaurant was very busy. This didn’t stop the staff being very friendly efficient and courteous. When our meals came out, they were tasty, freshly made and piping hot. Food prices are fair, only sore point is that the Peroni is pretty expensively over £6 a bottle. Heading back there tonight again with a group of friends and looking forward to it, so will stick to just buying the one beer!

It was surprisingly good quality Italian restaurant in Brentwood. I had a caprese and it was really fresh and delicious. The prices are also reasonable.

I went to my local zizzi because my two young daughters (5&8) love Italian food (who doesn’t) and I was pleasantly surprised by the menu, the decor and also by the staff, who were attentive and charming with my girls.I’ve cooked professionally to a high level so am keenly observant of all restaurants I go to, especially with my kids, but I need-ant of been here.I recommend this branch at least.

The place is clean and staff friendly, menu is ok, it’s pretty much like pizza express and ask etc! Food was ok but I think could of been better if nicer ingredients used. Not bad value so not a bad evening!

We visited here for lunch because of good reviews. I had a pizza which was good, my wife had her usual lasagne and said worst she had ever had. Why, the meat was gristly.To their credit the charge was waived. Perhaps they could buy better mince and charge a little more. Our current standard to measure against is Charlie Bighams. Visited this restaurant on Saturday for lunch, the food was well prepared and very tasty, staff were helpful and friendly, my friend does not drink and order a soft drink which came with a sprig of rosemary, which she said was delicious overall a great very clean and spacious restaurant

Food good as always, service not so great which is unusual. Lacklustre at best, didn't even clear starter plates and the mains were served and it wasnt busy

Friendly staff, good service, very amenable with using an array of birthday / gift vouchers. Didn't feel rushed out the door once we'd finished and food was very tasty. Would recommend.

Went for lunch for four adults and two kids and staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was overall very good although some said the pasta dishes could have been better. Majority very happy and would return. Reasonably priced and nice atmosphere.

We visited zizzi Brentwood this weekend and won’t be visiting again..... sub standard food; over cooked lasagne, a bowl of burst ravioli, terrible carbonara & children’s spaghetti, poor service, a staff member asleep upstairs.

Nice lunch. Good kids meals. The service was very slow. Not very attentive. But the food was tasty. The dessert was very sickly. Was the caramel sundae. Loads of white chocolate sticks. Didn’t really need those, were very sickly.

The food was excellent as usual, with good choices. The waitresses were smiling and friendly. A lovely meal to celebrate a birthday.

I recently visited this restaurant with my boyfriend and it was the best meal we had both had in a very long time. Our waitress was really lovely also and the chefs were very smiley too. I highly recommend this Zizzi it’s the best one by far :) we will be returning soon.

Everything was delicious, especially the pizzas which were thin crust with quality toppings (I had pepperoni, ham, mushroom on mine). Service was friendly and efficient. Liked the fact you could tip separately. Couldn’t fault it. Fixed price menu around £14 for 3 courses. Very generous portions too!

Spacious restaurant, nicely furnished. Very good efficient staff. Our waitress Hayley was very pleasant.We enjoyed our very large tasty pizzas. It was nice to eat in this well designed place. They were very good at dealing with children on other tables. Nothing was to much trouble for them.

We came for a staff party here on a Monday evening, 33 of us and we couldn’t praise the staff enough. I organised the booking with the general manager Serge and it was very quick and easy, some restaurants it can be difficult to make a big booking but he was more than happy to accomadate us. The manager working was Hayley who gave us all a warm welcome and set our table upstairs so we had our own private area. Emma was our waitress for the evening and she was incredible. She took our order quickly and nothing was missed off, even though we all had 3 courses. Our bar lady Kiara with Emma’s help served everything to us with no time delays, they couldn’t do enough for us. We all enjoyed ourselves so much and we can’t wait to return for our next staff party. Thank you team Brentwood you really are league above the rest :)

I visited the restaurant in October with friends for dinner and had an amazing experience. The staff especially our waitress Aniko was amazing made us feel comfortable straightaway and gave one of the best services I have ever received would definitely recommend

We as a family love zizzi! They get the kids colouring pencils and drawing bits ready straight away and are very good with their service and the food is amazing

We visited for an early evening dinner with five year old with a severe dairy intolerance and were very impressed by the advice , help and knowledge of the waiter. He referred to a manual of food intolerances and gave helpful guidance as to what she was safe to eat. We actually said that thankfully Ella didn’t suffer life threatening anaphylaxis but severe abdominal pain and upset . The waiter showed genuine concern that she was provided with suitable food. All the food provided was excellent and I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

I absolutely adore the menu at Zizzi’s and I love being able to have a whole vegan menu with a variety of options whilst going for lunch/dinner with my non-vegan friends and family. Brentwood is my favourite because of the wonderful staff, they’re always friendly and it’s my favourite place to go for food.

