Best gluten-free and coeliac friendly food ever! They have a great amount of options to pick from on their menu. They’re very well versed on food allergens so great for all coeliacs!

Really lovely meal here last weekend. Hubby and son had bento boxes 🍱 which they thoroughly enjoyed. I had the teriyaki salmon salad which was perfectly delicious. Very busy on a Saturday lunchtime, obviously a popular venue for the locals. I highly recommend booking as it got very busy. We’ll definitely be back in the near future.

It's a nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly but I think the food is too sweet a lot of the tapas choices are in really sweet sauces which become sickly I think sweet sauces are great but not when too many dishes are the special fried rice was lovely

LOVE this place. PLEASE put Ma Pao Tofu back on the menu! We come in most months and feel like absolute arses every time we beg the new staff for this certain meal that has been taking off the menu... We love it too much to change but we are sorry.. Apart from this don't change a thing. LOVE!!!

Fantastic tapas restaurant, best around Nottingham

Lunchtime visit. Had the Bento box (4 Tapas + rice) Good choice and quick service. Price had risen since our last visit but still worth it. Excellent efficient service. Just marked down the atmosphere as it wasn't busy and a little cold through the back. Will visit again

Really nice place, foods great and the bento box is excellent value for money. In and out in half an hour. Knocked a star down because they add a 10% service charge onto the bill which isn’t the norm and didn’t really warrant a quick lunch.

Love going here. The bento boxes are so tasty and very affordable. You would think the food portions wouldn't be enough, but they were very filling. I love the variety they allow you to have. The service was quick, and the cocktails are 10/10. It's now a part of my monthly go-to. Highly recommend 👌

This is one of my favourite places. The food, presentation and ambiance are amazing. Lovely drinks, friendly and warm staff. I’ve been a few times and the service is consistently great.

Really nice staff. They didn't recognise my need to use a higher table with my wheelchair but not A problem as only coffee and cake . I will be more vigilant myself next time

Poor management decision? Another evening at this venue as we have done for many years, the £25 voucher that we had been given as an anniversary present was unfortunately rejected due to being out of date. Yumacha management made the decision to not even compromise. A short term gain of a free £25 for yumacha opposed a long term loss in my opinion and an incredibly poor decision, considering we usually spend over £60 every evening and will now frequent another venue and never return to yumacha. Zero loyalty.

We have been over the years for birthday meals and bento boxes with friends and family even collection through Covid and winning a bentobox via Facebook. . The meals do not disappoint but the ending today did. We received a gift voucher from friends but didn't realize the expiry date was 6 months. We came to use it and it had expired 3 months earlier. We were told it had expired but we did ask where £25 had gone from which our friends had paid forthe voucher. They could not answer just it had expired. Not even a goodwill gesture to honor 50% of it. Over years of enjoying Yumacha/Uchi and recommending it to friends this could be the end of the road from one small slip up and not looking at the bigger picture. Feeling really disappointed 😞 After spending £100's over the years feel it was a poor management decision today

I’ve had a lot of authentic Cantonese, Malaysian, Chinese food and I must say I was really disappointed. This is mainly Chinese takeaway food dressed up as something more. The beef ho fun was literally just a Chinese takeaway black bean sauce on congealed noodles. The Dim Sum tasted like the cheap frozen kind. Service not great. If you want to come here for the atmosphere then I’m sure it’s great. If you want good Asian food you’ll need to go elsewhere.

Very attentive staff l have been here over the years and notice the prices are going up but slowly the portion sizes are getting smaller and the number of pieces is also reducing it will reach a position where there are only crumbs on the plate bulked out with flour and batter There is no need for this unless the owner is profiteering?

Visited today for the first time and left disappointed. I was expecting fresh, exciting tapas and all it really was, was average Chinese food in small dishes, in a box.They may want to Google what tempura is, because its not the batter that's on their food. They reminded me of mcdonalds nuggets. The teryaki isnt even homemade. After reading so many great reviews, I could have got similar and more at any Chinese buffet.

First time here after wanting to try this restaurant ages ago! Husband booked for my birthday meal at 7pm. Arrived a few minutes early and was seated immediately and asked for our drinks as soon as we sat down (due to happy hour ending at 7pm which was really nice of them to think of). Ordered approx 6 tapas dishes altogether, came out nice and hot and quickly! Delicious food and amazing service from several members of staff. Also got given hand wipes which was a nice touch. To top it off, I was presented with a little cake with a candle in for dessert which was really fun. Would 100% recommend this lovely restaurant and can't wait to come back soon. Thank you for a really wonderful experience.

Cocktails & food great. Good atmosphere for family or friends to meet up.

Very tasty food - we opted for the prawn and pork dumpings, nasi gorang and satay lamb udon. All dishes were delicious and had their own unique flavours (as they should but other places dishes can taste a bit 'generic') would definitely return to sample other dishes.

