Zero Sette Restaurant in Newham

Absolutely superb food. Dropped in with work colleague after exhibiting all day. Managed to get a table. Calamari was beautifully crisp, colleague had the brushchetta which looked and tasted superb. I had the pork and vegetables. The pork was crispy on the outside, tender and succulent centre. The sauce balanced it beautifully. Colleague had the crab and lobster tortellini. Fantastic balance of chilli and pepper to complement the meats. Made a point of thanking the chef at the window.

I went to the restaurant on the last day of Comic Con and was happy that I was let in early. I also liked the fact one of the staff cosplayed as asuka from evangelion. Looking forward to coming back in May 2024.

Lovely and delicious taste. We have sea bass and monkfish as the main dishes. They are excellent and the taste surprising us.

Very plastic Italian vibe. Went there with a party of 5. We were placed right next to the kitchen and a pile of messily stacked exterior chairs! "Do you serve gluten free pasta? 'Yes'. OK we'll have that. 'Oh sorry not today!' Me, I ordered the Salmon Fettuccine which was extremely salty. Staff are reasonably friendly but clueless! In general the place ,(albeit in Winter), feels a little odd!

It was for my girlfriends birthday and they went above and beyond with free prosecco provided to the table, birthday banner, desert came with a birthday design & of course the service was just amazing and good vibes. We both loved our food and would most definitely come back P.S you should try the crab and lobster pasta - it’s amazing Thanks!

Food was lovely (Diavola Pizza and Steak were incredible, Tiramisu was lovely but could be sweeter) and staff were friendly though it was empty. Definitely a nice spot to eat near the excel

I think I just found my favourite Italian restaurant in the area. Had just a soup of the day, a starter and a pizza but will be back for more. Thank you!

Terrible service. Took ages to take our tables drinks order when we arrived. All the starters came out in dribs and drabs (10-15 minutes between the first starter and the last starter) waiter regularly forgot our requests such as black pepper for the main. To top it off they messed up our bill and ran out of deserts. AVOID!

Worst service ever. Rude, unpolite, just willing to get their paycheck. The owner sure fire the waiters In terms of food, it’s not an italian restaurant. They are pretending to cook pizza or pasta but with a non-italian chef. And you can tell. Change your team

The yummiest pizza and pasta and the friendliest service. We had an appointment at the passport office and came here for a family lunch afterwards. Had very nice pasta and the kids ordered pizzas and they gave it the highest marks (they are hard to please!). The staff were all Latin American, very smiley and friendly. Thanks again!

Unexpectedly good Italian restaurant in the shadow of Excel. You sort of expect to find chains near conference centres, so this place was a surprise. Really good menu with excellent food - pizza calzone was first class. One of the nicest I have had. Well done. Just the right amount of filling and decent amount of sauce. Little tiramisu for pud hit the spot. Pudding for all. The beer was Peroni. As you’d expect and as it should be. Even a pinhead would have seemed crowded with the number of angels dancing. Reasonable prices. I imagine this gets busy when there is a show on, so get booking.

The atmosphere was not good at all but the food completely compensated. Nothing too complicated or out of ordinary but it did hit the spot perfectly. We were a group of 30 only eating vegetarian and they accomodated us with a delicious set menu. Burrata, mushroom risotto (taaaasty,) and a delicious simple half frozen cheesecake

Easy eating for lanyards. There's a few veggie options though and the staff are nice.

Locale piacevole, personale molto gentile e in parte italian speaking, servizio veloce nonostante il ristorante fosse pieno. Ho mangiato abbastanza bene, considerata Londra. Unica nota dolente, caffè espresso terribile! Comodissimo rispetto a Excel quindi lo consiglio a chi si trovasse in quella zona per lavoro.

Always a go to restaurant when at the excel it never disappoints . Food is delicious, we have eaten here for a few years now because of the friendly attentive staff they cant do enough for you , choice and quality of food is always good , great portion size and hot , I would say the food has got even better . 👌🏻 Good choice of wines . good atmosphere . Fantastic top quality food. I can happily recommend the Veal chop, cooked with Garlic, Rosemary, Butter and Capers. We’re lucky to have this quality restaurant on our doorstep! I’m calling all of the local to use this place more and not so much the street food stands or we will loose it

We went here for a date night and were greeted very well. Staff is very courteous. We ordered some house wines, pizza and pasta. All the food was really awesome and served piping hot. We plant to come here more frequently. Cheers to guys here.

We wanted a quick dinner, we had a couple of cocktails a bruschetta and two pastas, the cocktails were not nice at all, the pastas were under cooked. I understand that it’s near the excel and that a lot of the business rely on the huge footfall from the events but that’s no excuse not to try. We didn’t even get asked if everything was ok when we paid for the bill. Honestly I get better customer service going into Sainsbury’s.

Showed up there at 10pm in 20, and we’ve been told we couldn’t order. Don’t say it closes at 10:30 if at 9:45 the kitchen is already closed. Many other portions around to consider before this one.

Zupełnie nie rozumiem zachwytów. Restauracja w porządku, ale bardzo daleko jej do tego, aby komuś ją polecić. Pizza stosunkowo bardzo słaba, jak w byle jakiej pizzerii. Świeci pustkami, a kelnerzy się nudzą stojąc w wejściu.

Recommend Zero Sette for large group work dinners after Excel Events. Would like to thank the Manager Laura, her team and the chefs for their service, all of which was excellent.

Went to Zero Sette after a show and was delighted at the warm welcome. Food was excellent and very reasonably priced and the staff could not do enough. Good wine list with a great menu to cover all tastes from pasta to pizza and fish to steaks. Nice contemporary setting. Can’t wait to go back.

