Zaza Rickmansworth in Three Rivers

Very nice restaurant in the old part of rickmansworth. Service and food was spot on. Lovely warm atmosphere. Typical southern prices which are confusing for a North Yorkshire lad who wonders why you all pay so much down south?? Guessing same price as anywhere else in the town.

Good food a bit noisy but was Christmas eve

A very good meal served in a friendly and professional manner by interested staff. An older building but not excessively noisy, and given a 2-hour slot for our table. Parking at the back in local authority carparks accessible via neighbouring street.

Nice atmospheric small Italian restaurant. Good friendly service. Starter good, Main OK.

Zaza Rickmansworth is my favourite place to eat. Food is always great and I love the atmosphere. Staff are always brilliant as well

Lovely place with friendly staff … food was amazing and service on top. We had special starters that were really good. We ask for recommendations and they recommend filled pasta that was really samazing , definitely will be back.

I got he mozarella starters and a pizza beginning with C (meaty). I loved them both! Didn't like the beams, being tall doesn't help. Food on the other's plates tasted just as good. Nice atmosphere. Overall, I think I prefer the one in Bushey bit I would come here again just for the pizza!

The perfect lunch, great service, vibe, food and setting. We had the Zucchini fries to share to start, then the meatball pasta and a chicken salad and it was amazing.Thank you Zaza, I will definitely return.

Loved it! Went with a friend and she ordered the meatballs pasta and a grilled chicken salad for me and all was tasty. Service was excellent, place really cosy. I would go again :) There is no parking as restaurant is on the main street but there is plenty of parking less than 2min away. Prices are fair, good portions

Fantastic meal, massive portions, go hungry

I’ve rated this place before and nothings changed, it’s still brilliant. But, there was no Emily serving us previously, there was this time. I don’t know her, am not related to her, she simply served our food. She is brilliant, a real breath of fresh air. She created a pizza for me, was a pleasure to chat with and is both friendly and professional. Go to Zaza”s for the food, but seek out Emily to serve you!

The food was 4* or 5* however the service was 1*. Shared a starter of flatbread and main courses of calzone and pasta. Food quality was good, it was hot and nicely presented. The Maitre de who showed us to our table was good however the waitress was very inattentive and made many errors. Multiple requests for menus, multiple requests to order food, several requests for drinks, incorrect drinks brought etc etc.

The food was good. But the waitress threw the bill on the table for us, that is I can’t acceptable.

A really lovely evening. The staff were always attentive and the food was very good. A couple of things they did unexpectedly really made the evening special, will definitely go back soon.

The lunchtime two course offer was pretty good value for money and the portions were generous. No room for dessert after that.

Great italian restaurant with lovely outdoor seating.

My family and I have been here many times and the food is always fantastic. The restaurant is set in a cute little house and has a lovely atmosphere. The service is good. The food main options on offer are: pizzas, pastas, meats ( including steak, chicken and fish), which are all delicious. The cost of mains is around £15, with pizzas slightly cheaper. The staff are friendly and always cater to special occasions too.

Wonderful family meal as a celebration, the service was excellent (it’s the little things like ensuring the table water was refilled and spotting you had the wrong knife and changing it immediately) and the food was also really tasty. Will definitely be visiting next time we are in the area

We visited on the Monday after the King’s coronation. Despite the certain busy days that must have preceded, we received incredible service and the food was great. Our visit was made so good all thanks to one person: Jan. I’ve worked in the hospitality industry for a decade, and it’s safe to say that he is one of the most professional and proficient front of house member I’ve met in a long time. He had the perfect balance of upselling and keeping us happy: any changes we wanted to make to a dish? He would agree AND recommend a twist. If we said we were full between courses? He would offer a 5 minute break! Not hungry for dessert? He would recommend something delicious that didn’t feel too heavy. Jan is an absolute asset to the team and the company; I only hope that when I go back next he will still be there because he has a bright future ahead, either running his own restaurant or as a consultant working elsewhere in the hospitality industry.

