Best take away in town,orders do take a while but i'd rather wait for a great meal than have something sub standard.

The Food was so so tasty! I had a Lamb Nagar hot! It’s tasted amazing hot with taste, if you’re a spice lover, but also want taste this is for you. I must say I did also ask for it to be hot. So if you fancy it just ask them to make it hot.

I don't often leave reviews but felt I really needed to say how delicious our meal was tonight. It was piping hot when I got it hone. The tandoori chicken (on the bone) was just amazing. And the butter chicken and suruchi chicken was so delicious. The rice was cooked perfectly. The salad was crisp. I don't even know how to explain how good the poppadoms were, they were crispy yet melt in the mouth, never had any like it. And there was next to no layers of oil sitting on the top, did not feel at all greasy like you quite often get with a takeaway. Honestly the best takeaway around. Would've given it an extra star if I could.

The most polite staff and the best food ever had from any Indian restaurant/takeaway. Do yourself a favour and try Zeera for a quality meal.

Had loads of meals from Zera over the years and the quality of the food varies from average to really good. Unfortunately, they always tell you it’s going to be an hour for delivery even when pressed for an honest estimate. It never arrives in less than an hour and a half and has been well over two hours on occasion. It’s usually pretty warm (not hot) but has also been very cool. Driver is always grovelling and apologising but that means nothing when it happens every single time. When collecting you’re told 20 minutes but then have to wait another 20. Last order also contained a hair which can happen anywhere but given the previous reviews must be a regular problem here. Won’t use them again - such a shame as they have a great menu and the meals are usually cooked very well.

Left my guy home alone last night. He picked up Madras which was more like Vindiloo 😜 He could not eat it did not want to complain. We normally both order for home delivery regularly and Madras beautiful so bit disappointing as normally excellent service and food. Cut back on spice and salt would be good.Thought real feedback might help . Hopefully our next delivery order will be edable 😞

We are visiting Creigiau and decided to order a takeway tonight. We ordered lamb korai, baigan tamtar and captain patila. The curries were very tasty and delivered hot! Our lamb korai was not delivered, instead we got chicken korai so that was a slight minus but overall we were very happy with everything.

This restaurant has put me off getting an Indian ever again, from anywhere, or any other takeaway for that matter. As I was plating my food I noticed a long hair come from the rice dish. When I rung to complain the owner asked if the hair was 'a massive one' as if he already knew. I requested a refund for the whole meal as I was obviously now completely put off eating any of it and I was told I should just receive a refund for the rice and the drink which was missing. As if he was blaming me that I didn't want to eat their food now lol. You really don't know what any of these takeaways are doing with your food. Uch. Definitely advise to stay away from these dirty takeaways.

Always amazing food, just wish they had a restaurant. Whilst we have 2 Indian restaurants in Pontyclun, Zeera consistently knocks the spots off them. I'll not set foot in either of them while Abdul is around

I have ordered for delivery from here before and not been disappointed, however, tonight was a different matter. Staff were very friendly both on the phone and delivering. I ordered the mushroom bhaji main and unfortunately it was inedible. It smelt off and tasted off too. The lamb tikka was chewy, where on previous occasions it has been amazing. Naan arrived cold, onion rice was nice. They also added to the overall price of what I had ordered, totalling myself my order came to £18.15 going off their physical menu, they charged me £20. This doesn't sound like a big deal, but still, stick to the prices on your menu especially when you only take cash on delivery. I won't be ordering again.

We have just used Zeera for the 1st time and it will definitely not be the last. Food was absolutely beautiful, special requests were carried out perfectly and the service was fantastic.

Wonderful food, and when on only one occasion I had an issue ( delivery time) the manager put it right to my satisfaction without complaint or hesitation. I would thoroughly recommend Zeera. The food is exquisitely cooked, and they cater for every taste, including the unusual... they have ostrich and rabbit if you dare!

We’ve been customers at Zeera’s, both branches (Pontyclun and Llantwit Fardre) for over 25 years and have, honestly, never had a bad meal! The staff are polite and friendly and the food is awesome. For my 60th, they prepare a superb spread for my guests. Everybody loved it, including the vegetarians. Sometimes there is a wait but that’s because it is cooked fresh and Zeera’s is so popular. For us, it is easily, by miles, the best anywhere near us. Tonight, I even got a personal mention on my dish (see picture). I’m chuffed...

