Wrap & Roll in Down

We visited Wrap and Roll, Market St today (20th Jan) and the women who served us was so lovely and chatty. Suited both our needs with two lovely salads and the food was so fresh and lovely. A real gem of a shop to stop for lunch, it suits all needs. Thank you.

Wrap and Roll is the best place in County Down for wraps, rolls, baps and coffee. There's a top notch selection of fillers to choose from including sausage rolls and tray bakes. I travel throughout NI and have to say the friendliness and professionalism of the staff is the best I've encountered in a while. I love going in every week for the best craic and Kellie, Noel and the gang have cheered me up no end especially on my worst days. Go to Wrap and Roll and get cheered up!

I have to work in Downpatrick each Thursday and a work colleague introduced me to this gem of a place. Great variety of foods available for carryout. Staff very friendly and amazing coffees. I'm becoming a regular and nice to be welcomed even though I'm a 'blow in'

We had a couple of cheese platters yesterday for a family birthday party. They went down a storm! There was a good variety of cheese across two boxes and two salami types as well as several small pots of dressing and dips. There was crackers, breadsticks crusty bread slices in the boxes, finished off with strawberries and grapes. They was absolutely perfect for the event and easily satisfied 14 people. If you asked for no meat, it would be great for vegetarians too. I had no prep to do apart from open a couple of bags of crisps and get out the glasses for prosecco. Highly recommenfed.

In the past few weeks I have ordered sandwich platters and picnic platters for outdoor social distancing lunches with friends and family. The platters and food are always fresh, tasty and well presented. Staff are always fantastic and very friendly. Couldn’t fault them!

Called for collection yesterday lunchtime I found it to be a bit chaotic for collection outside. Worrying to see staff with no masks or social distancing, order was n’t correct either.

Terrible service at church street. Ordered 2x sandwiches was left standing waiting for 30 minutes then noticed a person that order after me walking away with their food. I walked up to a small window at the side of the building and my order was sitting there. The staff were rude stating that my order was called several times but I’m sorry they can call it 100 times because you can’t hear it from the front of the shop and no signage to direct you to a collection window. A woman who looked to be more senior in the shop who had no manners said that’s their system and wan unapologetic. Sorry bout you need to let your customers know your “system “ or provide a crystal ball. No social distancing or face masks being worn either

Staff really friendly - great choice. It's my first choice every time I'm in Downpatrick... I even take a detour to savour the 'wrap & roll delights

Bon petit restaurant pour apporter. Sandwich et wrap savoureux. Le wrap au poulet est délicieux. Service courtois et rapide. Parfait pour un pic nic sur la route pendant notre roadtrip en Irlande du Nord.

Ordered my food via email as always and they seemed to lose it and I had little time to eat my food and the staff didn't even offer a discount. And to add to this the chicken in my panini wasn't even warm following them "heating" it.

Great food. Plenty of choice of breads, paninis etc and fillings. Love the soup which is fresh made every day. Good coffee. Very friendly staff.

I always order the "wrapido" (spicy chicken, cheese, tobacco onions, jalapeños and southwest sauce) and it is unbelievable. Service is great. Food is unreal. Love this place.

You got come to the wrap & roll at flyns garage the food is great the staff always greet you with a good morning or afternoon whatever time of the day it is with a smile come and meet the friendly staff and have your roll wrapped with a smile my favourite place to eat.security at the new downpatrick leisure centre come along and try it for yourself

Usually I purchase at the Church St Outlet where the cuisine is fresh wholesome and delicious, staff friendly customer focused and friendly. This time I purchase atthe Ballydugan Road outlet wher my experience was negative and at odds with my usual purchases at Church St, food was as always great but the female staff member seemed to think I was invisible not once making any contact with me a very unpleasant experience. Coming to pay the cost was £4.00 I gave her £10.00 and she gave me £4.00 back. Clearly inexperienced staff and not what customers expect. A big effort in staff training clearly needed.

I called in here at lunchtime and ordered a wrap, I was pleasantly surprised at the choices of filling and extensive menu available. Fresh food at reasonable prices.

Ate from the wrap and roll outside catering at the Skiffieworld championships in Delamount Country park . Over the week sampled the sandwiches, toasties, soup, Irish stew, Barley Broth, and Wraps the food sold out every day it was so popular. Its good local food made with execllent local ingredients call in if you are passing

Me he convertido en un cliente habitual de envoltura y roll. Sirven una extensa lista de rellenos para sándwiches, baguettes, envolturas y patatas al horno. Las sopas son sabrosos y elaborados como en todos los alimentos que ofrecen. Lo que más me gusta de este lugar es que todo está hecho y conocen a sus ingredientes porque no es de un paquete. El personal es siempre amable y dispuesto a atender las peticiones de comida. Perfecto para el almuerzo o picnics y también ofrecen servicio de catering para fiestas.

Excellent sandwich bar. Love their soup varieties (something different every day). The coffee is very good too. Sandwiches, subs etc. My fav is the chicken goujons, especially with some of Cokey's hot sauce !!

Nicest baguette I have had in ages. Staff friendly, the baguette was reasonably priced and it was full of fresh ingredients. Its always packed at lunchtimes but the queue moves fast. Can't wait to go back.

There's not much to review here!!! It's simple, big, tasty sandwiches. Salad boxes are great, staff are great and the prices aren't too bad either. Try it, you'll love.

The best sandwich shop in Downpatrick! I try to go to Wrap & Roll wherever I can. They have such a wide range of fillings and are always will to go that extra mile for their customers. Fabulous food and fabulous staff, what more could you ask for?

They make the most delicious paninis and sandwiches. Its a nice wee spot to get quick bite to eat from. Wish they would open a cafe!!

Packed from crust to crust and beautiful ... Very tasty , place was spotless and well stocked .... The owner is a very pleasant and friendly young woman

Came across this little deli come take-away whilst on holiday in Northern Ireland. Huge variety of sandwiches, wraps and salads on offer at really reasonable prices. The proprietor was so helpful to us making up a special table for our family of five to eat at and giving us extra treats for our small grandson, also telling us of local places of interest. Really enjoyable.
