HAS THIS PLACE CHANGED HANDS FOR ITS GONE FROM THE BEST TO THE WORST? THE FOOD AND SERVICE WAS EXCEPTIONAL, COLLECTED THE F1 TAKEAWAY TO TAKE HOME AND ENJOY WITH FRIENDS, SHOCK HORROR THE FOOD WAS DISGUSTING, THE SPARE RIBS WERE BALD AND WHAT LITTLE MEAT WAS LEFT WAS SO TOUGH IT WAS UNEATABLE ! THE SWEET AND SOUR MIXED BALLS WERE VILE, I IMMAGINE THEY'D BEEN COOKED MUCH EARLIER IN THE DAY AND KEPT WARM, FOR THE OUTER BALLS WERE HARD, AND WHEN YOU EVENTUALLY MANAGED TO CUT THROUGH INTO THEM YOU STILL DID NOT KNOW WHAT YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE EATING, I'M GUESSING SOME WERE DRIED UP CHICKEN WHEREAS 4 OF US WOULD NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO GUESS WHAT THE VERY DARK COLOURED FILLING WAS?? THE ONLY EATABLE THING ON THE PLATE WAS THE FRIED RICE AND PRAWN CRAKERS. NO POINT IN TAKING IT BACK AND REQUESTING OUR £47.50 BACK AND COMPLAINING, AS NO ONE APPEARED TO SPEAK ENGLISH.!!!!!! THEIR FOOD IN THE BIN, IT WAS CHEESE ON TOAST !

We tried this as our usual takeaway was closed. A bit wary as we hadn’t been there before. Our neighbour recommended it. It was delicious and good value for money. Large pieces of chicken and the king prawns were soft and lovely. We will ge back

Staying on the island for a few days. This is an amazing take away. Very reasonable. Hot. Good portions. Ready on time. Will be going again before we leave.

I ordered £64 worth of food most of the dishes were very nice, the only problem they sent me 5 bags of pancake rolls with 10 in each bag. This should of been two other dishes. lol

My friend & I have waited all week to get together to have a Chinese. We were so disappointed by the quality & taste. Gloopy BBQ sauce with little flavour & spices not cooked out properly in the Singapore Vermicelli. All in all a terrible experience.

My friend and I were very much looking forward to s takeaway from Woks Wagon on Hayling. The BBQ sauce certainly wasn't, the squid did not taste like squid. My friend now has a very upset tummy very soon after eating. All in all just wasted £32.00. never ever again.

My husband and I had a short holiday last month,and visited this takeaway twice.All the food we had was of excellent quality,the portion sizes were very generous,and everything was lovely and hot.The chap who took our order was very pleasant,and it was great to see a nice clean open kitchen. We will definitely be back next holiday,or better still please move to Guildford!

We ordered a takeaway to our caravan at the local holiday park. Deliverers straight to our door was very convenient and quick. Food was tasty and good value.

We ordered a takeaway from here whilst on holiday on Hayling Island. Prices are reasonable and service was quick. The large kitchen can be seen from the public area and it looks very clean and well organised. The food is typical anglo-chinese as you would find on any high street in the UK. I found a dish advertised as spicy to not really be so, but the food wasn't bland or greasy and there was a decent variation between the dishes to avoid the "four meats, four sauces" approach that many takeaways use. I would recommend it for a decent night in, there weren't really any surprises but nothing to complain about either. That's what I'm looking for in a Chinese takeaway and would definitely go back.

The service was absolutely amazing. We put in an order over the phone, they were very patient and double checked everything to ensure the order was right. They delivered to our caravan door rather than just reception which we were very pleasantly surprised by. And...

order placed ok but food arrived after one and a half hours!! Driver apologised saying everyone else is complaining too and he has told the office....not his fault. If you can't run a decent delivery service then don't run it at all! Food was below...

Open Kitchen as a customer you have the right to have a look round asked to see the kitchen it would be interesting it might even get them to clean up their act

I've had quite a few Chinese meals and found this one not only reasonably priced by some of the nicest food I've tasted.

