Yasmins Fine Indian Cuisine in South Ayrshire

Beautiful food and lovely staff, booked a table for 8 people the day before. They pre warned us that they had a large party and it may be slightly noisy, we were fine with this and to be fair the atmosphere was great. I tried a completely new meal Tawa which was huge and very tasty, we had a mixed starter plate for 2 which did 3 of us and a king prawn South Indian garlic chilli which was incredible. We will definitely be back!

Welcomed and accommodated the moment I walk through the door. Ordered a prawn cocktail as a starter. I enjoyed it and it was a generous portion too. For main I had the Chicken Tikka Garam Masala, garlic nan bread. Absolutely delicious and it has to be one of the best I’ve had. As the Terminator said, “I’ll be back” Thanks for a great meal. I was amazed to hear that many people from Stranraer order take aways from here it is over 20 miles away, that has to say something about the quality of the food.

Visited during our stay at turnberry last weekend, the service was excellent staff so friendly and the food was absolutely to die for, best Indian meal we have ever had! Price was also very good. Considering the 3 hour round trip just for another meal lol! Will definitely be back.

The quality of food in this restaurant is amazing. I love a mixed tikka kebab and the curries I have tried are super tasty too. Definitely my place locally for comfort food. We haven’t sat in for a while so definitely on our to do list over Christmas.

Needing an Indian to spice up our holiday, this was the best rated one and it's obvious to see why. Friendly staff, delicious and generous quantity portions. We branched out from our usual and it paid off. Highly highly recommend!

This place came highly recommended and didn’t disappoint. The food was outstanding and the service was great. If you’re in this neck of the woods and in the mood for a curry then come here, you won’t be disappointed. Top tip try the lamb bhuna, it was delicious.

On holiday in the area, and called in for a takeaway meal. Very impressed from the outset. The staff were friendly and courteous, the food was prepared quickly, and was delicious. Great value too, they even added poppadoms and onion relish free of charge. Give Yasmins a try, you won't be disappointed!

Was recommended this place as we weren't local and it was 1 of thee best curries we have had in a very long time, if we could have eaten 1 every night we would have,the chicken bhuna was delicious, huge portions and arrived hot. Great take away while on holiday. There’s always an element of pot luck when you’re getting a take away away from home - and with this one we struck lucky. Great service, great food and a friendly chat while you’re waiting which is always nice.

My wife and I have been to Yasmins several times and have never been disappointed, the service is first class the staff are very attentive and friendly and nothing is to much for them, the food is excellent and the portions are generous,we have a caravan in the area and we are regular diners, we would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Girvan or just passing through.

Our Very First Visit to this Excellent Establishment and, it didn't disappoint us. All 3 Meal's were definitely The Best we have tasted in a Very Long Time. Very Attentive and Well Mannered Staff just added to Us All having a Wonderful Experience. Came away with their Takeaway Menu's so we can sample more of their Exceptional Food Choices. If, like Us, you've not yet visited "Yasmin's" for Yourself, You really don't know what you're missing. Highly recommended as One of The Finest Indian Restaurants in this Area.

Great meal again here tonight. Chicken pakora starter was fantastic & the South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken was superb, bursting with flavours and a very big kick to to it. Rice, naan & chips were to brilliant.

First time in the area, going off local recommendation. We ordered a takeaway, it was reasonably priced, the food was wonderfully aromatic and not overpowered by chilli. The portion sizes were ample, the naan was fabulous. If we come back to the area we would be back for a meal.

Food was excellent, service was fantastic and the prices very reasonable. We ordered 4 meals to take away and the portion sizes were generous. Our food was ready at the time they had said and the serving staff were polite, friendly and efficient. I had the chicken chili bhoona which was highly recommended on the menu and was delicious. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.

Me and my family ordered food from here and were pleasantly surprised. The prices are reasonable and the amount of food you get is lovely. The naan wasn't dry at all, it was like it was baked in gods oven. The chicken was juicy and tender, and the salad was well put together. The sauces were good. The chips were also lovely. 10/10 and we will come again.

Very disappointed that the chicken tikka masala was full of sliced carrots. Put me off my meal completely as the sauce was crunchy. Didn’t like it. Never known masala to have carrots through it. Eughhh.

Having a few days up Scotland visiting from Huddersfield and can honestly say it's the Best Indian iv had in a very long time the onion bhajis are beautifully light and crisp had the mixed sizzling starter for 2 aswell which I would highly recommend. Portions were very generous. We also had poppadoms and a pickle tray which the spiced onions stood out from the lot. Currys were outstanding and staff very very friendly having picked up from our accent that we weren't local recommended places to try and visit. Overall would highly recommend visiting and if we are ever back in the area would be coming again. Thank you for a lovley meal

Ordered take away of assorted main meals Sunday evening 23/07/23, food as good as it gets , great meals and good prices.

Returned as enjoyed the first carry out meal and ordered the exact same. Second time no complimentary spiced onions and poppadoms, not a great start. Sauce was very bland looked like tomato puree and tasted like tomato puree, lamb was very good, the rice is totally exceptional perhaps the best in the whole of the United Kingdom. If in Girvan this is undoubtedly thee place for Indian food. The young lady who is sometimes around is almost worth the visit alone. Visited again got medium spiced sauce and it was better, will try hot next time, might manage 5 stars!

Ordered a family take away, we were given a time of 21.00 and the food arrived just before then, absolutely piping hot and very tasty. The quantities are mammoth! There is also a box to add any likes/dislikes when ordering which is handy. Can defo recommend.

Stopped overnight in Girvan, as we're heading to Ireland on the Ferry in the morning. Didnt expect much for a quiet Monday night, maybe Fish n chips to takeaway.......What can i say, what a little gem of a place! As Indian food lovers, we cant recommend this place enough. The food was so flavoursome, and the staff are A1, it was the perfect indian meal! Id actually drive back for a night just to experience it again. Thank you guys at Yasmins, faultless, just perfect. My party of 7 was warmly greeted upon entry. The staff was very welcoming, which was very much appreciated after a long drive. Everything we ordered was outstanding! The masalas were so flavorful and the portions were generous. My favorite was the Thai Masala. It was a perfect fusion of traditional masala and Thai flavors. Thank you Yasmins for providing us with the perfect dining experience, we will definitely return next time we're in town!

Wow! Best Indian meal I've had in ages.

We wanted to have dinner but we had not made any reservation. It was full. We decided to use the Take Away service. 30 mns to wait. The owner and the other membres of the staff did their best to help us wait. They were all very nice and apologized for the time they had to spend to prepare the dishes. They tried their best to keep us waiting patiently. We were really touched by their genuine kindness. And when we arrived home, the food was qorgious. I wish we had the same attitude from the restaurants in France, our country!...
