Lovely service with a family vibe. Food was excellent. Great for sharing as a pair or a group. Hummus is so tasty.

Great food and service only a small restaurant so maybe best to book. We shared the meat platter between 3 it's £45 but there's lots to enjoy. I'll be visiting again

Had an impromptu Tuesday date night with my husband. All round excellent experience. The service was spot on - friendly and welcoming. You can tell the owner takes pride in what he does. The food was delicious and unbelievable value. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again to try out the specials.

We've been coming here for years and it never fails. Sometimes you find this little gem and everything just clicks. Contacting Zaytoon is easy, service is superb and without fail on the highest possible level, atmosphere is that of visiting friends for an intimate dinner and the food is always fresh, cooked to order and sourced locally and daily. I cannot honestly think of a better place to celebrate a special occasion with your family and friends, or just to come by and have a casual meal. Prices are amazing and you are looking for c. £25-£30 per person (food and drinks), but you'll always leave with your stomach full to the brim. Honestly, if you can, arrange transport home after a meal, because the portions are so big and so delicious that you won't be able to stop yourself from eating and all you'll want to do after is just go to bed and sleep content. Thank you Zaytoon for always making us feel welcome and for holding such high standards in the time of chain restaurants and overall mediocrity. May your doors never close!

Very nice people serving delicious food. I highly recommend this people and all the dishes. Portions are generous and they are great for sharing. Just a heads up: You need to pay either by cash or bank transfer.

#RecommendedbySollyDj Place has a really good vibe. The gentleman who took our order and the waiter who served us were really nice. We tried several dishes and everything tasted really good. To an Indian person who likes spice, this is mild and full of flavour. I loved the moussaka and the tabbouleh. The platter was ginormous and good thing there were 8 people to eat one veg and one meat platter. Parking is free and on the side roads.

Delicious food. We opted for a Meze for 2 between 3 of us, and it was plenty of food! Very tasty indeed.

This is one of my favourite spots in chorlton! The owner and chef George is a lovely man and well worth the trip down just for him and the service is top notch, you feel like part of the family! Special thank you to the waitress Stephanie for the amazing service! The food is the best Lebanese food I have ever had and would highly recommend the mezze plater and the prawn starter, they are just too good! Would highly recommend to everyone I meet! I will note it’s best to book as it is always packed out and you’re going to want to get a table to try their food cause it just that good!

This is a wonderful family-run restaurant with lovely food, reasonable prices and large portions. All is freshly prepared, and the friendly service makes for a great night out.

Went for dinner here when visiting friends. Seems to be family run, everyone was lovely and welcoming. Shared the meat mezze. Very filing potion size for 3 people, very fair pricing. It had halloumi, falafel, grilled chicken , koftas, lamb chops, houmous, plenty to choose from! Everything was delicious. The only thing I wasn’t fond of was the lamb chops, a bit tough for me. We left absolutely stuffed, lovely wine as well.

Really loved it here. The waitress and chef were lovely, huge portions and could really taste the quality. Best Lebanese I've tried. Not as cheap as I've had in the past but the quality wins hands down. 10/10

Really great food, all the staff are lovely. It's always booked up so call in advance to reserve a table. We usually get the veg platter which is huge! Along with some mains but my favorite is the moussaka.

Visited with family down from Scotland as we've eaten at Zaytoon before and enjoyed the food. Food on this visit was again great and super tasty. Food cooked perfectly and portions massive. Family run business and the girls who work there are friendly and very accommodating.

We went here tonight after a recommendation. The food was absolutely amazing and huge portions. The staff were polite and George the chef came over a few times to check on us. It was busy but still we could not fault the service or the food. We will definitely be back. What a beautiful little gem of a restaurant !

This restaurant is fabulous. I went last night and had the sharing meat mezze with one other person. It would probably be the perfect amount for 3 people but we polished off as much as we could and took leftovers home for lunch today 😍 the food was faultless and the chef/restaurant owner was so lovely and gave us some free baklava and choccies to finish off our evening (he said someone had bought them for him that morning and he’d almost finished the whole box so needed some help with them 😂) anyway I would highly recommend. Food, service and atmosphere all excellent. You can tell this small business is close to the owners heart and we need to support more local independents like this one! I will certainly be back ❤️

Having lived in Chorlton for 3 years I can say this is easily the best restaurant in town alongside Bar San Juan. We visit regularly and the food is always amazing - the dips, the meats, the fish, everything - portion sizes too. It blows other places like Jasmine out of the water. What’s also great is that it’s an independent family run restaurant and George, Nat and the family are the most welcoming and lovely people you could wish to meet. Top drawer.

Absolutely amazing! Not the longest menu in captivity, but if you can't find at least a starter and a main that will blow you away, there's no hope for you. Delightful staff (all one of her) and the chef is a lovely guy. The food is fresh, beautifully prepared and very nicely presented. Prices are silly cheap. Wine selection is a bit limited, but after the second bottle, who cares? Very highly recommended.