Love woks wagon. Have a great selection of specials. Highly recommend . Easy to park or even to order for a delivery.

Had two takeaways from here during a week at Parkdean. Both meals were incredible,well cooked,plentiful and delicious. The menu is massive and modestly priced. I wish I had this place where I live!

We got grilled dumplings, chicken vermicelli and chicken omelette and chips. The food was done really quick and was really nice. The man serving was really nice and helpful.

Comida y entrega rápida. Ojalá el menú dijo que, si había hongos en su curry, como soy alérgica a esto fue lo arruinó para mí un poco. Las bolas de dulce y agria pollo son increíbles. Las ofertas de comida son de muy buena calidad y cantidades.

La entrega fue en tiempo y comida caliente. Sopa caliente y amarga debería denominarse sopa dulce y amarga. Muy extraño. Costillas bastante sabrosos, pero otras partes de la orden para los principales parecía todas tienen salsa cata notablemente similar a pesar de ser diferentes. Pide de nuevo, pero no es el mejor chino de la isla.

Never had a bad meal here. We usually always go for the curry value meal and a portion of chips. Comes to £11.30 and feeds all three of us ( 2 adults and 1 x 10 year old ) generously. Lovely size portions. Highly recommended

After a long drive down to Haying Island, we ordered a takeaway from Woks Wagon We had a set meal for 2 and separate meals for son & daughter. The sweet & sour chicken was great, as was the quarter duck & pancakes (which made 10!. The beef in black bean sauce was tasty & large enough to have leftovers for dinner the next day.With prawn crackers & veg spring rolls (chips for son) with his sat & pepper chicken, all in was £30 for 4 of us. Good value, Good grub !

Whilst staying at a nearby camp site with friends we ordered a take away from Woks Wagon. What we received was beyond our expectations. Delivered bang on the time we requested, piping hot, very tasty food and the portion sizes were beyond belief, brilliant food keep it up, thanks for making a fun evening a great evening Woks Wagon.

A great takeaway. Very fast service and excellent value for money. Set menu for two at just over a tenner with enough leftovers for a cheeky breakfast.

Been using them for years, friendly service, fast deliveries, great customer satisfaction, and perfectly cooked chinese food.

My son and his girlfriend bought us a meal from here as a thank you for taking them away on holiday. The staff in the shop were cheerful and friendly, the meal was inexpensive and very nice. We had a set meal which for two was about £16, and very enjoyable. My son's girlfriend is very fussy with Chinese food, but she enjoyed it as much as the rest of us. I would highly recommend, WoksWaggon, and the only reason I am unlikely to use again, is we may not return to Hayling island.

75 minutes to deliver overpriced dry tasteless food. Have used this Chinese on countless occasions but service and food has gone down hill. Not happy

Having now tried every Chinese on the Island this is without a doubt the best. The food is tasty, well seasoned and generous. While others have either been swimming in oil or bland as boiled rice, this place is neither. The staff are friendly and polite with the kitchen open to public view so you can see exactly what goes on and what is going into your food.

I was staying at Parkdean resort and ordered a takeaway from Woks Wagon. The food was delicious , not expensive and loads to eat - awesome

First time I have had take away from woks wagon because usual one was closed.will certainly be back delicious hot food promptly delivered

Just order the usual chilli meal, normally has sea weed, ribs,spring rolls and prawn toast,, not anymore! The prawn toast was there but the rest has been replaced with stodgy chicken balls with the worst sweet and sour sauce.Will be going else where in future

We were recommended this venue from a friend who said the aromatic duck , ribs and chicken in black bean sauce is good .....we happily agree . Price was reasonable and when we picked the food up it was popping hot and we were greeted by a happy smiley lady . Give it a go

we ordered a home delivery , of sweet and sour pork balls , chicken foo yung and bbq ribs . the foo yung we threw away as it was stodgy and smothered in onions , the ribs were grisly, so we ate the chicken balls which were quite good .

