Yummies Kebab House in Newport

I'd give it a 1/2 star if I could. Disgusting attitude after complaining about the smallest donor kebab I've ever had, with barely any meat in it. "You get what you pay for was his response". When asked if they could do anything to compensate for being unhappy about food and service, they refused to do anything about and was happy even for me to not order from them again. That was manager's response too! Not wasting my money on future.

Nice chips and kebab used to be my go to place at the end of night out in Newport many years ago and I enjoyed as much as I did back then

Lamb Doner meat was like paper. Usually is really nice

ordered pepperoni pizza with bbq sauce, and the pizza was really nice, and the bbq sauce was also nice and tangy, sweet with a bit of a spicy kick, but not too much that it actually burned. Will definitely order again from there.

Ordered only two meals it came warm but was dry and it was late not ordering again anytime soon and the app said delivered but it took another hour to actually arrive absolutely ridiculous

Food was lovely. however the garlic dips I purchased and the ones that came with the pizzas had gone out of date the 9th of November I ate my dips with my pizza too n didn’t check date till after and I woke up 4am this morning and threw up

Here for work so took a gamble on yummies and it paid off, belter pizza 👌 Bossman was sound as a pound and there was a garlic and herb dip in the box when I got back that I never knew about that was a nice touch 😎 I ate a slice before the pic, so yes it was a full pizza before I got my hands on it!

Ten minutes late which isn’t that bad but we didn’t know it was coming because it wasn’t tracked on the app, and it told us it had delivered when it didn’t. When the food arrived the food was soggy to the point my brother couldn’t eat it properly because he has food sensory problems. Usually we don’t have issues with yummies but it was just not a great experience.

Yummies do the best chicken shish kebabs! Plenty of chicken, tastes so beautiful - absolutely perfect. Excellent delivery service. By far the best kebab shop in Newport. The burgers are also the best in town. I highly recommend this place!

Exceptional service, brilliant food. Even my kids ate it and they don't usually like anything.

They joked about rape and had hair in their food 🤮 they only take cash and send taxi drivers outside who are not registered to drive.

Disappointing pizza, the burgers were average, a steamed bun and cheap burger no salad, nothing. The fries were nice hot and crispy and the Pepsi arrived nice and cold. Wouldn't order again, disappointing

Ordered from here on several occasions but this one took the cake ordered 2 x 12in pizza deal to only receive 2 10in pizzas for the price of the 12 when contacted throu just eat get told it’s because of the ingredients why charge full price for something what wasn’t what’s advertised anywhere else would get a refund not this case

Drink was missing from the order

As always with these guys, delivered on time, food is fresh and piping hot and really tasty. Can't fault them

Possibly the worst lamb Shiah I’ve ever had. Tasted of nothing, old brown cabbage, soggy chips. Had two bites an put it in the bin. Massive waste of £26.

It’s saying it was delivered but it wasn’t, I would like a refund please it’s absolutely shocking

Food was nice but if the restaurant see this please can you change the options. I wanted all salad on my kebab and only had the option for 1 and then to add extra for 50p which then came as a separate dish. I wanted all salad on my kebab and same with the sauce. I asked for bbq and garlic had to pay 50p for extra bbq and came in a separate pot. Be lot less waste and a lot more happy customers.

Just what was needed after a night out not overly lavish just to fulfill hunger pangs

You need a strong stomach to eat there food I will never do it again it's not as if it was cheap £5 for a curry sauce and chips the curry sauce was the cheapest instant curry mix and the portion sizes pathetic not that I finished mine threw it away I'd recommend you stay well away from this place

The pizza was undercooked, the chips weren’t fresh they were 100% reheated and the garlic baguette with cheese was undercooked also. The bread was too soft and the cheese was hard

1/2 pounder was nice but the roll was soggy pizza was rolled out to thin and to much dough on the edges of the pizza no bacon on pizza like I ordered

The chicken Doner was all burn remaining and the cabbage was so sold and sower I couldn’t even eat it . I will never order again

I orderd peri peri wings then I got fried wings with chillie sauce on top not what I expected chips was soggy aswell when arived not what I expected wont be ordering again not happy with the food !

Lovely food, delivery driver read my notes and did what I asked and was very pleasant. Will definitely be ordering again soon

I called the shop to ask them to ask the driver to call me. What happened was the driver rang the doorbell 3 times!!! Not impressed as the doorbell is incredibly loud and could have woken the whole house up!

I found my chicken donna very bland no taste at all, even the “garlic sauce” didn’t have a taste. Chicken shish was tiny, had to pay extra for salad too. Was on time or even early but I wouldn’t order again.

Ordered a chicken fillet burger meal last night, arrived cold and I almost choked on a piece of bone in the chicken, went back to store, after getting no answer on the phone, only to be greeted with attitude and not even an apology. The reply I had was "I cant say nothing about it". Definitely won't be ordering from there again.

Always the food here is excellent value and quality is always good.... Always early and piping hot and no matter what we have it when we have it the quality of excellence never wavers!