We went to Zaza for dinner one Saturday night for dinner. We sat upstairs and found it incredibly noisy, so much so that I couldn't talk to the person sat opposite me. This wasn't due to the other people there it is just the acoustics of the room, with its hard wood floors and low ceilings. Although the food and service were OK I wouldn't go back at a busy time as I didn't really enjoy the experience.

Nice restaurant with seating over 2 floors giving it an intimate feel. Atmosphere was friendly and relaxed with helpful attentive staff. Food portions were generous, quality high and prices reasonable. The wine list was pretty good too.

Can´t wrote from every local, but I was there, invited by Managing from our subsidiary. Maybe the table was reserved, can´t say. Eatings was good but not really italian, taste more englisch :) . Drinks are good, not cheap I think. Service friendly. Price no idea, was invited.

Best prawns I have ever had in long time ! The desserts are really fresh and delicious especially the panna cotta. The staff were very welcoming , friendly and efficient. Made us feel like at home.

I visited as part of a group birthday booking. The room upstairs was a lovely setting and the staff and food were amazing. Everyone enjoyed their food and the staff were great handling our group and the children present. The team should be very proud especially our lead attendee/waiter I think was called Peter. Amazing people skills.

Well, this old bird rocked up with her daughter and grandkids for Valentines day lunch. From start to finish it was excellent. Great food and the childrens menu was terrific for a change, we were trying to eat theirs! Staff are very smiley and Jan, our waiter was excellent. I have just had a lovely lunch at Zaza and wanted to give a special mention to Abby who attended to our needs and wants with a smile and was really lovely. The food was sublime as always just a really great place that never fails to impress.

A delightful restaurant inside a small,old building..lots of character. Staff attentive and professional. Atmosphere good, children welcome. Food yummy. Due to age of building, toilets are up narrow, steep stairs.

This was my second time at ZAZA Rickmansworth and am a regular customer of the Bushey venue, and an occasional customer of the Berkhamstead venue. We had booked for 4 and turned up with 5 and were very grateful that the venue managed to accomodate an additional person on the spot. We felt the venue looked a little tired. The service once we had sat down was much less attentive than expected from a ZAZA. We weren’t offered drinks on arrival, we had to ask to order and we had to chase the water and ice we had ordered twice. The food service was more prompt and the food was lovely and great value for money - we had the Tuesday night set menu deal for £28.90 including wine. We weren’t checked on either during the starter or main to ask if our food was ok. If service is automatically added to the bill then the basics should at least be faultless. Not sure I would hurry back to this particular branch of ZAZA.

Visited here for an evening with friends on a Friday evening. The restaurant was busy when we arrived at 7.30 and getting busier. We received a friendly greeting and were shown to our upstairs table. Whilst all our party had yet to arrive we did have to attract the servers attention to order an aperitif. The menu was reasonably extensive with a good choice. I opted for the Calamari followed by the Pollo Picante. I’m afraid that the Calamari, whilst plentiful, was chewy and quite dry as indeed was the chicken and chips. In retrospect, I wish I’d opted for the Sea Bass as a main since I understand from my chums that it was excellent. Whilst we had a superb evening it was due to the company rather than the fare which I found expensive for the quality provided which goes for the wine too. I think that, in the event that I return, which is unlikely, I would choose if possible a table downstairs since it was very noisy upstairs with the acoustics. Overall, an underwhelming meal that I felt was over-priced and low on quality which was a shame.

Lovely Italian restaurant in a very old and quaint historic building. Service is quick and efficient staff very efficient. Food is outstanding quality and menu had plenty of choices. Drinks menu also has very good selection. Stairs to upper floor are steep and narrow so if you have mobility issues I suggest you ask for a table on ground floor.....but toilets also upstairs which is a nuisance. It's always busy so reservations are a good idea.

As the organiser of a luncheon for a number of Toastmasters I am pleased to say our private dining experience could not have been more successful on the 26/10/2022. The food and service was excellent. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our group. Our waiter was excellent. I am based in Kent, how about opening a branch in Canterbury?