Came in last night for a quick dinner, with a friend. I have been to different zizzi's before and didnt find anything special about them, howereve it was not the case here. The food Was delicious, but The main highlight of The night Was the service, our waitres was so friendly and just happy to be there. Cant wait to return

My wife, my two children and I just went for a meal at Zizzi, Brentwood. We ordered two risottos and two pasta dishes. Although the food tasted fine, they were the smallest main courses I have ever eaten in a restaurant. The risottos in particular were tiny. It's a shame because for the sake of another handful of rice or pasta we would have gone away satisfied and would have returned again. However, all four of us needed a bag of chips on the way home just to fill us up, which after spending £75 on a meal is frankly quite ridiculous.

Absolutely love this place. The service is always so friendly and welcoming and the food never disappoints. All the staff seem happy and are all friendly.

We was served by a women with short blonde hair the service was great and she was very bubbly, food was 10/10. Would happily return.

Went there the other day with my boyfriend. It was the first time we tried this restaurant, but was a great experience. Got in quickly even if the place was packed. Nice ambiance, friendly staff, especially the manager. And the food literally blew our mind. Definitely a place to visit.

After hosting Christmas for family we all decided that we’d had enough of turkey so booked to go to Zizzi. It was brilliant. No turkey just excellent seabass and pulled pork and pasta. Prawns were good and desserts were delicious especially the fruit crumble.

Second time in this restaurant. One of the worst services we ever had.Rude manners.We left the restaurant without ordering anything.

Came here tonight with my wife. The place was packed, we didn't book, and still got a table! Service was great as always, the staff were clearly very busy, but always smiling and nothing was to much for them. Had a bit of the wait for food to come out, but it's was worth the wait, and the waitress gave us complementary drinks( didn't complained or asked for free stuff). This place becoming my new favourite restaurant in town, Can't wait to come back!

We come here all the time and we were very lucky to be served by Emma again, this time dressed as a Christmas tree. The food was its usual great standard and the service we received from Emma was amazing. If your ever planning a family get together or just a lovely meal out then I would recommend zizzi every time! Lovely food and atmosphere for pre Christmas lunch with friend

The wife and myself visited here on christmas eve, we both wish we had gave our money to a more deserving busines on the high street. The service was appaulling, drinks incorrect when ordered.... twice. We had to wait for cutlery when the main course arrived at the table. The dessert arrived and no spoons. All in all it put a down on our night. Service was shockingly bad.

I went to Zizzi for the first time in years for our work Christmas dinner. I wasn't really looking forward to it, as the last time I went, I was rather underwhelmed as I felt the food was ordinary and over priced.

Really friendly staff. Resolved a delay to service pragmatically and swiftly with extra desert and a bottle of wine on the house.

Central Brentwood on the High Street. Six of us sat around a large round table in the window and had a wonderful evening. The waitress (Hayley) was great and very attentive.

We went to Zizzi on a Friday and not for the first time, there is a good reason for this, the food and staff is always top level and has no faults. The atmosphere is great and the staff are very friendly.

We live in Bromley, so today came to visit my son! He suggested his local Zizzi for lunch. I m not a fan of chain restaurants, but I m glad we gave it a go. The service was amazing, the blond girl serving us was happy and bubbly, and nothing was to much for her. I had the special beef pizza, absolutely delicious followed by amazing lemon cheesecake!!! Will definitely be back

We were served by Laura that was very nice and prompt with the service. She helped us choose things from the menu in order to avoid certain allergens.

I usually don't like to write reviews, but we ve been coming to this restaurant for a while now. Every time the staff are really friendly and the food is delicious. This is by far my favourite restaurant in Brentwood!!!!

I have been here before with my family and have never been disappointed. We were served by the blonde waitress with very short hair. We have had her before and she's always so pleasant and friendly. The food was out of this world, love the new menu, 5 * service as usual!

Just home from one of the worst dining experiences ever.

We ate here recently and couldn't believe we hadn't been here before! Huge portions, great service, lovely staff and good prices. The pizzas were huge! Looking forward to going back.

Had a meal out at Zizi’s after work on Thursday. I choose zizi’s because of the reviews on trip advisor and they didn’t disappoint. The food was great! I had the garlic with mozzarella for starters which was amazing. The staff were great especially Emma who served us with a bubbly smile and made sure that every thing was to our liking. Would highly recommend ZiZi’s in Brentwood.

Love Zizzi but this one is class. The food was amazing. Especially the £15.95 weekend special menu. 3 courses for that. Loved it. Would definitely go here again.
