I used to love this place but now they serving very rubbish quality food old and not fresh. Doner is not cook properly.Staff very unprofessional, Overall a very poor experience. Big disappointment.

I visited this establishment after hearing its reputation. Firstly, the level of service leaves a lot to be desired, entered the takeaway section and waited more than 5 to 6 minutes to be served. Especially as the place was empty (once I left the place was empty, little wonder). Exasperated I called out "can I get a Chicken Shish" at this point my order was taken. Cooked over charcoal the chicken was prepared to a satisfactory standard, but, this kebab excels over others because of the fantastic pitta bread which enveloped the contents. This added to the overall enjoyment of the Chicken Shish and made it one of the best I tasted. If you can put up with ignorant service, try it once in a while.

Yasars, best kebab in Walthamstow. When I go to a gig I get off at Blackhorse road and buy a kebab. I then walk home eating it. It always tastes great.

Haven’t been here for many years when we used to come here after gigs at the royal Standard and drink and eat here to the early hours!Food is still excellent!Service is still first class!Best Turkish restaurant in the borough and maybe London!Unlike many similar restaurants in the borough entrees and bread are still provided free of charge! Little extra touches of complimentary Baklava and Turkish tea that you cannot find anywhere are still freely offered!All in all an amazing experience and one we shall continue to repeat!!I thoroughly recommend this place and will become a regular again!

Disgusting service and terrible restaurant! I had booked a stag night 3 weeks prior, and called 3 separate times to confirm my booking, which the restaurant agreed. Much to my horror, upon arrival the owner claimed he had only just found out about my booking and had not organised a set menu. He then proceeded to make one up from the top of his head and overcharge the party for food. As a result the party was ruined for the groom and multiple people had to leave. We waited almost 3 hours for our food and no suitable goodwill gesture was offered to us and the staff were extremely rude, disrespectful and disorganised. To top it off, the food was mediocre! DO NOT EAT HERE!

I just had a meal at Yasar’s with my family. We had the mixed grill to share for 4-6 people! We couldn’t even finish it!! Thank you to the friendly and amazing staff Authentic Turkish grill and open until late daily ...

The food was cooked to perfection I had Salmon washed down with some delicious Rose wine. Very attentive staff, good value for money.

Team of 15 ordered all sorts of kebabs and sides for a lunch time meal to take out. Food was cooked fresh and staff very attentive. Great tasting food and good menu to choose from.

Yasar's historically was somewhere for people in Walthamstow to go and have a late drink and something to eat while their at it. Now with pubs closing, this place has come into it's own with a good affordable menu

For the best Turkish food in Walthamstow look no further, whether it’s to eat in or takeaway. Very tasty food and big portions. The owner Mustapha and his brother Yilmaz always provide the laughs and make you feel like one of the family.

£6.50 for a pita bread and 4 pieces of chicken.... I asked for a chicken halep and received this. Awful food, chicken was very dry and pita was old and stale. Why would I order dry chicken on bread with no sauce?? Will not return.

We stayed at an Airbnb close to this restaurant and picked up dinner on our way home one night. The food was good, fresh and provided excellent value. We would eat there again in a heartbeat.

Have been coming here for over ten years. Good, reliable food. The restaurant is very nice but not as good value as the take away. Will only take cash over the counter which is a bit annoying sometimes, maybe a tax saving move. Will continue to come here whilst there are no good competitors

So lucky to have this fabulous restaurant locally.........All the staff are very welcoming.........The service is first class..........and the kebabs are to die for......I usually have a Chef's Special.....a bit of everything.......but there is a great menu to suit all tastes.........The atmosphere is great........and they have been here over 40 years.....so they know what it's about...You can go afternoon or evening......and you'll enjoy the grub so much......that you'll become a regular......The Wi-Fi connection is good too.....

Had to order drinks twice they never came. In end I went to bar to get them. They had not done the order. Man said they were busy? Some of the food we ordered never arrived clearly they messed up order as it wasn't on the bill. Couple on next table we're getting same treatment. I wanted to go to the new place nearer us but my husband chose to try here. We made the wrong choice I won't be back.

This is a place I've been using for years - always good, always busy as a take-away site - but they have recently revamped their eating-in experience to create a welcome dining experience in a relatively sparse part of E17. The food is always fresh, tasty and filling but one of the restaurant's greatest strengths is its late, late opening hours just really pleasing for people like us who finish work late.

Great food. We had the family platter. We got starters of bread and olives and salsa. Wine selection was good. We couldn't finish the platter. Very friendly staff.

I usually go here for a shish kebab late at night, but I had never been to the sit down restaurant side until recently. The food here tastes delicious. The service is great and the portions are massive. Its great value for money and it has a nice atmosphere.

Started going here over 30 years ago. Moved away from London now but whenever we go back we have to visit Yasars. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. This place just gets better and better. The welcome you get is so genuine it makes you feel special. If you haven't been there yet you are missing out!