Ordered food for the 1st time for a birthday treat. Food took a little longer to arrive than the time stated but on a saturday evening we expected that. When the food did arrive it was stone cold and unfortunately our microwave isn't working so couldn't re-heat. The food however, was incredibly tasty and we all enjoyed.

Takeaway this evening was really nice and will definitely be back for more. Had chicken tikka masala, chicken madras, mushroom rice, peshwari naan and onion bhajis. All beautifully cooked.

I am assuming the previous review is for a different Zeera as there is no £60 minimum spend, I just had the most amazing curry delivered and spent less than £30.

Best Indian in Pontyclun by a mile.

Hands down the tastiest, most carefully prepared Jalfrezi in the UK, and I have had my fair share. The enticing aroma of this place is one of, if not the best thing about Pontyclun high street in my opinion. I have to avoid going near there as if I catch a whiff of it I’m in there, chicken jalf, keema rice, keema naan, mixed raita, onion salad, poppadoms, nip over to Tesco’s for a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon, 20,000 calories later I’m one very happy man. If you are looking for a curry, this is the only curry place in South Wales in my opinion.

This is the second time we have received food and it is cold. Not going to order anymore from here.

Excellent! Picked up food from here last night and was very impressed, the service was excellent, with the staff being really friendly, polite and professional and the food was absolutely amazing... Easily one of the nicest Indian takeaways I've ever eaten! We'd originally tried to order with another Indian restaurant in the area and been told that they'd be over an hour wait, but these guys managed to get everything done in just over 20mins! Again, really good stuff, as the order was for a load of food (as we were having friends over), several mains, different rices and various sundries and they got it all spot on! Everyone was really impressed with what they'd eaten, there was a fair bit left and it was actually cheaper than the other restaurant anyway! I'm writing this review the following morning and the other thing I've noticed is that for the first time ever after eating Indian food, I've woken up not feeling really thirsty and without any stomach cramps! That might sound a bit weird, but this is something that always happens to me when I eat Indian cuisine and something I've come to expect, but strangely, not this time! I know this review goes on a bit, but I definitely think these guys deserve recognition for the great food and excellent service they provide and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a good quality Indian takeaway! Edit: I've been here about a dozen times since first writing this review and it's still excellent. Well done guys, top quality food!

What shocking service not once but 3 times weve had missing food items from our order we waited nearly 40mins, Hardly any chips... VERY DISAPPOINTING.

Definitely the best Indian food in the Pontyclun area (including the local Indian Restaurants food). Always hot, tasty, good quality ingredients and they don't spare those long lttle chillies in the Jalfrezi! Also, they always include complimentary side dish, poppadom and mint sauce so it's good value as well.

Worst Indian I've ever had! Food was cold forgot the chips then come back out with chips but they where freezing too! This place used to be amazing massively gone down hill! Spent over £38 what a waste of money

I have a takeaway from here every Friday with my dad and I am never disappointed. The biryani’s and chicken tikka masala never disappoints and we always enjoy our meal. Portion sizes are just right and there is never any left overs. The naan breads are also amazing and I love to always have one to have as a dipping ingredient. Would definitely recommend having one again 😋

Sad to say (as I've had some really good meals from her of late), but the most recent experience was really poor! What was meant to be a 45 minute wait turned into two hours, unbelieveable levels of shouting and angry discussion in the kitchen and then the food itself. Oily, poor quality curry which all tasted the same when we finally got it home. Some of it was just about edible. Will be reluctant to return in the near future.

Little to say but first class. Excellent food, excellent choice, excellent price and excellent service. I've had several meals of late from here and every one has been first class. They even throw in extra poppadoms and a veg side dish. The veg naga is top class!

Zeera always gives excellent service! They are the only Indian to cater for my nut allergy and completely understand the situation. The food is always excellent and is constantly at a high standard. So disappointed..ordered a collection meal for 8.30 booked taxi for 8.40..on arrival was told it would b another 5 minutes. ..9.0.clock finally got meal..and an extra £6.00 ON taxi before we started. 5 minute drive home and food was cold.

