Beautiful location with the characteristic roll on top of which you can choose the food you want. Exquisite food too. But brace yourself cause you’re gonna get an expensive bill for really little food. The nigiri is not the classic rice ball with fish inside but just a little bit of rice with fish on top of it and if you order the noodles, do not go for the regular portion cause you’ll be served a very little bowl with barely any thing in it. We had to go for a second dinner elsewhere cause we were still so hungry after we left. Oh, almost forgot: the bathrooms were absolutely filthy with s**t on top of the toilette seats. Only consolation, the gyoza were fantastic.

2100 04/03/2024 Monday Staff (possible dinner-time shift-leader) in Brunette Long-haired with pony-tail, approximately in her 30s have failed to perform a friendly, professional nor welcoming attitude to client ordered too good to go, neither is she familiar with the application pick-up mechanism. Where typically TGTG order can be picked up 20 mins prior to designated time-slot given the food is prepared to streamline and reduce workload and waiting time for both parties, her unfamiliarity had failed to perform an effective service with regards to TGTG order. She who have also decided to reduce quality and proportion of food deliberately, sub-standard to previous experience. Raw fish should typically be kept in a refrigerated environment before consumption yet she have left the order unattended in room temperature for an extended period of time. In conclusion, she have failed to perform an adequate level of respect for clients and for herself, comparing among other Yo! Restaurants across UK.

The restaurant supervisor was too rude and she makes me not want to come back, when she charged me for the wrong bill she didn’t even apologise. Terrible terrible customer service, i will never return and she doesn’t smile even though the other staff are lovely, she is RUDE and should leave her problems at home and not bring to work.

We went Saturday- we have never been before, asked the waitress for some help, wasn’t interested at all - just told to choose from the conveyer belt, not offered and child alternatives even though I took two little girls, ended up spending £70 between 1 adult and 2 10 year olds, we were all absolutely starving- wasn’t given a menu - it was all just really poor- the sushi was ok but didn’t know where where different options available as we were not given a menu or advice considering we did say we had not been before - for the whole time we where there there was no contact with a waitress, they were more concerned with piling more and more people in there - we will not be returning..

I decided to try out Yo Sushi again after not visiting for a few years and I am so glad I did, the menu has definitely expanded and it was great to try so many new varieties (loads of new vegetarian options too). The girl serving us was so kind and was happy to answer any questions I had, really making it an enjoyable experience - especially as it was the first time going for the person I was with. Wish I lived closer as I would visit all the time!

If you are looking for fresh Japanese food in a wide variety made fresh to order, this is the place for you. It can get a little pricey depending on your appetite. Service is amazing, I took a young child and the staff did nothing but make time for her and made her feel important. It was so lovely.

First time in YoSushi, didn’t have to wait long to be seated, about 5-10 minutes. I ordered the chicken teriyaki, looked nothing like it does on the menu. Very Small pieces of chicken thrown into a small bowl with very little coleslaw, the slaw was soggy due to being at the bottom of the bowl. Chips were ok, hot but not a big portion. Next time I’ll choose from the belt. Didn’t see a lot of the green Maki Veggie dishes which my daughters loves. Overall, ok and would return but would take off the belt.

Food was good. No cue to get seated on a Saturday afternoon, which was good. Normal great Yo tastes. Only down side, we were using a 1/3rd discount code, so wanted to have one bill at the end to pay. So asked the staff for table service, as opposed to ordering off the app. This kind of felt like an alien concept. Had to go and ask multiple time for service and where certain orders where. Think the staff at Yo don't really do any waitering any more. they just deliver food ordered off the app. They were all nice when got there attention, however its not really what Yo service was pre COVID changing to ordering on an app.

Fresh sushi, takeaway fridges are always stocked, takeaway self service is fast and easy. Yo! sushi is great for sushi lovers like me, fresh, tasty and if an item isn't on the belt you can order it via the app, it comes quickly, handed to you personally. The plates on the belt are colour coordinated to prices, The plates are small and the nicer, tastier and larger portions are £5+ so you can easily spend £100 as some of the plates are £8

Today I visited liverpool Yo Sushi, all was good until it came to paying. We asked for the bill, the employee came over and we requested to use our student discount - in which she sighed and told us she put it on (she didn’t). After attaching the ‘discount’ we asked to pay separately in which she huffed and puffed, slumping into her hand leaning in the table whilst rolling her eyes. This is highly unprofessional and rude. To top it all off, we were charged incorrectly on our cards. I won’t be returning to Yo Sushi as I’m disgusted with how I’ve been treated.

Like many people we visited having previously done so when it was Yo sushi. Took my wife after giving her the choice of where to go to eat. The ‘order at the table’ on your phone is fine until theres an issue and no one is around to help you! The food we had was nice but Id now consider this place way too expensive for what you get -£8 for two small pieces of beef as an example. One of our dishes didnt arrive, the ones that did seemed to take ages. When we finally got to pay the bill the server said “shall i take it off the bill then?”- Id prefer not to pay for food we havent had? I tried to suggest she remove the drinks we had -just a beer n coke- as some for of apology but it fell on deaf ears- really poor and sadly we wont be back again.