Really good value for money. The beef is the best . They cook orders fast and efficiently. I don't like the chicken it tastes like it's precooked but that's just me. Beef chow main is beautiful . Nice local Chinese

If we are staying on the island we like to order a meal from here. Its nice that they deliver to the Oven campsite. Reasonably priced, the ribs are nice but could do with a bit more sauce, the chicken curry was quite watery, which let it down a bit and there was hardly any egg in the egg fried rice. But the food was still nice, and the service was fantastic, delivered within half an hour. The Prawn crackers were some of the best i have ever tasted.

My friend and I ordered a meal for 3 to share between 4 of us. Very reasonably priced. The food came piping hot and most of all tasted fantastic. Even got to choose a free product as we spent over £20.

there Singapore noodles is just great, with pork and green peppers along with cqantonese style prawns and mushroom as extra dishes is just superb. Service is quick and the taste and quality is very good then to cap it all the price yes the cost is just excellent value for money

Great chinese with an open kitchen. Good food and they will 'tailor' your order (especially useful with kids!) Wide range of food at good prices. Also next to Planet Kebab for fussy eaters, and a Tesco to shop for liquid refreshments while you wait!

Second time I have reviewed this takeaway, Only this time its not good. Ordered a meal tonight; set meal for 2 people H2 with the addition of BBQ ribs.Delivery was late so I rang the shop; they stated the food was leaving now.Food arrived and what a surprise..... The mixed platter dried out and inedible, little bite size samosa type things with no filling, a clump of deep fried cabbage so dry it poked your gums.... King prawns in sweet chilli sauce was in the same glutinous dayglo muck the ribs came in, Tasteless and bland is an understatement. Only 2 months ago I had a great takeaway from here and now this!!!!! Shame indeed

Well worth the money, which you won't spend a lot of in here, well priced, fast service and good Chinese takeaway. One of our favs if we fancy treating ourselves.

Tried this place after being disappointed with the Chinese takeaway over the road. Food quality pretty much the same, portion size slightly larger and price a bit less.Would go back here again if in Westtown.

I always used to go here as it always good value for money and the staff always helpful but after this week I think twice before I go again. I ordered a meal in the shop so I knew it would be fresh but all the cooks were outside having a fag so it took some while for the order to be cooked and when it came the special fried rice had some sort of black tastless tar on top which ruined that dish then the sweet and sour chicken had a luminous orange jelly like tastless container full of not sure sauce, the prawn crackers were over microwaved and the cheap sort at that. I am sorry but if the owners read this please do something to once was a good take a way

The cheapest, but best tasting food I know in the area! vermichelli veg noodles are my fav. We fed 4 adults for £26 and had loads left after. Worth a try and quick service if you collect. Will deliver to caravan/holiday sites but takes a little longer.

We stayed at the Parkdean Hayling Island park and had our meal delivered. Really nice, excellent prices and efficient delivery.

On our trips to the island, we like to watch the sunset over the sea before our journey home. We usually get take away from here and park on the beach. It is such a nice way to end the day. These guys even deliver to the Oven campsite, which when we stayed there is what we had on our first night.

This is the only Chinese takeaway I use. The service is good. Food lovely. Good selection and good prices.

Just moved to Hayling Island. Chose this take away above other Chinese take aways simply because they'd posted a menu through the door so we had it to hand. Food was delivered within half an hour, was hot and tasty. Don't eat Chinese take aways a lot but was happu with food quality and price. Will use again.

I have an egg allergy and asked the lady who took my order if the dishes I was ordering for myself contained egg and she said no. She probably couldn't here me due to the chefs shouting in the background. As it tuns out, my food did have egg in it and i have been very poorly sincew. Luckily my allergy only causes sickness. I had to repeat my postcode 3 times and my order twice and when my order was read back to me, it was still wrong! It took over an hour to get to my house and when it arrived, my partners meal was cold and soggy. There are a few other Chinese restaurant s on the island and we will definitely be using them instead of the wokswagon. Its a shame because both me and my partner used to really like it.

Excellent and friendly Cantonese takeaway, with one or two individual dishes. I have been a customer for a number of years, including the menu change.
