Yaprak Kitchen in Harrow

Great food! The staff were a laugh, especially the gentleman that served us! I loved the decor. There's a strip out the front where you can park, but depending on what time you go, it can get quite busy. There's also parking on the side roads. However, I'm not sure if any of these roads are free as I got dropped off and didn't drive myself. The location of the restaurant is just opposite the library.

Poor service, starters on our table for 50 mins. Our mains took 1 hour 45 mins to arrive and they were all cold. Would never come back.

Came here tonight and shared a £56 main course with another person. Half way through found a massive black hair ( I’m blonde) Manager came out and argued that nobody in the kitchen had hair that long even though our waitress did. Food was given back yet still full priced on the bill and service charge was still kept on. Paid in full however last time they get a penny out of me and will make sure the word is spread about this! Food that I managed to eat before the hair was extremely average, even had to ask for a sharper knife to cut through the lamb pieces as was so tough. Thought the place being empty was due to it being a Tuesday but now I’m thinking it’s because of the quality!

I went with a friend as she recommended it. Nice atmosphere. I obted for lunchtime menu with consist of a starter and a main. We were given freshly made bread and it amazing. My starter was beetroot salad and my main was sea bass filleto. It was delicious just the right amount of potions. The price for lunch was £12.95 which I thought was reasonable. It was plated almost like fine dining. Service was good. We were served quite quickly. Waiters were attentive and pleasant. I would probably come her again. I say probably. I don't live in the area. So it would a when I met my friend for lunch again.

Me and my colleagues went to celebrate hitting target for the year and the service was beyond poor. We waited 15 minutes for a server to even notice we wanted to order drinks, once to food arrived not even one waiter came over to make sure everything was okay until we singled for the bill around 40 minutes after the food came (there was only around 3 other tables in there), we asked if we could take home some food and my colleague was made to pack her own food. Very disappointing.

Do not waste your time going here. Arrived and not shown to a seat.. after 15 mins not even offered a drink. (Wasn’t even busy) Starters were awful I had send back and tasted like was like food was microwaved. Chicken was dry bland & the casserole was pure oil and tasteless . The best thing about the meal was the breads Not offered a desert or coffee Probably the worst service I’ve had but they still put service charge on bill AVOID!!!

Always accept your order and then cancel happens all the time and I have to wait for a refund off just eat. Time wasters

Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience here. The lamb moussaka gave my husband a very bad stomach. The staff were quick to bring our food order, but didn’t seem too happy to be there or to help with questions about the menu. Considering the main courses are £20 each I wouldn’t say it’s cheap, so unlikely to return or recommend as there’s more choice out these and around Hatch end for similar menus with better customer service, in my opinion.

This is the best iskender kebab that I have eaten in a long whole. Using adana kebabs instead of doner kebab meat made the flavours much more pronounced and all the more delicious. The bread was fantastic and the chilli sauce has a good kick. The service could have been faster but they were very polite. Absolutely would come again.

I went last night with friends to dine at Yaprak, we were a group of 6 adults and 6 children. The food was good but not amazing, I have had better at Yaprak before. The prices are very high, grilled chicken with chips and salad £19, the prawn dish is nice but quite dry as it comes with no sauce at all, again £21 for 6 prawns with some chips and salad it’s quite pricey. Only the adults had starters, 5 kids menus, no desserts and no coffees and we ended up paying over £360 with a £40 service charge included. The service was really good, every person that came to our table was polite and served us with a smile. I’ll probably not going to return because I left with the feeling that I’ve paid too much for what I got it.

Food arrived cold at the table, had to ask for it to be reheated which didn't cause an issue with the staff or management

(Visiting London from the States and our friends suggested this restaurant. I'm usually not an adventurous eater but had determined this trip to try new things.) Everything was amazing! We decided to try lots of things. The Mixed Hot Platter appetizer was great. The calamari was AMAZING. The best we've ever had! Everything had great flavor and each individual thing brought it's own unique taste and texture to the platter. The Mixed Shish (Chicken Shish and Chicken Beyti) with the rice was also amazing. The chicken Beyti was my favorite of the two. So flavorful. My husband loved the Lamb Casserole. I also tried King Prawn which was good, the peppers had great flavor. This was my "safe bet" as I love shrimp. To do over again I probably wouldn't do the prawn again, they weren't bad at all. But the other food was so flavorful and new. Looking forward to lunch leftovers for sure!

