Yo! Sushi in Windsor and Maidenhead

Sushi making on Wednesday night was lots of fun for all the family. Highly recommended. Really friendly, accommodating staff.

My son was bought a sushi making lesson here for Christmas. Went on a Wednesday evening at 6pm and was lovely and quiet. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. My son loves sushi so this was a great experience for him. The teacher and chef Valentina was superb. She was patient, methodical and calm which made it a great experience. My son (11yo) absolutely loved it and was so excited about the whole experience. He learned a lot. Value wise it was just brilliant. Not one of these experiences that leaves you feeling short changed, but one that leaves you feeling you got value for money. And as such, an experience I will recommend heartedly to others.

Excellent food and service , had three kinds of fried food all three where completely different Japanese fried chicken Popcorn shrimp Spicy peppered shrimp Amazing including the chicken yakitory

What used to make Yo! an enjoyable experience over and above the food has gone. “Are you okay with the QR code?” - immediately establishing how low customer service has dropped. The selection on the kaiten was poor so you have to order through the QR with poor wi-fi. Also the free water tap has gone. There is nothing worth coming to a mediocre sushi restaurant for anymore. Shame.

Did a sushi making class with my partner taught by Jan and he was amazing! Our sushi was delicious and we had the best time! Highly recommend booking this.

I came with my girlfriend to do the sushi making class at Yo Sushi in Windsor. Jan was our teacher and he was absolutely fantastic. Honestly, he made the whole experience so special. We both couldn’t recommend this enough, 10/10. Loved it. Thank you so much guys.

It's an absolute marvellous place to be in. Therefore you shouldn't doubt yourself to come in. You shall meet the best people who will treat you with amazing service. Disappointing experience. No check back at all once sat down, had to ask for water and cutlery multiple times despite being an empty restaurant. Food was slow and staff eating on the shift which is unprofessional. Staff seemed pissed off that we arrived at 7:30pm and were unfriendly. Staff didn’t chat to us once - severe lack of ambience, energy and professionalism. Can understand why it was empty on a Saturday evening now. Will not be returning :/

Sushi was average at best, wouldn’t take anything from the conveyor belt unless it’s busy and they are restocking it frequently. Service was good, helpful and fairly attentive.

Yo is in the town centre, easy to find. We were asked if we had booked (did not realise we needed to??), had a table very quickly. My daughter had a few lunch box with 6 maki, vegetable fried rice, edamame beans (not the best choice of veg - kids don’t like them usually) and a choice of protein (she went for chicken Gyosa). We had a few plates of salmon maki, cucumber maki, noodles, chicken katsu (no rice) - total £36, not cheap for a school holiday lunch but worth it.

My 11yo saw the advert for Sushi School last time we’re ate here, so we booked it for his birthday. There were 5 of us: 2x adults, 2x 11yo and 1x 8yo. Our teacher was Jan and he was fantastic! He is so knowledgeable but also patient and clear enough that all of us were completely absorbed. And our sushi turned out so well! It was absolutely brilliant to make it ourselves and see it look so professional. Highly recommend this experience for families that like sushi and fancy a go themselves.

Never come back! Raman’s soup base is warm not hot, kids bento without the box, staff are feee but must order via app rather than taking order, service level is bad as no interaction. Money not for value too. Will recommend to anyone. Two adults and two kids (under age 6) paid almost £90!!

Love popping in Yo! Sushi, usually quick and easy for a light lunch whilst on a day out in Windsor. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

Really good food, everything we had was tasty. I had Korean chicken and the spicy seafood ramen. Much better ramen than Wagamama. Kids love the conveyor belt system and the food. We also had the tuna sashimi, Katsu chicken burger and the Yo fries. Can't fault anything but the multiple plate approach tends to end up more expensive than a normal place.

We like Yo! Sushi but we’re not impressed to discover they had added a lot of bowls to our bill that we hadn’t ordered - our bill should have been about £80 but they charged over £106!! In other words they overcharged us by more than £25!!

Yo! Sushi is situated in Daniels of Windsor which is in a central position of town and there for makes a great place to stop for a bite to eat whilst shopping in Windsor. The staff are usually friendly and attentive and although can get busy , especially at the weekend , a wait to be seated is not normally too long. The main food Is cooked to order and there is a conveyor belt that moves food around so you can take what you like the look of. The food always appears fresh and is tasty.

The food is average. Wagamama serves better noodle. The sushi is no better than those from supermarket shelves. The service can be better.

I decided to take my family to this cute restaurant to try the chicken katsu curry I was told about and we was totally all blown away on how delicious it was! The staff where super friendly too. There’s a nice pretty blonde lady working there who always smiles. We all felt so welcomed. I recommend anyone to visit and try there amazing dishes. The food belt is cool how you can just grab what you want. Highly recommended! :) I will look forward to my re-visit.

I came here in December 2018 to catch up with a friend. We had a great time. The Sushi was fresh and the small portions were just right so I could choose and pick a collection that I wanted. This also allowed me to have a variety of different dishes, which I loved!

I was visiting Windsor today for the second time and remembering my last experience here, I visited Yo Sushi for lunch again and again it was great choice. This time I decided to choose the food from tape - all was fresh and delicious and staff very welcoming.

The sushi was very fresh and had a chicken katsu curry one of the best I tried! The waiter was very helpful and friendly. My family had a great time. We definitely coming back.

I have visited this Yo Sushi multiple times and had great food and service every time. However this visit, whilst the food was amazing as usual, the service was awful. The staff were not very helpful and ignored our attempts to get their attention. This has put me off visiting again.

Whenever I am in Windsor I have to visit this Yo Sushi, compared to other Yo sushi restaurants this is one of the best. Either on your own or in a group this restaurant is great. The food is always fresh, tasty and made quickly, their last menu change was great and its great how they change things up often according to the best dishes, the current menu is the best one yet with just the right amount of choice. All the staff here are helpful, thank you to Nicole and the rest of the team at Yo Windsor :)

First time here and ok but the dishes were very small. The service was very good, polite and friendly. Very fast aswell, but I expected more from the dishes as in tastier. Overall not bad, they also take tastecard which save me some money.

Me and my friend thought we’d give to Sushi a try and the service was excellent. We was seated quickly and promptly. I was spoilt for choice on the menu but decided to go for the Katsu curry with rice which was absolutely delicious. I love the food belt! It’s also great how you can help yourself. Great place to drop for healthy lunch once sightseeing Windsor. Served food is very fresh, my favourite was Corriander Tuna Sashimi, staff is welcoming and ready to advise once you are not sure of your choice. Definately will come again once being in Windsor.

For a fast, cheap low fat meal in the middle of the day, Yo Sushi meets the needs of many diners. It doesn’t pretend to Japanese authenticity, not one of the food preparation staff is Japanese and that’s not necessary for this is Japanese style fast food at an affordable price. They are now offering two days a week at even cheaper rates. This brings me to the salmon they’re currently using: it was so dyed that is had a luminous quality. This was the salmon used for salmon nigiri not the sashimi. (Sashimi portions have been shrinking over the years but that’s a different matter).

This is our family’s staple favourite place in Windsor. The food is fresh and delicious and the service is brilliant, especially I would like to mention Nicole who made us feel welcome and provided us with a top notch service, nothing was a bother, she was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and recommended some beautiful dishes. We will definitely come again