I’ve used Zeera many times and for the most part they are good. Abdul is a real character and always does his best to please.

Hadn’t been here before but it was recommended by a friend who lives in Pontyclun. Very friendly staff. I ordered a dhansak, a saag side dish and jeera rice. It was ready after 15 minutes and came in a large bag with some raita, onion salad and some poppadums. It was excellent and I couldn’t eat it all so I had lunch the next day! All for less than a tenner.

Had a takeaway from Zeera yesterday. Excellent choice and excellent price also. Along with rice and bread, I ordered several main dishes and a main Naga Veg dish. Excellent tastes and flavours, well presented, hot and with smashing service. £23 and enough food for four people. They are busy on a weekend as one would expect, so ordering in advance is advised. Would certainly sugest this place as a viable option for the vegetarian / vegan who likes Indian food (and doesnt want to pay over the odds)!

Visited Zeera Whilst Down From London Visiting Friends In Pontyclun Went For The Chicken Naga which was Absolutely Delicious very Hot & Spicy Just The Way I Like it Also the Keema Fried Rice Was Delicious Topped Off with A Keema Naan which was Equally as Good This will be my Go to place when Visiting Friends

Being a vegan I always ask if there's food available on menu. I had a lovely response from the friendly man answering. He happily discussed dishes and was willing to adapt them for a vegan. Explained delivery time starts at 6 so would receive food by 6.15pm. Food arrived on time. It was really hot in temp, tasty and very filling. Loved it. Will definitely be ordering again Thanks zeera

I’ve been getting my take away from here for a number of years and have finally decided to endorse this business. I have never had a bad meal. The service is very good and the staff are very happy to help you decide on a different dish depending on your preferences.

We've had a few takeaways from here and it's always spot on! Always nice and hot and the owner is always friendly and chatty! Definitely recommend this for an Indian takeaway. The Boti kebab is bloody amazing!! Highly recommended

Popped in on the off chance as the usual was minus their chef and I was getting tired of wrong delivery or other excuses. For Zeera this wasn’t the case. First impressions was the cleanliness and friendly attitude given by the staff. The gentleman at the counter went above board explaining their menu and alternatives for vegetarians. Food was prompt, very tasteful, good enough to become my new regular. Great place!

Been using this Indian for the last year! Such a gem! We have tried all the Indians in pontyclun since we moved here 8 years a go and this is hands down the best by far!! Such lovely staff from ordering to delivering, so polite and accommodating and the food just tops it off! Quick delivery time and pipping hot! Myself and my boyfriend love to try new places and were both so glad that we tried zeera! We went for the Captain Patila, lamb Saag & veg baji and they even threw in a free rice! The service was incredible; from the recommendations they gave us to the free dish and the warm and friendly welcome. So overwhelmed by their amazing customer service. I would have to say I'd never want to go anywhere else for an Indian again. Definitely happy to give Zeera my money! Food was brilliant, all round happy experience!

I have eaten from this takeaway for a few years now and I have to say the quality is always consistently excellent my wife is vegetarian and I am a vegan and they cater for both of our dietary requirements and the selection is amazing.

Ordered a takeaway over the phone, collected it within half an hour, it was hot and tasty, we had a free side portion of a zeera aloo Gobi which was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful, it’s great to have this place in Pontyclun, we like it.

We went to this Indian tonight to buy a takeaway. The man was really helpful in recommending food. When we got home the food was dished up and we realised we had been given the wrong food. As it was already on the plate and mixed up we ate it anyway , but we're a little disappointed as it was very different from our order. I rang to tell the restaurant and the gentleman said that they were really sorry and that they had sent staff out to knock on doors in our street to give us the correct order. (I had mentioned in passing the area and steet where we live) I looked out and saw them knocking on doors and asking for us. I explained that I had eaten the other meal. They were not concerned about that but just wanted to apologise for the mistake and make sure we had our correct order. They said to put it in the fridge and enjoy it tomorrow. The food was Absolutely free of charge. I am overwhelmed at their concern and customer care and cannot recommend this company enough. And the food was delicious. We always use this restaurant from now on . Thank you.

Great food Found this place by chance and have had some very good food on a number of occasions. Can get busy so sometimes there can be a wait but mostly worth that wait.