One of my fav spots! The lamb shish is always tender and perfectly cooked, very talented and attentive chefs. Staff made me feel very welcome.

The minute my family and I walked in, the staff were all very happy and accommodating as we had a baby and a pram and ensured everything was ready for us when we sat down. Jan and the team were great and I have to admit give the best customer service! It’s always service with a smile and not a forced smile! What can I say about the food! The portions are massive so be prepared! While the portions are big the presentation is impeccable! I would highly recommend Yaprak in Pinner to anyone and look forward to my next visit already!

Best Turkish food I ever had in London. Great ambience and service. Would definitely recommend for special occassions. Update: Writing this review in 2023 as my first review was in 2020 and I was blown away by the food and service as you can see in my review above. I recently visited and I was not happy at all the food was subpar, I ordered chicken wings and they were really really small as in not worth for £17 and my partner ordered Sarma Beyti which was okish. I believe the chef might have changed in last 3 years. I observed the prices went up and I dont mind paying extra but was expecting good food. Not my favourate restaurant anymore.

Amazing amazing amazing. Good value for money, excellent service, lovely atmosphere. Trust me if you are hungry do not fill up on too many starters, the mains are delicious and a healthy size. Food is amazing I had the boregi, lambs liver, prawns & sujuk and some cocktails. Everything perfect. For main I had mixed grill and a iskender. Absolutely delicious. The most was perfectly cooked everything was lovely, this is the 2nd time I've came here and it has not disappointed. Always gotta finish with some tea and they gave complimentary sweets also. Really nice place with amazing workers.

The food is really delicious and very reasonably priced. I have tried most of the dishes, and never have I been left disappointed. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the owner is such a sweetheart! The restaurant itself is stylish, with a lovely atmosphere. This is by far the best restaurant in the area, and I would most certainly recommend it.

My wife and I had one of the best meals we've ever had in early July. The service was fast and efficient and the people here are so friendly. The quality of the food was outstanding and so fresh. Nothing was too much trouble and I have to have a shout out to the waitress Jen who was wonderful, friendly and so attentive. We had to asked the manager to come over so we could tell him that his staff and chefs were an absolute credit to him. Out of the goodness of his heart he gave us free baklava and Turkish delight which really added that special touch to an already great night out. I can't recommend this highly enough and if you're in the area it's a must-go-to place. We will be back again very soon.

Nice people and relaxing ambience.

Attended with a small group of friends. Food was excellent , atmosphere was calm and the restaurant of a modern Turkish theme. Staff were also very attentive! Would recommended

Food was okay. Service was okay, but our drinks came after the food. We had to keep reminding them for certain drinks. Paid an £85 deposit to secure the table, which they said would be removed off of the final bill, but after coming home and checking the bill we realised they didn’t deduct the amount. We trusted them but they left us very disappointed. An £85 tip they definitely didn’t deserve!

Pinner branch is a dull venue needs better lighting and the food was not great as some had to be sent back as not fully cooked. Took most home for the dogs so I didn’t waste my money. And was told I HAD to pay the service charge which I didn’t!

That was unbelievable, the customer service was absolutely fantastic. I’ve ordered Adana Kebab with rice and salad, an extra side with chips and it tastes really great and I’m humbled and delighted to buy the best Turkish restaurant in North West London.

Really great food and our waitress was lovely. However it was severely understaffed. Didn't get the drinks we ordered (apparently the lady at the bar was just being obtuse) and didn't get half the food we ordered. Didn't pay that part, so it's fine. What we did get was delicious.

Had a very bad experience,as the one who served me yesterday was so rude and very miss behaved. She served me the wrong order and charged me extra. I am not happy at all with the service. I will never come to this restaurant anymore. I am so shocked that we always go but never had such a bad experience.

Waitress got our order wrong and charged us extra £12 She started shouting at us, everyone started watching, very rude Felt uncomfortable and definitely wouldn’t recommend. Never again

I ordered the lamb shank, Adana kebab and chicken beyti. I'm quite a fan of Turkish food however on this occasion I found the food quite lacking in flavour. Although my partner seemed to enjoy her meal I wasn't quite impressed. The service was great, friendly staff I could not fault. The mocktail, however were very good! The pomegranate salad was excellent 👌 I have had better tasting Turkish food in the UK. It's decent enough to try if you're new to Turkish cuisine. Our meal cost us £57

Delish food and lots of it! After having a kebab a few times before I had the chicken casserole instead, this was just as or more delicious. We ordered directly from the restaurant and was advised they don't usually deliver, but did us a favour and delivered anyway. Can't recommend more.