Went for Saturday lunch, we had the Bento boxes and a veggie chow mein which were lovely, there is a very good vegetarian choice at Yamucha. The food was very tasty, good sized portions and reasonably priced. The restaurant is nice and the service was good with the people very friendly.

We called on the off chance and got a table within ten minutes. The team were lovely, and the food was great for a mid week treat. We will definitely be back. I'd recommend the miso soup, chicken skewers off the tapas and the sui mei (not sure of the spelling) steamed buns.

The food was expensive for the portions served, especially the tapas style food.

It has been a few years since I last went to Yumacha, as I moved away from Nottingham, but I went back this weekend with a large group of friends, hoping it would be as good as it always used to be, and it didn't disappoint! The food was absolutely beautiful - we had the set menu and there was plenty of it with a unanimous thumbs up from all ten of us. The service was, as always, attentive and friendly. It wasn't particularly busy so the atmosphere could have felt a bit flat, other than for the fantastic musician and singer that set up and played a range of popular songs and got really involved with the diners. It ended up being a fantastic singalong session with a bit of dancing to boot, and we had such a brilliant night. I'll be back again as soon as I'm back in Nottingham. Thank you for having us and for giving us such a good evening.

Great place to spend your 80th birthday.

Probably my favourite restaurant in West Bridgford... the salmon is incredible - in fact, a lot of the food is. Also, best pina colada I've had!

Absolutely love this place, The atmosphere is amazing every single time you go in doesn't matter if its 1pm in afternoon for lunch or a 7pm table for dinner its always a great atmosphere. The staff are amazing nothing is too much trouble, always friendly and smartly dressed and this goes for every single member of staff. The food is out of this world so much flavour always hot even if the whole place is fully booked. Especially like the fact happy hour on cocktails runs at a good time of the day and not like most places when no-one really goes out. Definitely deserve the 5 stars Been going for years now and definitely will be going for years to come

Food was amazing, service was quick and food was brought out within 15 minutes of waiting. Wonderful. Only downside was my lovely candle lit dinner with the other half being disrupted by countless crying children. Suggest table organisation for kids in one corner and people who want some peace on the other side of the building. Other than that. Amazing.

Great Asian food and cocktails. There are plenty of options with the food from all over the region. Somewhat easy to spend a lot in there, even if you do start in the daily happy hour. Last time went was the Sunday dim Sumdays meal that was a lot of fun.

Been today. A brilliant Cantonese/ Japanese restaurant. Food was delicious and service was quick. Maybe portions could be slightly larger though. I had vegan sweet and sour tempura vegetables with steamed rice; another had sweet and sour chicken with salt and pepper fries and the other ate Nasi Goreng and spare ribs (a bit small).

Great food but terrible service. Booked ahead on a weeknight for 27 guests and were asked to submit our order ahead of time (fair enough). But on paying the bill we were not allowed to split the bill even just 3 ways. We pushed but apparently the owner doesn't allow it "to save time for the staff".

Most of the seats are taken on Saturday evening. One downside would be the portion of the food. Overall it costs us around £80 for 3 people. A little bit pricy. Also we visited during the heatwave. Doors and windows were open. There were some flies around you and the food. It was a bit annoying while eating.☹️

Love the dim sum here. Always consistent too (not easy feat)! Only thing missing is pastry on the dim sum menu (eg char siu puffs and yam puffs) - please could you add that to your future offering Yumacha?

Booked a table. When we arrived we were told our table was not ready. We had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. We had our meal cannot fault the food. . As soon as we had finished the meal the waiter came and said we needed to vacate the table in 5 minutes. We explained that we had been late to get to our table. The waiter said they needed the table despite several tables around us being empty. Disgusting that getting a fast turn around of customers to get more money outweighs any customer service. Will not be going here again. Just downright rude and greedy for money.

They accommodated our large group booking (including updating the order when people dropped out) and everyone was really impressed with the food. I really appreciated that they called out people's names rather than the dish name- it made the process so much easier. Food was absolutely delicious, particularly the bao. Can't fault it. Food wonderful, service great, atmosphere fab.

Went there for lunch today. Service was slow and rubbish. Husbands food came out way before mine. I did question the server about the cod and what came with it. Nothing she said so I ordered rice which was thick sticky and gloopy. The cod was £8.95. It came in a ramekin small dish and I couldn’t believe the size they were charging for the price. Appalling. It was dry and eventually when I managed to get the attention of the server I asked for some soya sauce. Anything to make the dish palatable. That came a thimble size portion. When eating outside you just don’t get the attention nor service. Wasn’t asked if we would like anymore drinks etc. won’t be going there again!!!! There are plenty of better restaurants in WB!
