We decided to pay a wee visit to our favourite ice cream shop, it's about 35 miles round trip but worth it. We got some wispa gold cookie doughs, kit Kat cheesecake and white choc dazzle ice cream, which were all delicious and portions were good sizes. The ice cream is all made from fresh ayrshire cows milk which makes the ice cream so creamy.Definitely worth paying this little hidden gem a visit!

My favourite place to go for ice cream, tried the toffee fudge and malteaser today, both were delicious. We asked for medium tubs but they were more like large tubs, well worth the money. Cant recommend enough!

Stayed at the hotel opposite and noticed this ice cream parlour so popped in for our dessert after our evening meal. Surprised it was open so late and very busy. Delicious creamy ice cream and even better that you could eat in a bright cafe at the rear of the shop.Friendly staff, clean and an amazing selection of ices on offer. Yummy!!!

If it's a hot day, (and even if it's not), why not treat yourself to a trip to Woodies for a tub or two, or three of their delicous ice cream.I have tried vanilla, chocolate and malteser to date, and all are delicous. This is just the tip of the iceberg thoughy, they have an amazing selection. They also have a sit in section at the back of the shopwhere you can savour the ice cream in comfort. It is worth visiting Mauchline just to sample it !!!

I have visited the tiny Woody’s Ice cream parlour a number of time since it opened and have always enjoyed the experience. It is small and the seating is very limited unlike the selection of flavours. I’m allergic to chocolate so I cannot vouch for quite a few of the ice creams but the ones I have tried are creamy and well made. If you buy a coffee it is also well made and nicely flavoured and comes with a tiny taster icec cream cone (which melts if you don’t remove it from its holder). The staff appear to be mostly young people from the local area and are pleasant and attentive. You need to order before taking a seat but it’s a good idea to check if you intend to sit in that there is a seat available. All in all a pleasant repeatable experience. A flat white with a 2 scoop tub is just over a £5.
