Very expensive and long time waited for the food. Lots of food and drink aren't available from the book.

Very disappointing experience at this restaurant. It was very noisy and we struggled to hear clearly. We ordered our starters which were good. However, the service was terrible. 4 out of 5 of us finished the food and the waitress took the plates away without waiting for the last person to finish. She then proceeded to serve the mains whilst one of our party hadn't finished the starters and this person was given her main course as well which was extremely rude. The mains were small, expensive and average. This poor and rude customer service ruined a family celebration.

This has to be the very best Greek food I have tasted outside of Greece, The ambiance is terrific, the staff are excellent and well dressed in designer outfits with classical Greek style The Moussaka is simply fantastic This restaurant is already very busy it only opened recently I hate giving it such a good review because it will not be long before I won’t be able to get a table. Excellent

restaurant was absolutely freezing. even the staff put their coats on. slow service due to staff chatting or being on their phones. quite clearly advertised 2 courses for £17.50 but when it came to getting the bill we were charged full price. queried this but were told that offer ended in October despite it still being in black and white on the menu. the meatballs completely fell apart so it may as well just have been a bowl of mince. chicken and pitta were bland and burnt. they've completely lost the family run restaurant feeling which is a shame.

We were expecting the same standard we were used to at this restaurant. However it is now under new management. We wish we had known, because the quality is so much worse. Really disappointed with our meal. We will not be eating here again.

Was so looking forward to authentic Greek food. Booked a table weeks ago in anticipation. Looked at a menu on line, so when we got there actually had an idea of what we would be eating. The mixed started platter, king prawn saganaki perfect. The restaurant wasn’t what I was expecting, more cafe like. We were given the menu, and was shocked to see such as basic menu, the waitress said that the menu online was different. It truly was. Everything was with chips for a start, and I can only say was like the street food bars you find in Greece, on your way home from a night out, but really that would be doing those lovely food bars an injustice, as the food they serve is quite delicious. The platter was bad, the tzatziki hadn’t seen a garlic or much cucumber, and was more like eating yogut, not even Greek yogut. The 4 small pieces of calamari, was pleasant, the vine leaves were bland and definitely pre bought in. We were in two minds at this point to leave, as a couple next to us paid their bill, after leaving their food, took their wine and left. We really should have followed, ut we didn’t. We left most of the platter, which stayed on our table for a good 15 minutes together with our plates, before being cleared away. As no prawns in lovely sauce to order I choose Lamb, which was a chargrilled kebab pink in the middle. This was so tough, and fatty, served again the yogut, bread, chips. It was such a disappointment. I do understand now why they aren’t attentive asking if your food is alright, because I feel they Know that’s it’s bad. Definitely not returning.

We had visited Yiannis in January and had a fabulous time so when we had family visiting from Manchester we didnt hesitate to pay another visit. This time it was poles apart from our first visit. So many things wrong, short staffed, long waits, brought our mains before we had our starters, so food taken back and obviously left somewhere until they cooked the starter (another 15 mins) and after we ate this, we were given back the original cooked meals that were over dry and cold and salad had wilted. Awful .. my partner was told at the same time they didnt have lamb chops (over an hour after he had ordered this) he then reordered and waited another 10 minutes for his main course (which was lovely and fresh) compared to our disappointing meals. There are more details to this which i could go on about but woukd take too long. we were given a free drink and eventually had 2 of the mains taken off the bill. But to be honest those meals should never have been served like that. These days going out for a meal is a treat and an expense many cant afford very often .. poor service, poor excuses. I told the waiter we wouldnt come back again and is parting statement was "yes please come back but not at the weekend!" .. says it all really ... very poor.

Really great moussaka here. Friendly staff and a very good menu. We had a very pleasant evening here in Beeston I can highly recommend it

Went on the recommendation of a Beeston native and had some trepidation given several recent one star reviews but needn’t have worried. I had spicy chicken souvlaki and my partner had moussaka, both of which were piping hot and incredibly tasty. Service friendly and attentive without being OTT.

We had a great evening at Yiannis nice greeting by waiter..drinks came fast by lovely waitresd..we had to wait a bit for food but it came out piping hot! Two of us ordered Lamb it was soft & tender, veg was very hot we had to wait a few minutes..another person ordered mix grill it was amazing. Onother meal we asked no cheese this was not a problem & lasagne looked fab..not one of us faulted anything. My 1st vist the other 4 it was their 3rd visit..i would go again glafly.

