Yardbird in Lisburn

Hay que entrar por la terraza del pub ya que está en la primera planta de un edificio antiguo. El local es bonito, típico de costillas y pollo con una enorme barbacoa. Pedimos alitas picantes y costillas, que estaban espectaculares, sabrosas y se despegaban del hueso solas. Me quedé con ganas de más. Servicio rápido y el chico muy agradable. Volvería.

Les plats sont généreux, nous nous sommes régalés, Le lieu est également très chaleureux, l'accueil au top et les boissons diversifiées.

Lovely food very impressed. A lovely find in the centre of cathedral quarter and very reasonable. Lovely atmosphere inside with low lighting and food cooked in an open kitchen. Food was delicious we had the buffalo burger and half chicken and fries. Great food and great service. Will be back

Casual, friendly vibe. Really comfortable space and staff were top class. Delicious, finger licking chicken. Worth a visit. Very handy location when finding somewhere to meet student kids - central enough to Queens and UU. Overall worth a second and third trip!

Very nice place with atmosphere and a nice laid back dining experience. We had a number of chicken dishes which were all delicious. Staff smiley professional and the service was good.

It was our first time in Belfast, what a find The Yardbird was. We called in, in the hope they had a table free, which they did, if we didn't mind vacating it at 3.15, we had no problem with this. We were shown to our table we ordered and ate some really delicious food, the staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you

Absolutely amazing !! Have the booze and bird deal ….. whole chicken plus two sides, two dips and wine !! The chicken was amazing, the two dips (awesome sauce and salt and chilli garlic mayo ) were awesome, chips me slaw wonderful and we also ordered half a rack of ribs because we are greedy !! We had an amazing dinner and would really recommend!! Really good prices and good food - staff are busy …. The restaurant is busy …. So they are rushing around and if you’re someone who really needs pampering by stuff then may not be to your taste but the staff on shift today checked backed and were the right Amount of attentive for us ◡̈

We needed a quick no frills dinner before heading back to the airport. We didn't have a reservation and even though it was 5:30 on a saturday it was busy but we got a table, service was good, the wine, chicken , sweet potato fries were fab and all very reasonable. A good range of clientele of all ages which probably says it has a good reputation as its above a very lively fun bar but the noise downstairs didn't disturb . Would recommend! Exactly what we wanted - quick, tasty, filling with attentive staff. Pound for pound a really laidback, easy cheap eat.

Not sure where to start because this place came highly recommended on TripAdvisor and from friends. Perhaps they were having an off day. My partner and I both ordered the fried chicken burger and vegan loaded fries (I don’t like rotisserie chicken so though the vegan option would be better). I also ordered no pickles in my burger because I’m a fussy so and so! The burgers arrived and my goodness! Swimming in burger sauce. So much so that the sauce spilled over the side of the tiny basket they put it in. All over the table. I’ve never seen so much sauce. I wonder if the lid fell off whilst applying it and they decided to send it out anyway?! The vast majority of my chips were also undercooked so it felt like I was eating raw potato. The loaded fries were the same and the vegan chicken pieces were so undercooked but just about edible as they’re not actually chicken. Overall I wouldn’t recommend eating here based on my my experience. I HATE complaining which is why I didn’t say anything at the time, but that’s more so down to social anxiety!! Sorry, but never again.

Unfortunately all of the group disliked their food. It was tasteless and served in a plastic basket like some kids party. The Yardbird lacks atmosphere or any sense of fun considering it is casual dining. We will never be back.!!!

Absolute gem in Belfast. We came for dinner without a booking, no problem at all, were given a buzzer which calls us when table ready. Staff great and food absolutely amazing, had a special offer Bozze'n'bird we had to come back the next day for lunch as couldn't believe how good it was and had tasted even better. Mi familia y yo disfrutamos mucho de nuestra comida aquí. Tienen un menú bastante simple, especialmente para los sin gluten, pero todos disfrutamos mucho de su comida. Mi padre y yo comimos pollo y patatas fritas sin gluten con ensalada de col, que estaba delicioso. Mi madre, que no es celíaca, también disfrutó mucho de las costillas BBQ. Las raciones son bastante grandes, por lo que no necesitamos nada de postre. En general, definitivamente lo recomendaría.

Visited here a number of times but thought this time to leave a review. Post lockdown meal was lovely. We had wings and rib combo shared between 2 with 1 side. Very tasty and flavoursome, washed down with some drinks. Prices have been slightly increased since last visit but not by much, also some deals that were on previous menu are now not available which was the only disappointment. Great place for some food before heading into the Cathedral Quarter in Belfast. Will come again soon.

We landed in Belfast on Friday to watch the ice hockey but it was cancelled so we came to The Dirty Onion and Yardbird within 20 mins of arrival. Starved and annoyed. Well that dissipated by the time we left big bellied and cheered up. WHAT. A. PLACE. Stunning Rotisserie chicken over a flame griddle. Perfect ribs and gorgeous sides. We only had 2 nights and wanted to ensure we got the best Belfast had to offer so we came back here. The beer is great too. Once we finished we headed downstairs for some live music with our drinks. Great food. Great hosting. Fantastic setting. I might add, the Belfast Giants Hockey team we’re eating here when we arrived so you know this place is good when your capitals allstars eat here.

Visitamos aquí para comida no planificada ya que estábamos en la cebolla sucia tomando una copa y luego vimos el menú. Llegamos un lunes por la noche a eso de las 9 de la noche, así que el lugar estaba muerto y nos sentamos enseguida. Nos permitieron traer nuestras bebidas del bar a la mesa, que también era útil.Pedimos una Veggie Wrap para mí y cambié el lado de las papas fritas por maíz en la mazorca sin problemas, lo cual fue genial. Mi amigo pidió el 1/4 pollo con papas fritas.La comida llegó a tiempo y era sabrosa, las porciones eran de buen tamaño y bien valía la pena. ¡La porción de chips de mis amigos fue enorme!La decoración era moderna, rústica e industrial y el servicio era amable.La comida era razonable, mi envoltura vegetariana y un lado era 7. 50 que pensé que era un buen precio.Volveremos soy el próximo en Belfast!

Had to wait 45 mins for a table. I’ve never had such dry and tough ribs in my life. Chicken wings were good and sweet potato fries were also good. Apple pie was clearly warmed in a microwave with soggy bottom and it was not reheated thoroughly. Nice atmosphere and good location though.