My partner and I moved to London 3 years ago and are both professional musicians. After a late gig one night we were hungry and looking for somewhere still open at 2am! We had passed the restaurant a number of times but never had chance to go in, but this night we did and we've never looked back! Having had a number of take away meals from the restaurant we decided to eat in one day and were really impressed with the whole experience. The staff are super friendly and attentive, offering free Turkish bread, olives etc to start, and all the food is outstanding. They offer a wide variety of dishes and the portions are very generous. All the food is quick to come out and always hot and fresh. It is really reasonably priced and they even brought us free Turkish tea and baklava with the bill. Yasar's is the only restaurant I've ever known that is often still full of people at 2am. (I think some nights they are open until 4am!)We have been going to this restaurant regularly for the past 3 years and consider it a rite of passage to bring family members to Yasar's when they visit. The staff are always very welcoming and the quality of the food has never dipped. Take away and eat-in meals are both of excellent standard, and when waiting for take away, it's nice to see the food being cooked in front of you so you know exactly what you're getting. Definitely worth a visit!

I have asked them to cook the meat properly as usual when placing the order,they didn't like that so they gave me a kebab full of salad and garlic sauce to take home.When I got back to the restaurant and asking for a kebab properly done they have turned rude and I had to argue with them to get my money back.

In an area that massively lacks decent eating spots - thank god for Yasars. Both take out and meals in are consistently amazing, super friendly staff and the best baklava outside of Turkey, we will be back again and again and again :)

Went out for a meal with my grandad, parents and my aunt. Rang to reserve a table and when I arrived at Yasars a lovely waitress seemed to know exactly who I was and guided me to my table. Ordered starters which arrived and tasted wonderful, the cold meze is really nice, there was a spicy salsa which was to die for. Main course was exquisite, lamb kofte is really tasty! One of the waiters, who I actually think was the manager/owner was really nice, made our night if I'm honest, really went out of his way. Whole family had a great time and it was even better because my aunt was from abroad so she really felt welcomed.P.S there is also free parking across the street which is always a bonus!

Had been told by family members that Yasars was a good place to eat and, as we were passing on Friday evening, we decided to drop in for a meal. Very friendly and efficient service despite the restaurant being busy at the time of our visit and, very tasty food. I have no hesitation in saying that we will be back for certain.

Restaurant was jam-packed but service was still brilliant. The staff were extremely busy but still made time to speak to us, say hi, tell us about the restaurant (which turned 40 in 2016!) and the family. Food was excellent. We have told our friends all about it and will definitely be back.

What can I say, but yet again great meal great family, friendly service. Went with Dean spicer, Danny, Paul Mandy, Tracey, Elsie, and Alfie, for a valentine friends get together. Looked after by cris and all his brothers. The boys have been going for so so many years. If you want a good value, good fun atmosphere then this is the best place to come. Moved away from Walthamstow to Brentwood, but still the best so worth the drive. Plus us ladies all got a red rose.❤️.

Amazing staff, good management, reasonable prices and a good ambience. At the end of the evening I was given some Turkish tea and baklava on the house because it was my birthday.

After driving past Yasars several times and being drawn to it as it has a warm inviting ambience, I finally managed to visit there after missing a flight to Dubai and coming back to The tube station. I was disheartened as you can imagine. That changed after stepping in to Yasars. The ambience is perfect with a warm and cosy feel, tastefully decorated. The staff were great and looked after me. I had the garlic butter prawns with rice and salad. Bread, olives and a tomato and herb paste are served at the beginning. The main was amazing, juicy prawns, fresh salad and rice. The meat dishes are also great.I've taken lots of people here, everyone has liked it. it's a one off special restaurant, you can get a healthy meal in top surroundings as late as 2am, maybe later on the weekends! It's one of the best in East London. I come here often as I eat out a lot. My second home.Thank you Yasars.Av

Took my mother in law there last night for 93rd Birthday. Food was excellent as was the customer service. Warm welcome on entry, shown straight to table, drinks were reasonable priced. Waitress was attentive yet never in the way, just always there when needed. At the end of the evening we were offered coffee & baklava on the house (I thought this was a lovely touch) & then just to finish off when we paid the bill we mentioned to the waitress that it was my mother in laws birthday, she asked us to wait a minute & returned with a cheesecake with a candle in to the sound of Steve wonders HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Thank you for a wonderful evening & for making a 93 year old lady feel very special. Oh forgot to mention great atmosphere, felt like many customers were regulars & we were made very welcome.

Myself and my family enjoyed a lovey two course meal at Yasars restaurant. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We didn't have to wait long for our food. The price was reasonable for a family of five. We were also offered complementary hot drinks after our meal. So it was a wonderful relaxing evening with great food. We will be Visiting again.

Just as good as it always has been. So happy that service has maintained at this standard. This is rare. I've known this place since I was in my teens and now I'm late 30s. The staff are great and food is great. Clean too.