This was our second visit here. First time was 4 years ago and we loved the food. Never got round to going back but always wanted to. Today we finally did and the food and service was exceptional. We got the lamb shank and it was incredible. Would definitely go back again and would recommend. Menu is not over priced and the quality is definitely there!

The restaurant is very posh and nice lovely and the food was good too. They had traditional Turkish food. You have to pay £5 per person if you are making a a reservation for more than 5/6 people. But they deduct it from the bill after. However the customer service can be improved. Instead of giving a jug of water, we had to constantly keep asking for water to be topped it. Also I misread the menu and asked for hummus although the menu had said halloumi. Instead of the waiter correctly me. She agreed with me and then brought halloumi. I was very confused and baffled. The matter could have been easily resolved if the waiter had just corrected me.

We had my daughters 4th birthday there on Saturday and everything was fantastic. Food was some of the best we have had in a long time. The restaurant gave us space to spread and time to enjoy ourselves. A big thank you to the manager, the staff and the chefs

Great place;but not the best food anymore! Portions are very small not very tasty as supposed to be and on the top of that 13% service charge wich I haven’t been told until I payed; it’s the last time and probably we never gone be back as we think it’s unfair to be charge even for a Turkish tea £2.50 when all the restaurants gives you for free; anyway overall I do not recommend as the money you pay it will not worth it the food; don’t get me wrong the place it’s great but food price&quality/ quantity it’s not worth the money you will pay plus 13% service charge.

My 4th visit to this lovely restaurant and as always loved the food , the atmosphere and the service. Staff were fab. My friend's first visit and it was very satisfying. :)

Service was great. We called for a reservation 30 mins before arriving and were given a table immediately. Staff were extremely accommodating and the food was great. There are quite a lot of options for vegetarians - we got a few starters to share, instead of mains.

Nice venue, good food, not bad customer service.. Certain dishes taste better than others, but generally speaking its ok.. We were offered tea because I asked for it, but usually tea is not on house, which was quite surprising as it is part of the Turkish tradition..

Wonderful food! Our experience was a little less pleasant because of the self opinionated manager, Ilhan. A group of ten spending over £40 per head could have been treated a bit better. The rest of the staff were excellent. We will go to Yaprak in Eastcote in future.

The food is great and the decor is lovely, but the service could definitely do with some improvement. The waiters aren't really helpful and you need to almost raise your voice to get their attention, and this is when the restaurant was practically empty.

Gone down hill big time .i use to love this place .but after yesterdays raw chicken i will never be going back

It used to be a good place but the quality and taste of food has gone down significantly. The manager is absolutely rude and obnoxious. I would have gone there again but because of the manager at the pinner restaurant we will never ever go again. He needs a lesson or 2 about customer service, courtesy and manners. The fact that the owner only replies on the few good reviews and completely ignores the bad ones shows how arrogant this business is becoming. The restaurant already looks empty compared to how it used to be before.

Horrible place to dine-in very bad people who are rude to their customers. We found some problem with food and when combined the incharge just started to be rude and ruined our day there. Not going there again.

I wanted to see the hype around this restaurant. We went in the evening and it was extremely busy. Service: slow, even to take orders and then for the food to arrive (due to it being busy I assume) and then for the bill. No interaction except to being asked what we wanted, no welcome. Service let’s this decent restaurant down. Order: I had chicken beyti as a main and shared a mixed starter. The food was good, but it wasn’t exceptional. For the price We paid, I expect better service.

Visited this restaurant with friends for a long overdue catch up. The food was delicious but quite expensive. Service was poor and took a while to get things. We had to ask the waiters several times to get things for us as they kept forgetting. The bill took ages to come as no one bothered to check on us after we finished our main meal. We would have stayed longer to have another drink or two, but after spending 2 hours here with only mains and a few drinks, we'd had enough. Food is 5/5, but the service let this place down.

Incredibly rude staff who do not understand their own menu. When trying to order a dish where it is a choice, I am told I cannot can have my choice. Despite being able to order this dish since they opened. Rather than being accommodating, they start arguing. Used to be preferred place for Turkish food. Now will be lucky. Expect me to tell others the same