Delivered one hour late. The food was stone cold when it eventually arrived and not very appetising. To cap it off, it cost the three of us £50 for the privilege. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Served me meat, insisting it was vegetarian. My friend and I both ordered moussaka: 1 meat free (with vegetarian mince) and one meat. When we were served we checked we had been given the correct ones (they said the meat free one was garnished wth Spinash and the one with meat garnished with watercress). On eating mine, I was concerned it was meat, so my friend sampled both and agreed I had been given and was eating the meat version. We asked for the manager and he came, insisting mine was the vegetarian version (having simply looked at it!). He continued to insist it was NOT meat, however I refused to eat it and asked for another portion. He took my food away and on return did confirm it was the meat version. My new portion arrived with watercress on, which was supposidely the kitchens method of showing serving staff that it was the meat version! When we were given our bill at the end, I had assumed they would have taken something off, considering I had been served and eaten meat (they knew I hadn't eaten meat for over 35 years). I was appalled that they gave us the full bill and didn't understand why I was upset. I asked for the owner to call me and I have never had a call back. I am appalled at their lack of care. This could have been a serious food allergy!

I have several local food deliveries (i.e. Indian, Chinese, Pizza and Fish & Chips) but decided to try something new, found Yiannis on line and thought I would give them a try...that turned out to be a very big mistake on my part. Placed online order at 6.15pm for a chicken and lamb Gyro and a Beef Stafido for delivery at 8.30pm. Had to chase twice and delivery did not arrive until 9.15pm. Chicken was burnt and dry, the lamb was 3No small shish kababs witch all came with a very small 4" diameter pitta and soggy oven chips (nothing like the photo's on their website)., the Beef Stafido was bland and quite tasteless. Overall a very, very disappointing experience, a very late delivery, the food over cooked and nothing was like it was described as on their menu or their website photo`s, in fact one of the worst meals I have ever paid for. I would personally giving these a miss and suggest that just go to your local Kabab shop as it would probably be much better food, delivered on time and at half the price of Yiannis. I have always prided myself on paying for quality, this unfortunately was not that!!

I ordered a Beef casserole and what came up was full plate of what looked like braising steak which could have either been cooked in a saucepan, or a tin of meat (not that I have ever had a tin of meat), with a few shallots and that was it! Plus about 4 tablespoons of rice. I was expecting a beautiful casserole, a bit more like a stew, there was no liquid at all., just the sauce that the meat had been cooked in. It tasted ok, extremely salty. I was shocked, I've never had a meal like it in any restaurant. It was very disappointing. I left about a third of it. The taste was nothing special at all, very ordinary. This was written by a guest at my table.

Takeaway not what we ordered. Given meat when ordered and paid for vegetarian mezze and collected it ourselves during petrol crisis. Got home and found wrong meal. They ignore all attempts at contact and offer no apology or attempt to rectify. The food we could eat in the mezze that didn't contain meat was absolutely disgusting. We threw the meat in the bin but it wasn't even meat it was lumps of pork fat. Wouldn't feed it to a dog. Hands down the worse meal I have ever had anywhere. Avoid at all costs.

Me and the wife had an excellent meal ,chicken and pork gyros, superb . Excellent service as well . Will definitely be back

Just had a takeaway from Yiannis. I had the Pastitsio delicious & my husband had a chicken gyros no complaints there. Lovely as usual.

My sister had a takeaway from Yiannis last Saturday and recommended this little gem of a restaurant in Beeston. Ordered two chicken gyros and the mixed grill platter plus two bottles of Mythos for me and my girlfriend. Food was Amazing portion size was perfect.Prices good. Brought back memories of a great holiday last September to Zakynthos. Definitely be returning for more great food.

Absolutely appalled...meal arrived or should I say my chicken salvaki and my husband's seabass arrived..no fries no salad to ask when was it coming to be told they had ran out!! Came to pay the bill with a gift voucher to then be told the gift voucher wasn't theirs's and it should of been used in 2months! It was theirs no expiry date on it!! Won't be returning sorry to say as always had a nice meal previously.

I ordered from this restaurant using their takeaway service. Firstly their website tried to charge me an extra £12.50 for the box the food comes in. I called to enquire about this and decided to order my food at the same time. They said their website had a fault. So I ordered and then drove 12 miles to pick it up. Got home to find that despite the website saying the order I had placed came with rice and pitta. It didn’t. Also...my meal was tiny. This was two £12.50 orders and I’ve had more food at a street takeaway for a third of that price. I phoned again and was told all meals came with chips and if I wanted different I should have said. I mentioned that it didn’t say this in the website. They didn’t care. Awful customer service. Over priced food that does not match the description. I can’t warn away more. Only go here if you have too much money and like being ripped off. Photos below...does that look like the description?