Disappointed - heard rave reviews about this place. Called up to book a table but wasn't hopeful, they said it was a quiet night (Tuesday) and to just walk in. When we turned up an hour later at 8pm, they told us they had closed for the night! I can't comment on the food as we never got to try it.

Having wanted to visit Zaytoon for a while, we spied our chance on a Sunday evening while they had some spare tables. Our waitress was really friendly and kept an eye on us throughout, making sure everything was nice for us, and that we had everything we needed. Our food was absolutely gorgeous - we hadn't quite expected that our unplanned evening ut was going to go so well! The fish I had was cooked to perfection and the lamb steak which my parter had was also cooked exactly as he had asked. It was a really nice touch when the chef came out to us to say hello and check everything was as we wanted too. We also had some complementary baklava at the end of the meal which was a lovely gesture. We didn't hesitate to leave a tip and we are so pleased to find a new local gem so close to home! Thank you again and we will be back soon!

First time visit for a takeaway at this gem of a place. Lockdown means they’re doing fixed takeaway menu only and it didn’t disappoint. Mixed grill - lamb & chicken skewers, kofta and shawarma, homous, halloumi, salad and falafel, cooked and dressed perfectly. Huge portion, amazing value for £20. It seems they have a wait list which doesn’t surprise me - get on it if you can. Simple concept, executed with real soul by this big-character father-daughter team. I look forward to trying to get a table once they re-open the restaurant.

Estamos pidiendo comida para recoger de Zaytoon la mayoría de las semanas como nuestro regalo del sábado por la noche, y no podemos recomendarlo lo suficiente. Para cualquiera que haya comido aquí en el pasado, la lubina es exactamente como la que obtendría en el restaurante (en otras palabras, deliciosa) y muy buena relación calidad-precio en 15. El plato de carne (20) y el meze de verduras (20) vienen con un montón de ensalada, halloumi a la parrilla y falafel. El crítico anterior que dijo que el plato de carne alimentado a una familia de cuatro fue perfecto. El meze de verduras es más que suficiente para alimentarnos a los dos durante dos noches. Zaytoon es una joya del sur de Manchester, dirigida por gente encantadora, y es genial ver cómo se han adaptado a las restricciones de COVID.

Stopped by on the off chance and the owners let us order a takeaway meat platter, and we eat it on the terrace outside. The tastiest food with the best service, couldn't have been happier, two adults two kids left fulfilled

Es genial ver a una empresa local adaptarse a los cambios y a las personas que la apoyan. Estoy deseando poder volver a sentarme en el restaurante cuando sea el momento adecuado para George.

100% recommend this fabulous place! We had a beautiful meal and were so well looked after including a gluten free friend who was well catered for. Highly recommended taking this whole restaurant for a large group.

This meal was incredible. Me and my partner both had fish on the bone and was incredible. Then were given some baklava to take home... The vibe was beautiful, felt as if we were in the owners house for dinner. Highly recommend

Incredible food, most authentic and delectable, true to its provenance. First class service from the chef and his daughter Natalie. Found out George, the chef is also a world champion in table football. One of my favourite restaurants in Manchester. 5 stars. Highly recommended.

This was my first visit. I found the decor very good. It's not overly fancy and it doesn't look shabby either. The owner and workers were all welcoming and polite. The food tasted really good. The pricing is reasonable, portions sizes are average and the food was freshly cooked. One of a handful of restaurants that I'm happy to return to in the future

Visited Zaytoon twice so far for dinner with a friend, following my father’s recommendation and we were not disappointed. The Owner and Chef, George, is so lovely and welcoming, as is his daughter. The food is cooked fresh to order with quality ingredients and is unbelievable value! On my second visit, I ordered the Special of BBQ red snapper and it was beautiful. I will return again soon as I love Lebanese cuisine and the food here is flavoursome with great portion sizes.

Really liked this bijou place would have given 5* if there was a bespoke wine or spirit range. Althought think you can bring your own🤔 I had grilled sea bass which was very tasty. Family run business and attentive to diner's needs. Best to ring to book table as can get busy.

Came with friends who had recommended this place in November. Didn’t want to write a review but now a couple months later feel compelled to do so. We shared a variety of starters and they were delicious. For mains 3 of us wanted the rack of the lamb but we told non available. Saturday night- surprised. Host recommended another lamb dish similar to Lamb Henry I suppose. It was horrible .my wife and I left ours as did one of the friends. It lacked taste and the lamb was like old boots. Didn’t complain as I would have done if there was just the 2 of us. Owner is a really nice guy and won us over and avoided a fuss a possible one star .So surprised by how good the ratings are but hey my poor comments will not really make a dent in the reviews.

Been here a few times now, food is delicious and service excellent. They have always accommodated our young family and the menu is reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.

Meal was fantastic from start to finish - we had 5 starters including the tabouleh, houmous, lamb shawarma,falafel and lamb kofteh. We also had the lamb kebab for mains. All outstanding with great flavours -a pleasure to eat. Very generous portion sizes, you will not be disappointed. The owner was then kind enough to give us some free baklava to share to finish the meal. Ten out of ten.