Let’s face it, Yo Sushi is not cheap. It’s literally the Halfords of Japanese scran, you pay for the convenience. During the aftermath of covid, Yo had you ordering & paying via a QR code at your table with minimal human interaction. You could input discount codes and choose how much service tip to give without someone breathing down your neck which ultimately made for a peaceful dinner if you just want to eat some good food and not be pestered. Then they went and changed it. You still order completely via QR code BUT you can’t do any of the paying thing without a server coming over to you, which causes an issue when they are short staffed and the server is doing the job of 3…….which seems to be a common thing since covid and I thought the QR order & pay system worked great with………silly move Yo! My last visit will likely be just that as it took just as long to get the servers attention & pay than it did to sit down, order, wait & eat my dishes……..tail wagging the dog comes to mind here. Not a fault of the staff, more a problem caused by upper management.

I am a big fan of sushi and I get that covid has had an impact on business but having a service charge added automatically without consent is a bit of a joke. Id be more than happy to tip but tbh the service was a bit of a letdown. Food took a while and then they forgot one item on our order. Also, how come we don’t get any wasabi or ginger on the table? Staff were fine but it all just seems like a cost cutting measure. Gutted, more than disappointed maybe.

I suppose I'm biased since I'm very picky when it comes to fish but it really wasn't for me. I also can't get over the pricing, around £6.50 for a pint is extreme regardless of the brand. It feels like more of a fast food place and less like a real restaurant, I'd probably suggest trying aka sushi which is nearby.

I love yo. The pumpkin katsu is my go to comfort dish, but the last several times I've ordered has been beyond disappointing. It used to be great, but over the last few months the quality has been terrible. On my last several orders there was no where near enough curry sauce on the food, and it's hit or miss if they top it with spring onions as well. Not that I should have to, but I'd even order extra sauce because I know they won't add enough, but it's not an option on deliveroo. Been disappointed too many times now. I'll be switching to Kokoro.

Where do I start?……I usually come to Yo sushi in various locations and I never have a problem. I come to Liverpool One, we are sat down by the most miserable manager ever, honestly it was like she dropped her wage packet down the grid. Ordered our food via the QR code (bring back the old system, old is better, more customer friendly). I ordered a salmon hand roll which looked like a toddler put it together and my partner ordered a katsu chicken curry that was over spilling from the bowl. I ordered a salmon sushi platter, the nigiri fell apart as soon as you touched it with the chopsticks and the salmon YO! Rolls were slithers. We ordered green tea which comes with unlimited refills, but we could not get anyone’s attention to get a refill. Honestly, terrible service. I get everyone has bad day’s but this was truly awful. Extremely disappointed with the service we received in Liverpool One, it’s usually amazing but not yesterday.

Also in my last order they've tried to scam me by giving me less sushi that I paid for. I have eaten this dish many times at Yo! so I initially assumed maybe they changed recipe? Except the whole thing smelt awful. I ventured taking a bite of the noodles. It all ended in the bin.

For the first 10 mins I felt like I was in work. Loooove the sushi from here, and the katsu curry is always great 😋 they have got good practices in place to protect their customers and staff, and have now got an app to order food from, which payment is taken instantly (much like the wetherspoons app) and is conveyed to you on their food belt! In happy that the last time i visited, they had the large bottles of soy sauce out again rather than disposable packets. With covid 19, the amount of single use waste has dramatically increased, so the less disposable sachets the better!

Never been here before ad assumed it was just sushi but when everwhere was shut for lock down we said we would try it when it opens again. We were asked to wait when we rrived whilst a table was cleaned for us and then seated. An explanation was offered on how to use the app whic btw is very good and even has an option to order cutlery and ask for help. wasn't worth reopening yet as the sushi was poorly made (barely put together mess), tastes weren't great (salt should accompany flavour, not replace it) and like what 2 options for vegetarians or something, big let down :L

Primera visita a Yo! Sushi desde el cierre y wow, ¿no han hecho los ajustes necesarios para garantizar la seguridad de todos? La comida se pide a través de una aplicación y llega a través de un ingenioso sistema de semáforos. Toda la comida estaba deliciosa y me encantó mi pequeño Yo! Copa de vino. Mi única queja, que es un problema importante, es que todavía no tenemos un Yo! Sushi en Carlisle! ! !

From the first moment you enter this restaurant they give you an agreeable feeling. Very comfortable stuff, it is a happy place to to go out with friends or with your date. Excellent cooking, experienced chef de cuisine, decent cost and professional service. Warmly recommended.

Siempre me encanta ir a Yo Sushi, la comida es deliciosa y el personal siempre es amable y servicial. Tienen todo el distanciamiento social en su lugar, con desinfectante de manos y un sistema sin contacto y todo se cumple, me hizo sentir mucho más a gusto. Tengo que dar un reconocimiento especial a la gerente Laura y al chef Craig, fueron realmente serviciales y amables y realmente nos tranquilizaron y ayudaron a guiarnos a través del nuevo sistema. ¡Estaríamos aquí semanalmente si pudiéramos!