Fabulous evening meal on a Sunday evening of the first May bank holiday weekend. We were staying on the Sunborn Yacht however the restaurant was booked and reviews mixed so we literally walked 200m to this delightful restaurant and had a fantastic meal. Steak and swordfish were both faultless and we enjoyed the desserts too. Service was spot on and was a lovely dining experience.

Clean and efficient; good pizzas. Wine list very poor and only two Italian beers.

Pedimos de entrantes focaccia y bruschetta y nos gustaron. La masas de ambos estaban muy buenas. La focaccia tenía un toque de ajo suave, aceite y algunas hojas de romero. La bruschetta venía con un montón de tomate troceado aderezado con vinagre balsámico. De platos principales pedimos pizzas y lasaña. Las pizzas aunque son de masa fina son bastante grandes. Todas las que pedimos estaban muy buenas en especial la calzone que venía bien cargada de queso. La lasaña viene en una fuente inundada de tomate y la cantidad de la masa es abundante. El personal es muy amable y atento. El precio es correcto. Volvería sin duda, muy recomendable.

This is by far one of the best Italian restaurants I have been. The staff is incredible. Ivy was so welcoming. He got my team a table and made our night so nice. The staff is one of the most friendly we have experienced. He was kind, thoughtful and genuine. Our team is back in May for another convention and we will be back! What a great place.

It’s so so, but being enough to save us from the malicious Excel London convention food.

Very fairly priced menu, the food has to be the best Italian I've ever had with everything freshly cooked to perfection. We had a table booked for 7pm on a Saturday and turned up early and got taken straight away. If you are in the area of the Excel Centre book a table as you won't be disappointed.

Although I've been living in the area for a few years now, I dined in this restaurant for the first time yesterday - Valentine's Day. Unassuming from the outside with minimalist interior design, the food is fantastic, speaking louder than anything else. I'm very particular about calamari which tasted so fresh at Zero Zette (pan-fried NOT deep-fried, dry and crispy). For my main, I had sea bream with homemade pesto sauce - divine - and my partner had steak which, according to his liking (being a lover of steak), was made to perfection. We waited a while but it was worth it! Can't wait to try their pizza. Highly recommend and would most definitely go back.

We had a lovely meal here. The food and staff were great and we really enjoyed ourselves. Would definitely go again if visiting the area.

Good Italian food if you have more time to wait. Had Italian Risotto with duck and Parmigiana cheese. If you order garlic pizza bread as a started expect whole pizza. (Good for 2p) Overall 4/5

A lovely Italian restaurant. Great food and lovely staff! Quick to clear empty plates but also happy to just have a chat and a laugh while you're debating your meal. A little quiet on a Saturday night, which actually works really well for me!

Catered for gluten free. Very polite helpful waiter. We went in at midday and it was quiet.

Staying near ExCel for the horse show, and this lovely restaurant was 2m from hotel. Very nice inside and the staff were really friendly and service was very good. We shared b prawns for starters and they were delicious. My daughter had the sea bream which was also tasty and plenty of it. I had the hot salmon pasta with vodka cream sauce this was also very nice. I couldn't eat it all because there was so much of it. The waiter all of three was anything wrong with it but I explained there wasn't it was just a huge dish for me. He said next time I visit ask for a small portion and said plus it would not cost as much. Or waiter was very nice and helpful. My daughter had creme brulee for desert which was also lovely. We are coming back here in January for my sister's 60th so looking forward to returning. Thank you Zero Sette for making it's feel very welcome and serving delicious food. Highly recommended restaurant.

Great bruchetta. Nice bolognese - needed to be a bit richer IMO. Portions - some were too small. Not enough meat options on pasta menu.

Bruschetta and pizzas were excellent!!! The only minus is the portion of the olives, not worth the price, I received literally 5 olives in dip container, while other restaurants are giving 5x more for similar price Vegan pasta was tragic, portion for the cat, sorry, but I’m very disappointed this time (2nd order). You improved portion of olives though

A busy restaurant in the Docklands but still the service is first class with the drinks and the food arriving bang on time. The staff are on their toes to make you enjoy your dinner but they never go over the top. The cocktails, the wine and the food are very good and offer excellent value for money in that area… definitely worth trying…

It was unexpected surprise! As I worked for the convention ExCel London for Brand Licensing Europe, we found out this restaurant. If it wasn’t the occasion, it would not be possible to find out this a good Italian restaurant. In particular, Fungi pasta was extraordinary which had a full of flavour. Smoked duck Risotto was also very delicious. However, lasagna was the least preference.

Whilst away in London we looked for a local Italian and dropped on this little gem!. Great service, lovely staff and super nice food!. Happy to return again when we are in the vicinity.

The staff were very friendly, excellent hosts, ambient and romantic environment, the toilets were very clean, the decoration was lovely, the music level and kind was perfect, the food was great and very tasty. Definitely will visit again.

We had dinner my group of friends at yiban nearby, they didn't have any nice desserts and I thought we should have some nice ones so I called the surrounding hotels and they didn't have any options. So I found this Italian with its sweet treats. Also the option of coffee is great. It took us about half an hour to get to there and they were more than happy with a last minute booking. We all got to enjoy their Italian sweet treats. We had a few adult beverages and coffee with tiramisu, cannoli and gelato. They hit the spot, everyone was satisfied. It was nice and busy but the staff were very attentive and lovely. A wonderful birthday treat. I highly recommend them even for sweet treats. Please press like if you found it helpful.

Very nice and cozy Italian restaurant, located just in front of the west exit of the Excel exhibit center. The food was really good, kind personnel, and tables of all sizes that best fit any need you might have. Wine selection is amazing, some of the best Italian wines you can find here. Clean and comfortable, you can spend a lot of hours here tasting different kinds of food coming straight from the Italian cuisine.
