Zaza Pinner in Harrow

Visited for dinner for the first time and I was very impressed with the decor of the restaurant. The ambiance is subdued with low level lighting and the tree inside really breaks the place up. The bar at the front is nice and simple. I like that the second room is separate by a solid wall which avoids the restaurant being too echoey. We ordered a few starters and can recommend the fungi frutti and bruschetta. For mains we had the penne arrabbiata, spinach and ricotta ravioli and the grilled goats cheese salad. All very good. On service, overall okay but found it to be a bit rushed and pushy at times even though we were the second sitting of the evening and our table would not be turned again as there was plenty of room in the restaurant.

Reasonably priced, good selection of wines, very generous portions of excellent quality all added up to a fine evening shared with a friend

We have been visiting Zaza in Pinner since it first opened, and have been regular visitors ever since. Today, we have received the worst customer service from the manager (female, dark hair, Eastern European accent) and will not be returning. The levels of rudeness and arrogance were breathtaking. Pinner, Hatch End and the surrounding areas are not short of great restaurants with incredible hospitality. We will be taking our custom elsewhere. Credit to the waiting staff, who did a fine job under such appalling management. Having looked at recent reviews, we are not alone in our observations. I suggest Head Office look into who was managing this restaurant today at lunchtime on Mother's Day. There is a real risk of you losing good business due to this impudent woman.

Service disingenuous but the pasta…the pasta…is amazing!!

A lot of store bought things, especially pastry tart she'll. Very dry and obviously old, although the chef did not agree and sent the waitress back to the table to disagree! Just own it: you didn't make it, it's old and you got caught.

A lovely Italian restaurant with great food and great staff. Just make sure that for weekends you reserve in advance as they can be fully booked.

There was a group of 5 of us ladies and a child for a meal. The meal was lovely, really good food and the service was excellent to begin with. However, once we finished our meal we asked for our bill without the service charge. Once that was mentioned our servers demeanour completely shifted. Suddenly her face dropped and she began speaking to us very curtly with short snappy sentences. She then did not come back to our table and sent another server however the remainder of our time there our original server continuously was talking about us, pointing and whispering and sending dirty looks our way. Staff were gathered in a group by us all looking and whispering which made us feel so uncomfortable. At one point a server asked us why we wanted the service charge off if the service was fine. We were fully intending to leave a tip however the behaviour after we had mentioned the service charge made us feel so awful we decided against it.

Very enjoyable lunch with a friend. Good service and delicious food. I really enjoyed the spaghetti carbonara and the cheesecake was quite nice but a little sweet and bland for me. Atmosphere was very pleasant - we were able to have a good chat with an element of privacy too. Only negative was the queue for the toilet. There is only one and 2 of us ended up waiting...

As always, food was good, as was the atmosphere. Unfortunately there was some confusion regarding the booking and they were expecting people not two. Staff seemed quite put out that they had to find a different table. Pizza was tasty and always enjoy the Olive Tree.

Was okay experience waiters were nice but the food was disappointing the chicken diavola was basically just boiled there was no grilling on it at all and the flavour was not nice at all. The garlic flatbread with mozzarella was awful it was like eating a frozen pizza with cardboard cheese on it. And my partner got penne Tuscana and the chicken used inside has skin on it and stuff it wasn’t even chicken breast. Only thing that was nice was the funghi fritti which u can’t really mess up.

Want there for my bday, by far the best Italian food . The food was amazing, the staff are wonderful.

Nice venue, food good but overpriced

On our recent meet up with friends we changed our restaurant we normally go to after drinks to Zaza from the local curry house, well we couldn't have been more happy Zaza was a great choice as the food was great as well as the service. Thank you Zaza we will be back.

The service was okay, but the atmosphere was heavenly! Very pleasant and interesting decor. The food was even ok, the bruschetta and mushrooms for the starter were great, but unfortunately the carbonara lacked flavor and depth, even after adding pepper, salt and a large amount of parmesan cheese, which unfortunately seemed to be rather indistinctive. The pizza was normal, very thin but ok. Nice place, maybe it's worth trying something else there.