Ordered £38.90 food via their online takeaway service reserving a time slot. No show, chased after 25 mins, was told food was 5 mins from delivery and on its way... Still no show 20mins later so asked for refund. Was told to claim full refund from the delivery driver... arrived 5 mins later and delivery driver aka Yianni himself offered £8 refund - he appeared surprised and gave us £38 refund and took the food with him!! shocking service. We used to be regular customers at Yiannis but the service is so hit and miss. He even said they were making a loss doing deliveries - no wonder - shambles

As you can see from the pictures attached, Yiannis is misleading and mis selling their food. You can clearly see this is pictures from “The Athenian” which is another Greek place in Nottingham. I attempted to bring to their attention that this wasn’t professional and they blocked me off all platforms. Please reconsider, a dishonest business with no morals isn’t a business which should be supported.

Very disappointed Saturday night meal out !Poor service had to ask for drinks menus , staff all chatting at door and due to it being open we were cold whilst dining there . Staff seemed more bothered about takeaway collections than serving us in the restaurant . Mixed starter poor , dry cremated meatballs cold calamari and mains not much better . The only positive was the bottle of Rose . Would not visit again and not worth the money spent .

We came because my husbands previous experience here was a great meal. Unfortunately our experience was not quite so good. The service was very poor. Waited ages for our drinks (about 15 minutes) even though there were no other customers in the restaurant and the staff were all just chatting at the bar. We had to remind them about the drinks. One bottle of red which was ok. Two glasses of warm white wine. I asked for ice cubes to have in the wine, but 10 mins later I had to remind them. They didn’t really seem to know what they were doing.Mixed yiannus starter was nice, although a little mean with the meatballs. Mains were not so nice, with the lamb skewers very dry and moussaka burnt underneath. Had to wait ages for plates to be cleared and order coffee and tea. Although they only had earl grey or strawberry. Coffee not very nice either.

The food at Yiannis was nice and the portion size was good. We went twice and enjoyed the food. Would definitely return.

Had a chicken gyros box. All it contained was chicken skin and no meat. Yuk. Emailed to complain and received no reply. Not reccomend and will not be going again.

They have started doing takeaways during the lockdown and I was disappointed with both the service and the quality of the food. I had to chase my order which I think was forgotten and when it arrived the chicken was dry and both the salad and chips limp. For the price I expected a lot better and could have matched it at my local kebab shop. I hope that the restaurant can open soon so that they do what they are set up to do.

We went to Yiannis restaurant in Beeston recently as part of a group - it is one of our favourite go-to restaurants. The food as always was second to none and the service warm and welcoming. We like the authentic Greek atmosphere

A group of 10 came here for my birthday. We had a selection of mezze including fabulous Greek salads and dips, rices, beef stifado and prawns. The quality of the food was amazing as always and the staff helpful and friendly. The choice is amazing, the wine list great and they even do cocktails should you wish

Visited with friends recently and we ordered the mezze to share. We were not disappointed as there was a great selection to choose from, very generous portions and a fabulous atmosphere in the restaurant. The food was served promptly and piping hot. The owner, Yiannis is quite a character and it is obvious that great customer service is important to him and his staff. There was also a good selection of wines and spirits to choose from. All in all, great food, great service, friendly staff and reasonable prices. I'll be back!!

Came for dinner last night and had a wonderful time. Had a selection of meat and vegetarian mezze - all were delicious, cooked well, and excellent portions. All washed down with excellent wine. Lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere. Classical decor. Staff were all very friendly and efficient, and despite being a busy Friday night, were brilliantly attentive.One of the too restaurants in Beeston and one of best Greek in Notts!

Took 20 minutes for anyone to take our drink order, after waiting another 15 for our drinks someone came back over and said that our drinks were forgotten, so we reordered them. Another 10 minutes later we got to order our food and then began the long wait for it to arrive. Unfortunately the food was not great, the stifado was watery and the portion size was tiny, the rice it came with looked like it had been left in water for too long and it was mushy, the beef itself was tender but there was maybe four small chunks of it on the plate. The chicken gyros tasted nice enough, I enjoyed it for the most part, but it wasn’t particularly enough to make up for the bad service, long wait times and disappointing meals.It’s a shame because I would love to be writing nice reviews about local Greek businesses, but the restaurant really needs more staff, it’s a disappointing representation of Greek food.