Had a meal here this evening, have not been here for a while after moving out of the area and was recognised and greeted by the ever friendly owners which was nice.No reservation made but table was found and we were seated straight away. We had hot/cold meze for starters and individual kebab main meals which were all cooked perfectly and of a very good quality.Always a lovely meal at Yasars with quality chefs, friendly staff and very reasonable prices.Would highly recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant is really good. The service is friendly and attentive, the charcol grilled meats are great and you leave with a smile on your face. It is right opposite Black Horse Lane Tube so easy to get to so I will definately be going back. Big portions with plenty of bread and a lovely dipping sauce so take it easy on the ordering.

I've lived in the area for 9 years and have walked past and had a "takeaway" a few times but after a recommendation from some friends we went here for a meal Sunday Afternoon and I have to say it was amazing. The service was great and staff were very friendly.The food was just amazing and very reasonable. We made the mistake of having the Meze Starter for two at the beginning and whilst it was beautiful it spoilt our main course slightly as we couldn't eat it all.The food is just beautiful and I can see this being a local haunt of mine now.The restaurant is clean and spacious and the owner is very personable and chats to all the customers.

went here for my sisters birthday and were welcomed by the friendly staff.Ordered drinks and starters which were served in very quick time.The mains were 'absolutely amazing' so much so that i ordered a takeaway for my husband to take home to which he was bragging how lovely it was. The whole night was filled with fun and banter from waiters and we had a great night and will definitely be returning in the near future

Have used yasars for years for mine and families birthdays and have never been disappointed. The family that run this little gold mine are the most amazing people and always take care of you and make you feel welcome. They engage with thier customers which is lovely and the food has always been great. Tonight 7 of us attended for my birthday and we loved it. Credit to this family they have an amazing business with great food. Highly reccomend!!! Thank you guys for a great night will defo be back.

What a gem to have a restaurant like this in Walthamstow! We have walked past this restaurant so many times on the way to or from the tube. Tonight was the night to try it.Our experience of this restaurant was brilliant from start to finish. Warm and welcoming staff, clean restaurant and great menu.The food we ordered was delicious! The chicken shish was succulent and tasty, well presented and cooked to perfection.All three of us enjoyed our food, the ambience and the experience of Yasar's! The food is great always fresh and very tasty. If you are after good turkish food then the Yasar is well worth a visit. Mustafa and the team will always do their best to make the visit enjoyable

The service is always on point at this restaurant. The traditional Turkish dishes are made with love and beautifully presented. The restaurant has had a recent re-furbishment, so looks even better than before. Great ambience, decor, service and food.

YES Yasars! Waitress (Paulina) was amazing. Local girl with bags of personality, delivering a perfect human service to make me feel welcome and well looked after. This is what is sometimes missing from the over priced central London restaurants. The food is great, tasty and well priced. Portions are big so I had my fill. Chilled atmosphere and will def be coming back when we just can't muster the energy to cook dinner. On point Yasars, nice work.

We have visited this restaurant many times and will continue to do so. Each time we visit we have a great welcome which is also reflected in excellent food with great taste. The value is also very good. This has to be the best Turkish restaurant that we have visited . I recommend to all. It is also easy to find as it is close to Blackhorse underground station.

Living on southern Cyprus, I'm well used to Turkish cuisine when I visit the north of the island. Even there I have never enjoyed Turkish cuisine more than the meal tonight at Yasar's Kitchen. The quality of our food was exceptional, the service efficient but not overbearing, and Ben our 5 and 2 year old grandchildren were cared for wonderfully. For the level of service and quality of food, prices are very reasonable. Surroundings are clean, comfortable and pleasant. High chairs are readily available. With my family I have had a superb evening of great dining. With their 40th Anniversary coming up, I wish them ongoing success ... They deserve it!

YASAR'S in Walthamstow is a family run business right next to Black horse Road station. Me and my wife have been going here on a regular basis for over 10 years. The food is fantastic the service is fantastic and they have recently redecorated and it also looks fantastic I highly recommend going to yasars in Walthamstow if you like good Turkish food. P.s at the weekends they also have some live music

Been going here for 30+ years and great to see how evolved into a top quality restaurant - the refurbishment a few years and introduction of charcoal grill has cemented its place as the place to eat in E17, especially late at night. Family run and all staff are very welcome and always return when hungry after a day out.

If you've never tried Turkish food before, this is definitely the place to try it if you're in London. It's around the corner from the Blackhorse station and the prices are very good for what you get. The food is prepared fresh and appetizers are served, which are just as excellent as the meal itself. I'd certainly come here again given the chance I'm in London again. I had the Mixed Kebabs with rice and salad and it was excellent. It really gives you a touch of everything on one dish. Even if you're not an adventurous type when it comes to food, each dish has something for someone. It's certainly a place to try.