Impromptu lunch date on a Tuesday....the joint was jumping - I had a UK traditional spaghetti Bolognese, my partner a ricotta pasta...both went down well...as had the calamari starter.

Smart Italian restaurant with an olive tree winding throughout its interior. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Mezzaluna Croccante which had a soft pastry, an oozing cheesy centre and perfectly complemented by garlic mayo. The garlic mushrooms were equally delicious and had a crispy coating. The vegetarian risotto was tasty and all portion sizes were generous. The Bucatini con pesto pasta had heaps of flavour and definitely worth a second trip. On the other hand the garlic and pesto flatbread had little flavour and was yearning for seasoning. On the dessert front the warm brownie was cold and annoyingly accompanied by salted caramel ice cream instead of vanilla which ruined the whole taste. Great pasta options and really friendly staff. Inside decor is nice. Pizza bases weren’t the best but I do recommend the crab and prawn linguine which is the dish we order every time.

I had an amazing experience at Zaza! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a picture perfect olive tree inside who gives the restaurant a magical feel, making it a perfect spot for a lovely date. We went there for our anniversary dinner, and what made the dinner even more special was the lovely surprise of a free glass of prosecco from the restaurant. I can't wait to visit again and try more of their fantastic dishes! Highly recommended!

Could use some more toilets for when it's busy. Also toilet floors are wet due to the hand drier not being efficient. Food was really good, fab portion sizes and a great kids menu. We will definitely be back

Had a quick lunch on weekday. I ordered calamari and meatballs. The ingredients are of good quality and cooking is perfectly done.

Quite good. Had the lunch menu, the starter and sides were excellent. For the pizza they used flower at the bottom not semolina, deluding the taste a bit.

I've been here so many times because my father in law loves it. The staff are great the italian food is loved by him and the kids but I just can't get excited by it. But I feel a better person when I go and don't make a fuss, ( obviously I always have two courses and kind of enjoy it). Thankfully the father in law is moving.

Zaza is a great spot for satisfying Italian food. The meatballs, lamb shank, and branzino were delicious, leaving a positive impression. The limoncello elderflower spritz was a delightful surprise, and I found myself wishing I had tried this combination earlier. The friendly staff added to the overall experience, making it a pleasant dining outing. If you're looking for a good Italian meal, Zaza is worth a visit.

One of our favourite restaurants in Pinner - excellent food, service and atmosphere.

We are vegetarian. We took three starters, Goat Cheese was good, the other two was decent. For the mains, the Fiorentina pizza and Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli was awful. The Mushroom risotto was OK. The Pizza base was not fresh, Fireaway pizzas are better. Ravioli was hard, seemed they got it from M&S next door. I will never recommend this to anyone who loves Italian cuisine. Pros: People and service is good. Ambiance is nice. Shame the food doesn't taste good.

Attentive staff and food was fantastic

Always a pleasure eating at Zaza in Pinner. Great service and delicious food.

Visited today with a friend for lunch. Ordered off the lunchtime set menu which represents fantastic value for money at less than £15 a head for two courses. Very generous portion sizes (maybe too generous- hopefully high levels of food wastage aren’t a problem overall). Bill came to just under £60 for the two of us including a Hugo spritz and Aperol spritz and service. Fast, friendly, attentive and non-intrusive service from the friendly front of house staff. Always a winner from this chain and will definitely be back.

We dined here in April and the food and atmosphere was really lovely. Unfortunately, we came in during a lunch time rush and had a hungry toddler with us. However, the staff went over and above to make it right and they ended up packing our lunch for us and it just tasted so divine. I would definitely eat here again. Thanks for looking after us.

I ordered a Gin & Tonic and got charged £15. I don’t get charged £15 for a G&T in Mayfair/Central London bars. Don’t know how they feel it’s acceptable to charge this, especially with mediocre food! Will not be returning and will defo be spreading my recommendation to avoid this extortionate restaurant.

