Good food service excellent and atmosphere Very comfortable

Great overall dining experience. Though thought for a Wednesday night felt like we were a little bit rushed through our meal to turn over the table. Food was great. Drink was great. Really happy G&Ts were served as they are meant to as suggested by the distillery. We'll be back.

A tastefully decorated and modern-style informal Italian restaurant, this is a great choice for lunch on the Bushey high street. The Mezzaluna Croccante and Trofie Amatriciana are the dishes I tried, and they were wonderfully delicious.

Recently moved to a nearby area and discovered this restaurant. Great service and great food each time we’ve been. The only thing I’d say is allow time as can be a bit slow - not enough staff by the looks of it. I haven’t deducted a star though as the quality of the food is way better than any other italian we’ve tried within a half an hour radius

Ruined 21st birthday. Just bought out birthday cake without informing guests/ parents, so no one at table prepared and no cameras ready.. also were intimated to leave as next guests were standing by table making comments to staff that they should have tables as all their party were there even though we had table booked for another 15 minutes .

Been coming here for years. Booked at 12:30 At 12:30 called informing that I was going to be 5/10min max late due the the closure of the main road due to flooding (they knew that as all the locals have been affected by) This guy called Alex answer the phone. He recognise me as l'm a regular client!! I was as always very polite and his answer was: OK BUT NEED THE TABLE BACK SOON My answer was not to worry as I was going to be only 5 min just the time to park and again his comment was : I NEED THE TABLE BACK At that point l've told him... you know me it's only me my wife and my daughter... we always eat fast and I'm aware of the 2 hrs turn around policy as it is clearly stated on my booking confirmation l've told him, look I'm on my way. Again from this guy, no friendly comments not see you in a bit, just the 3rd I NEED THE TABLE BACK in 2 hrs. By then I was really annoyed and didn't want to go But as I was with my wife and 13 years old daughter I decided to go I've told him see you in a bit and you can have the table back as soon we finished but make sure your service its not going to be slow!!! We arrived there and as I was saying good morning to the staff at the door (as mentioned we are regulars) I've seen this Alex. Did t want to make fuss but the smirk on his face when he saw me I couldn't resist and asked him: What's your problem today???? He showed me to the table again with that smirk!! I was wating for his apologies instead again he was explaining that today the need tables etc etc I was very annoyed and the other staff noticed that!! We sat, order taken waited 40 min ( don't know why as only 1 table was eating and food not coming out) did t make a fuss and eat regularly Pointed out that many tables were late specially a table of 4 next to me, 2 guests arrived and 35 min were wating the other 2 guest that were late... guess what Alex??? When the other 2 arrived He rushed at the table to say hi to this guys (clearest he k ew them) And total different treatment than me politely calling to inform 5 min late... the waiter Gabriel that served us noticed that and I pointed out to him... look at Alex, didn't worry about the table back with them Shocking experience This guy ruined my family lunch.

This place never disappoints, great variety of food on the menu, service always with a smile and a greeting. Good cocktails, fresh crisp Peroni on tap, looking forward to experiencing the new garden area in the summer! Weekday lunch specials are great value too!

Lovely staff, service, food and setting

My husband wanted to surprise me on our date night,he's decided to drive 45min so I can enjoy some Italian food and see the lovely olive trees. It's a nice restaurant. Seating arrangements are a little bit tight and we had someone's back literally 10cm away from our table. Nice service, polite staff. Unfortunately for us the food was disappointing. 4 large mushrooms so overcooked we barely managed to get forks into them. Large piece of Pate next to 4 small pieces of bread. My lamb shank was chewy and quite hard. I am passionate about food and being part of the restaurant industry for a long time I must say I was very disappointed.

Lovely, good quality food and excellent service. We have been coming here for special occasions for some years now. Highly recommended.

Some friends came from abroad and we decided to bring them here for dinner. Didn’t let us down, enjoyed all dishes. Loved the goats cheese tart, the ravioli and finished off my meal with the crème brûlée which was fairly larger than expected compared to other places.

Had a lovely meal with friends. Very reasonably priced but so filling and extremely enjoyable food. Had the crab and prawn linguine and would definitely recommend. Seating very comfortable and atmospheric. Staff extremely polite, friendly and helpful.

This is a really nice venue The interior is beautiful. Soft lighting nice seating areas. Real olive trees internally. A wonderful, covered outdoor area . High spec very modern.

Great deal for 2 courses lunch and the kids menu are better than a lot of other options in the market. Good sign that my kids finished their plates.

Always a lovely place to dine with a characteristic building and top quality food at reasonable prices. Our go to dishes would be the vegetarian giardino pasta and the vegetarian risotto.