Arrived at 6.30 tonight for my husbands birthday meal with our two year old and relatives, we were the only people there for the first hour, starters came and then nothing until 8pm, when the mains arrived they were stone cold, we left because we had to, food tasted ok but stone cold and so slow! Won’t be coming here again, ruined what should have been a lovely night

There are quite a few good restaurants in Beeston, not least Yiannis' next door neighbour, but we couldn't get a table in our preferred restaurant (the Frustrated Chef) so decided to give Yiannis a try. I had already read the reviews on here so was bracing myself for slow service, and we booked an early table to try and avoid the busiest times. First of all the tables are small and very close together. This was particularly annoying once the mezzes arrived as it was really difficult to get all of the dishes on the table. We were constantly juggling dishes and had no spare space on the table. It didn't feel comfortable.We ordered 2 veg and 2 meat mezzes + 2 other mains, and the servings were completely inconsistent - so some dishes were reasonably sized, whereas others - e.g. the calamari - contained only 4 small calamari rings. This dish was supposed to be included in two of the mezzes! The food itself was pretty average, and being squashed into a small table with hardly any table space, along with the slow and erratic service, means that we won't return. There are lots of much better restaurants in Beeston.

I visited tonight with some work friends for the first time and was unfortunately very disappointed.I was the only person from our table of 10 not to order the 2 course menu, instead opting for the chicken Souvlaki. After all of my friends were served with their gyros main courses, 5 minutes later I was still waiting for my food.After asking the waiter, I was told my food was “on its way down”. At this point it was pretty clear they’d forgotten my order.I was then presented with a mixed meat kebab. I don’t actually eat red meat so told the waitress that my meal was incorrect. She proceeded to tell me this was what I’d ordered and they didn’t do a dish with just chicken (despite this being on the menu!?)I decided to just eat the chicken pieces from the kebab as I’d already been waiting a long time.To my disgust, I bit into the chicken to find it was completely raw in the middle! I can only assume that the chef had rushed it after realising they’d forgotten my meal. I again complained to the waitress and was not given a single apology. Instead she just asked if I wanted them to replace it with a chicken only dish.At this point, I had completely lost my appetite and had to rush off earlier than my friends due to my car park ticket running out.It’s such a shame about the service I received as the rest of my friends seem to enjoy their chicken Gyros. Perhaps that’s the only thing that it’s acceptable to order? Very disappointed with the service, food and lack of apology! Let’s hope my stomach survives the raw meat I ate without realising!

Went with my scuba diving club, I'd not been here before and was amazed at how great it is,It's really beautiful and friendly inside. It's ideal for both a romantic or a friends occasion.The food was outstandingly good, fresh,tasty top class. The staff I found were friendly and helpful.Will definitely be returning

We had dined here before but we left it late to book around 4.30pm for.7.30pm. Pleasant welcome. Allocated our table promptly. A wee bit slow to take our order. Nevertheless it was worth waiting, after all it was a Friday night and clearly very busy. After a delightful starter halloumi etc follwed by lamb chops and a potted casserole also lamb. Well cooked and simply delicious and ample quantities, followed by "cake desert" lovely. Good choice of wines. Alas we are not partial to Oriental/Greek coffee so gave it a miss. The bill was accurate and fair value. A delightful evening. WE SHALL RETURN.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a good experience here - but maybe we just caught them on a bad night. I’d also like to correct some of the details in the below review. We were the table who ‘ate their food but refused to pay’.

We booked a table earlier on the day and our booking was accepted without comment. When we arrived at the restaurant it was maybe half full and it soon became apparent that there was only one waitress who was really doing her best. We learnt that two members of staff hadn't turned in. Food took a while but when it came it was lovely. Unfortunately some of the other diners didn't have our patience and one large table waited until their food arrived, declared it cold then, after an argument with the chef/owner left, I think without paying. Another table near us ate their food then tried to say it had been cold, they weren't paying... Cue more beef with the chef (to be fair they should have said something when the food arrived if it was cold)! Chef very apologetic to us and gave us beers on the house. A shame, I think they'd been left in the lurch badly but could perhaps respond better to criticism. May give it another try at some point as food lovely and staff very pleasant.

Had two chicken Gyros to takeaway. Very tasty and took me back to our holiday in Greece. Very welcoming staff we will return!

