Yu Yee in Tameside

The salt and pepper box was amazing, very similar tastes to the old YU YEE, ill definitely be calling again soon for another delicious salt and pepper box. Thanks to the staff for a great service and also a quick delivery all round amazing 👏

Used these 2 weeks ago was good but got the salt and pepper chicken box and it was tasteless. 21 quid waste of money won't be using them again.

Food is great . Delivery service snd attention to detail needs some improving. Previous order was delivered and it wasn’t our order. We didn’t end up with our order even when re delivered, person on phone over talked when ringing up to advise. Todays order had item missing, when ringing to advise person at takeaway said he had not added the item to the order, admitted his mistake, so we had to wait for item and then had to pay extra. Item was of low value and I personally would have said there was no charge and offered this as an apology. Again good is great 5/5, delivery service is poor 1/5.

Used to like it when it was Yu Yee. Don’t know if it’s changed hands as well as name but it’s not the same. Portions smaller and taste has gone in a lot of dishes. The BBQ spare ribs were particularly bad - just grease! We put a prawn cracker in the sauce and it just came out clear. Disappointed and not worth the £29 😓 the chips were nice though

The Salt & Pepper Chicken & Chips us to be the best before Lockdown. Not the same now.

We ordered from here last week after reading some "good" reviews. Safe to say we will not be returning. Salt & pepper chicken was just nuggets covered in onions and chilli's. Shredded beef was oily and mostly batter. It was fatty, extremely salty and greasy and made us both feel ill after eating to the point I was sick. Shame it hasn't stayed the same quality from previous owners. We absolutely will never order from here again.

Absolutely the best Chinese food in Manchester!! Yu Yee is clean & the owners are really friendly :) not only that they are genuinely courteous and kind!! We live in mottram and would happily travel to Haughton Green and pass several Chinese takeaways on the way it's that good!! 6 stars if we could :)

What's happened to this place!!? Yesterday I asked for Beef in yellow bean sauce. When I got home I opened the container to find some beef, a load of chick peas, onion and some liquid of a kind - I tasted vile and went straight in the bin. Shame, it used to be so good.

Always greeted with a warming smile when I come into YU YEES, and the customer sevice is second to non. Food is fresh and tasty always has been and the gentleman serving always offers some extras now and then too for my dogs which is brilliant. Can’t fault them and do always recommend to my friends for Chinese meals etc. Brilliant 😊

We have ordered from Yu yee for over 18 months. we have always been pleased with the food and it upsets me write this as my order was delivered and was not correct. I called to speak about this and the gentleman who handled the call did not offer to correct the order, nor a refund as our order was much more expensive due to the mistake. after a 10 min conversation during which I was laughed at and a customer who was been served was involved in the call, I was offered to send out the correct item and the overcharge would be refunded. When the refund arrived from the delivery guy no replaced food was given and they asked for the incorrect food back (which is concerning as they may want to re sell it) I called again, For the same gentle man to ask why the correct noodles had not been sent out, he said ‘I never said I would do that’, which I replied ‘you definitely did’ he then started saying ‘no I did not’ over and over again, showing his main concern was only to constantly argue with a customer and then he decided to put the phone down on me. They are unprofessional , totally rude and have no customer loyalty for this. They get zero stars from me.