An Italian restaurant that can't get pizza and pasta right is not an Italian restaurant. We ordered from their lunch menu and only 1 course out of 4 was any good-the chicken liver starter.The calamari starter was poor in comparison to other places I have been.The calamari pieces were very small and dry. The main course of spaghetti and meatballs was disgusting.Way overcooked spaghetti completely stripped of taste owing to the fact it was literally cooked to mush.The sauce was poor,it advertised that it contained chilli in it.The sauce was not even slightly hot.The meatballs were not tasty at all. The margarita pizza with the addition of salami and mushroom as 2 extra toppings was equally poor very soggy in the middle and hardly any mushrooms. All the courses suffered from cheap ingredients being used.I had to eat most of the food myself as my wife wouldn't eat most of hers To cap it all service charge was added to the bill automatically.There was no way I was going to pay service charge to what amounted to disgusting food,so I got the waitress to remove it. Needless to say,we will not be eating at Zaza's again.

The only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is the amount of time you have to wait for your food when it’s busy. They extended the restaurant as it was so good/popular but they haven’t extended the kitchen. Having said that - the food was great so worth the wait. If you’ve got a special occasion/a group ask for the table by the tree when booking as it’s the best place to sit! Car park near is a few minutes walk away & the toilets are also up a flight of stairs so something to consider if you have mobility issues. Staff were super friendly & accommodating, I don’t think it is dog friendly though.

Garlic bread was just a flat bread with a bit of cheese on, for sharing not everyone got the cheese. Fries were served with the container dropping on the table so had to wait for fresh ones to be fried. Calamari was nice. Main course the pasta chicken had been tasteless and preheated and not freshly cooked . One young tall male waiter wearing the white shirt with a small top knot was very rude and told us that we couldn't change our table as all the tables were taken due to bookings which wasn't true as the tables remained empty!

I love this place and have been a regular for years. My children love it because of the staff, the food and the atmosphere and I love it for that and the chicken salad and coconut ice cream. With any expansion there are likely to be teething problems and I hope that as they staff up to manage the increased covers that they will be able to maintain quality and service. I’ve eaten there once for lunch and once for dinner in the last two weeks and I wouldn’t say they are quite there yet. I really hope that they can make a success of what is now a very large restaurant and wish them lots of luck.

Dry pizza, the chicken pizza had chicken that was stale and you could taste it. I wouldn’t go again. The food had a taste of “cheapness” to it. It almost felt like I was dining at a chain restaurant.

we’ve been coming to zaza for the past 12 years and it’s one of our favourite italian restaurants. absolutely love the interior design and outdoor back garden ! food is delicious, fresh and consistent, lovely service from staff, highly recommended !!

Italian restaurant its always a challange in italy, imagine out italy. Food is generally good, but its not 100% original italian. I do reccomend, and I sure if chef is informed, an italian dish will be produced.

Usually very good but on the last visit service was incredibly poor and slow.

The steak i had was truly one of the nicest I've had anywhere 😋. The fries that came with it though could be nicer. But overall we all enjoyed our meals. Would definitely go back there again.

The atmosphere of the place is very unique with its giant tree, modern seating and really aesthetic interior! Service was fairly quick and food was outstanding. They do some really nice dishes and it's a great place for a date or a meal with family! 5 stars all around!

Very nice date night with my beautiful wife. Olives/bread and a glass of Prosecco sufficient followed by risotto’s and a bottle of Pinot! Spoilt a little by wait for dessert orders, but made up for it by wiping the desserts/coffees from the bill and bringing us very nice liqueurs - defo will return! Out again with the lovely Mrs C! Could not fault food. Excellent. Nice atmosphere too. This time shown to table, no menu or drinks request, had to ask ‘any chance of a menu and drinks order?!’. Same again when it came to desserts and coffees….Two stars deducted as paid no attention to last review…..

Well presented, clean and really friendly service. It's the first time that I have visited and I must say I wasn't disappointed. From the drinks, starters to mains all thoughry enjoyed!

The dish I ordered wasn't prepared inline with what I asked for. When I asked why I was told a pack of lies by the waiter who then insisted I have missing item "on the side". Completely ruined the meal. I would have respected it if they'd just apologised and redone the dish rather than trying to make a fool out of me.

Beautiful inside and out. The menu is superb. Our child is coeliac and she had a full gluten free menu to her delight. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. My husband had veal which he said was delicious and cooked to perfection. We love it here.

Food was ok. Over priced in my eyes. Service was quick. Very noisy. Will not visit again. Bella Rosa across the street is much better.

Had an enjoyable time, only slightly marred for us by it being so busy (Saturday evening 7pm). However, if you accept this, then there is alot to recommend. Very impressed with my lamb shank.

Really nice spot, went here with my cousin and her partner for a bday meal. It was lovely, staff were warm and attentive, food was quality and aesthetic. I would recommend for pasta the salmon and prawns, also went for cheesecake which was 👌🏾 Parking restrictions until 6.30pm

Lovely atmosphere, got a bit loud as more and more people popped in for dinner, but that's all expected. Service was good, could be more attentive, had to look for the waiter a few times. Food was delicious, portion size - British, as we say, could feed 3 for 2 ;) only dish we were not completely happy was crab and prawn linguine, which had little to none crab that we could find and prawns were on the rubbery side, pasta was very good though! This is another addition to our short list of halal-free restaurants around Watford that we'll be coming back, nice one!

Decent food, service a bit slow (waiting 30mins for main course) but did give a birthday tiramisu! Seems to be not as busy these days