Zaza in Pinner is excellent. Very good food at reasonable prices and very pleasant staff. I will visit again soon.

We have been to this place many times as its one of our favourites and never been disappointed with service, food, ambience and of course desserts. Definitely recommend. Would like to see more vegetarian options in pizza.

This is amazing Italian restaurant tucked away in Love lane, Pinner. Went here for dinner with my friends and was treated to some of the best Bruschetta, Pizza and Prawn linguini. Amazing service, very nice ambience, perfect for a chill and relaxed Italian dinner.

Nice ambience and lovely food. Been here few times and will be visiting again too. Only disappointment was with the cutlery for desserts which needs replacing. It was 3 stainless spoon given to us and all of them had gone black metal (see pic) so hoping Manager will take action.

Although I think they are a chain the food was good and freshly made- they were also very accommodating of families. Would definitely return .

A new find and a very good one. Delicious arrabiata and pizza and fresh starter. Very friendly service and a good ambience..and reasonable too. Loved the strawberry cheesecake with the ice cream and crushed amaretto biscuits! Delicious!!

Came to Zaza to celebrate a birthday! The food was lovely and came out in great time. Only improvement was after mains were served and finished it took a while to clear the tables and order dessert and coffee, considering it was a Monday and wasn't as busy by that time.

After a visit to the Heath Robinson Museum we walked around the shops looking for somewhere to have lunch and found this restaurant, which was completely new to us, as is Pinner itself, to be honest. Italian restaurants are our favourite, and we settled down at our allotted table and chose from an interesting lunch menu. We went for starters and mains, this time, with a small glass of red wine each and a glass of water. Everything was well presented and the service was excellent. Attentive without getting in the way of a relaxing lunch. The restaurant was fairly busy and the atmosphere was just about right....a bit of a buzz from other people chatting. Zaza is a tastefully decorated restaurant where you sit under a huge olive tree, yet you are indoors!! Plants and flowers aplenty with some glass screening to create a bit more intimacy. All the food was delicious with good servings without feeling over-faced. The wine was lovely. We passed on dessert and just had two coffees. All in all, a lovely 5-star experience!! Even the toilets were spotlessly clean. I would expect to book here for an evening meal but as Friday lunchtime walk-ins we were impressed and would recommend this restaurant happily.

I recently visited Zaza restaurant and had a fantastic experience! The calamari and meatballs as starters were delicious, with just the right amount of seasoning and a crispy texture. The chicken risotto for my main dish was also scrumptious, with a rich and creamy sauce that perfectly complemented the tender chicken. To top it off, the staff were incredibly friendly and made me and my friends feel at home throughout our meal. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a delicious Italian feast and warm hospitality.

I've been here a few times now and the food is always a hit. I ordered the chicken and n'duja dish and it was great The staff are kind and helpful and the interior looks amazing! I'll definitely be back and I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for some nice Italian food! Make sure you make a booking first though as it can be quite busy and you aren't always guaranteed a table

Went for lunch on Christmas eve, ordered prawns for starters and steak for mains. Both very tasty. The service was great considering how busy they were! Definitely worth going for an Italian, nice atmosphere too!

Absolutely loved this cute restaurant. The preserved tree inside is gorgeous and perfect place to dine. Staff are amazing. Food was amazing. My absolute favourite dish was the brushetta and veg risotto. Prices are a little on the pricy side considering the portions but taste was 10/10. Highly recommend and would definitely go back.

We were party of 12 and everyone agreed that Zaza is an excellent restaurant. Food was so tasty and ambiance was great with an olive tree inside as a talking point.

Great little Italian restaurant with a wide variety of food and wine options. Great food and very well priced, the mussels were absolutely delightful (should be on the main menu and not a specials only item if you ask me). Only part that let it down is we were placed at the very entrance when there was ample space on the other side of the seating area but was refused to move to that part. Will be visiting again.