Terrible experience on New Year’s Eve charging £39.90 each for 4 courses with music singing and dancing. Very poor service after waiting 45 minutes still not got any water or a bottle of beer to the table. Then told the only choice of vegetarian main had ran out the next option had prawns!!! After 2 hours we’d only had the appetizer and starter which were sharers but with odd numbers?? 3 mussels for 2 people for example. Other guests were coming in who were obviously regulars to the restaurant and they had their mains before us!! Spent new year eating fish and chips, which by the way were lovely.

My partner and I went to Yiannis last night as we live only a couple of a streets away. I had previously read the reviews and heard it was good but you never really know until you go yourself.

Booked a meal for 8.30 Saturday. Ordered. Waited,, waited,,,waited, 50 minutes later told by manager-no scallops, no prawns (they were the starters) After 50 minutes ,informed with no apology whatsoever !! walked out in disgust . Note to busy restaurant on a busy Saturday night,, do not book customers in if you know you will run out of key ingredients !!!

Location wise this place is certainly not in the centre of Nottingham. It took us about 20 minutes on the tram and maybe a further 10 minute walk, but we are absolutely glad we made the journey into Beeston!

We went for my dads 59th birthday as both he and my mum love Greece. This is the 2nd visit and the food was just as good and authentic as last time. The staff are polite but I would advise you book as it’s always busy.

from the moment I called in to book, the owner and staff were very welcoming, spent time to reveal the evening's menu, and this carried on after we arrived - the waiter even remembering I thought the swordfish might be a good choice, and so it was. Just one tiny complaint - too big portions !! Will definitely come again

We had a great meal here several months ago but had a really disappointing time tonight. Ordered the same as last time (unadventurous) but the experience was wholly different. The starter arrived and was lovely. The wine however was warm. The table next to us had the same problem and had their wine put in the freezer for 5 minutes so didn’t complain about the first 1/2 litre. We ordered another and requested it be cold but didn’t arrive until after we had finished eating. My husbands meal of a chicken kebab was fine but the moussaka tasted quite rancid. We did tell the staff about our disappointing meal but was just told that they would pass it on to the manager. All in all disappointing and unfortunately we won’t be returning.

Initial advice: BOOK. This is an exceptionally busy restaurant. The atmosphere was very good. They offer a very comprehensive menu. However, the meze was a little disappointing. Had difficulty choosing a main due to the excellent choices. All in our group enjoyed their food, but being a little critical the pork and chicken was slightly overcooked. A nice choice of wines and a place I will revisit. Nicely paced friendly service throughout.

Decided to opt for a Take Away from their dedicated Take Away menu on their own website. Planned our evening around the meal. Phoned up to order only to be told 'oh we don't do take aways tonight (Saturday)'. Complete waste of time why place the Take Away menu on your website & offer this service if they have no intention of offering the service when it doesn't suit them. If they had clearly stated this on their website you wouldn't have got a 1 star review.

Booked over a week ago for my husbands birthday lunch. We have family up from Devon and were so excited to have lunch here. We arrived at 12.25, 5 mins before our booking, and were not let into the restaurant. We were told they do not take bookings for Saturday lunch times and we were sent away. Very disappointed.

Had a great Greek meal with my family who were visiting from London. I will highly recommend the mixed grill . Succulent and tasty and will buy again.

Very nice food, full of flavours, with big generous portions! We finished our meals a bit guilty of having eaten so much but definitively content and satisfied!

You could be back in Greece here. The menu is quite extensive and they even sell Mythos beer. The service was a bit slow but they were very busy and if you were in Greece it wouldn't matter anyway.t

Came here on Wednesday evening for the first time. Friendly welcome from the owner (I think he was the owner anyway!) and very fast service from the waiter.

Had to dine early (6pm on a Saturday ) as fully booked. A great atmosphere and busy even at 6pm. Service very good and food excellent - we really enjoyed the vegetarian options and shared platter. House wine fine.

Lovely atmosphere in Yiannis and a warm welcome. On the other hand, as a table of 9 we ordered our drinks within the first 5 minutes of arriving and SOME of them were delivered to the table very quickly however two members of the party were left without beverages for quite some time. In addition, and the main point of my review being, after we ordered our main meals we had to wait for over an hour for it to arrive at the table. In this time, many other people around us had their food and left (who had notably entered the restaurant after us). Fair enough, the group was a larger number than most however this to me does not excuse the poor service and lack of explanation that was provided. The food was amazing when we were finally able to eat and the owner did give us some money off and free beers which somewhat alleviated the disappointment but this is a real problem that needs to be addressed.

The food was delicious and great value with the 3 course mid-week deal at £18.90 each. Staff were lovely too. Cocktails were also delicious. We had a great night.

£52 for 3 kebabs and 3 sides!?!??! You may think as I did, a bit pricey for a takeaway but it’s an authentic Greek restaurant with good reviews. I’m sure it’ll be worth it. It’s Saturday night. They’ll have their best chef working. It’ll be delicious. WRONG!!!!

Just had a delicious meal at Yannis. I fully recommend. Great warm atmosphere, wonderful hospitality and cosy restaurant. New Greek dishes on the menu and beautifully prepared. Well done Yanni. And if you are not hungry just go in for a gin. Good selection. Thanks Diane & Tony.

Lovely food with enough variety to please everyone. The house white is very good indeed. Staff very attentive. Good value all round.

We had the three course lunch menu, and it did not disappoint. We have not been for some time but we enjoyed the traditional Greek flavours, and my Gyros was spot on. The Galactabureko is to die for as a desert. I also envied the desert my wife had but I can't remember the name - a honey & lemon sponge with cream topping ? Time for an evening visit I think.

We visited Yiannis midweek and were the only people there, now we know why.

Me and the mrs came in on a Thursday. 2 courses for £14.95. Gyros chicken is tasty af. Chicken souvlaki was also moist and delicious(however does contain cinnamon). Staff were attentive. Only downside was the chicken wasn’t very hot. Everything else was A1.

We loved the food at this place. It felt authentically Greek and there was a great variety of choice. I went for the halloumi followed by the chicken soulvaki and it was all really tasty (although the portions are very generous so bring your appetite!). It's also great value on a weekday because they have a mixed mezze menu or a set 2-3 course menu that both work out really cheaply.

As regular visitors to Greece and with several Greek friends we love Greek food. Sadly not all Greek restaurants in the UK match tavernas in Greece. Happily Yiannis in Beeston not only matches up but exceeds expectations. We had a great meal as a birthday celebration with our son. Really good souvlaki and the Mythos beer was perfectly chilled. The service was courteous and friendly. This is a real find. Epharisto poli Yiannis!!

Visited with friends, walked past and dismissed many times. Excellent food and service, Moussaka amazing, excellently spiced. Will not walk past this restaurant again. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Beeston

We booked for 8pm and the restaurant was very busy.... we were sat near the back with our friends .. the service was very slow as it really was busy... we didn't mind the wait... the food was out of this world

Travelled out of our way to transport ourselves to happy times in Greece but disappointingly i could not imagine we were anywhere accept Beeston.

First visit on an evening out with friends. Authentic food, average menu size. Portions were good. Enjoyed my chicken gyros, reminded me of being on holiday! Service was a little slow, busy restaurant that maybe needed a couple more members of staff. We didn’t opt for desserts, all enjoying starters and mains including calamari and souvlaki, overall good value.

Always a good sign when you enter and it's full already. Warm welcome on arrival and quickly shown to our table. Good selection of Greek beers and wine.

First time visit for my birthday, excellent choice of dishes - I had the beautiful sea bass as my main after a lovely veg maze to start.Good, friendly service and food - what’s not to like !

Booked table for mums birthday on a Monday night. The menu was fantastic value for 2 or 3 courses with a wide range of meat and veg courses. The food was fresh and very tasty. The food was incredibly well cooked and both meat and fish courses were amazing . The Greek restaurants in Nottingham have gotten better ratings but having eaten in both I am not sure why as this restaurant is miles better in food and service !

Having been to Greece earlier this month we went here and were pleased to try their version of the dishes we had had in Corfu. Nice atmosphere (if you tolerated the singing of "the wheels on the bus") and very busy for a Thursday night. Had meze starter and courgette fritter - both delicious. Kebabs with salad & chips were excellent mains. Had a nice G&T; too. A lovely place and a lovely evening.

Before moving away from Nottingham, we went here nearly every weekend. Amazing food and delicious drinks!! Sad that we have left but its truly a gem!!

Finding good vegetarian food is difficult, but not here! The veggie mezze was very tasty & filling. I had a stuffed aubergine for my which was outstanding.

Ate here for a midweek birthday celebration for my mother. The restaurant offers a set menu and specials menu in the week which is really good value. Delicious food and good service. I will definitely be visiting again, maybe for a takeaway!

Ate here 6 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed it 4 of us had the chicken Gyros and the other two had the mezzo to share really well cooked and great service fully licensed and a gin drinkers paradise with a great selection
